Certainly! Here's a predicted essay for your medical doctoral entrance exam:Title: The Role of Precision Medicine in the Future of Healthcare。
Precision medicine, also known as personalized medicine, is revolutionizing the landscape of healthcare by tailoring medical treatment and prevention strategies to theindividual characteristics of each patient. This approach considers factors such as genetics, environment, and lifestyle, aiming to improve the effectiveness of interventions while minimizing adverse effects. In this essay, we will explore the significance of precision medicine in the future of healthcare.Firstly, precision medicine holds the promise of advancing disease prevention and early detection. By analyzing an individual's genetic makeup, clinicians canidentify predispositions to certain diseases and develop personalized prevention plans. For instance, genetic screening can reveal a person's susceptibility to conditions like cancer or cardiovascular diseases, enabling early interventions such as lifestyle modifications or targeted screenings. Consequently, this proactive approach has the potential to reduce the burden of chronic diseases and improve overall population health.Secondly, precision medicine facilitates more accurate diagnosis and treatment selection. Traditional medical practices often follow a one-size-fits-all approach, where treatments are based on generalized guidelines. However, individuals may respond differently to the same treatment due to genetic variations. With precision medicine, clinicians can analyze genetic markers to predict how patients will respond to specific medications or therapies. This allows for the selection of treatments that are most likely to be effective, leading to better patient outcomes and reduced healthcare costs associated with trial-and-error approaches.Furthermore, precision medicine contributes to the development of targeted therapies tailored to individual molecular profiles. Advances in genomic sequencing technologies have enabled researchers to identify genetic mutations driving various diseases, paving the way for the development of targeted drugs. These medications are designed to selectively target the underlying molecular abnormalities in specific patient subgroups, resulting in enhanced treatment efficacy and fewer adverse effects compared to conventional therapies. Moreover, targeted therapies offer new hope for patients with rare or hard-to-treat conditions, where conventional treatments have been largely ineffective.Additionally, precision medicine fosters a shift towards patient-centered care. By incorporating patients' genetic information and preferences into treatment decisions, healthcare providers can engage patients as active participants in their own care. This personalized approach not only improves treatment adherence but also empowers patients to make informed decisions about their health. Furthermore, by considering patients' individualcharacteristics and needs, precision medicine promotes equity in healthcare delivery, ensuring that every patient receives the most appropriate and effective care regardless of their background or circumstances. In conclusion, precision medicine represents a paradigm shift in healthcare towards a more personalized, effective, and patient-centered approach. By harnessing the power of genetics and advanced technologies, precision medicine offers unprecedented opportunities to improve disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. As we continue to unravel the complexities of human biology, the integration of precision medicine into clinical practice holds immense promise for the future of healthcare, where each patient receives care tailored to their unique characteristics and needs. This essay demonstrates how precision medicine is shaping the future of healthcare, emphasizing its potential to improve disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment while fostering patient-centered care. As the field of precision medicine continues to evolve, its impact onhealthcare outcomes and patient experiences will undoubtedly grow, ushering in a new era of personalized medicine.。

Surgery and Fear (or Operation and Fear)
This passage writes about the correlation between surgery and fear and measures to control the fear.
Surgery,as an intense mental stimulus, usually brings about emotional stress on the part of the patient, such as anxiety, depression and fear in particular. The emotional stress results in negative psychological and physiological
responses which are likely to make the coming surgery and operative outcome less satisfactory.
The author points out that the strong emotional responses before surgery will lead to a series of body reactions, such as fast heart beat, short breath, sweating and high blood pressure. If the body reactions are not treated
correctly, other serious body or mental disorders may probably occur (arise). Even the surgery may fail. In addition, the emotional stress, together with the operative invasion, increases the risk of bacterial infection.
After surgery, many patients still experience emotional responses. Some are depressed, because they feel painful and cannot move easily. Some are sad or fearful because they worry about compli cations and recovery or do not like the hospital surroundings.
At last the author says the emotional problems related to surgery can be overcome. Before surgery, patients should be provided with mental and emotional guidance. They can learn effective ways to control their emotions by themselves. A lecture to explain the surgical process or a film about the actural surgery is helful. Understanding will prevent the patients from feeling fearful. Forserious cases, loving therapy, or touches showing tender care, plays an important role in elimilating
their fear. (249 words)。
