雅思口语:实例解析食物类话题答题思路及技巧

食物类话题是近期雅思考试出现的一个高频话题。在雅思口语考试的三个部分中都有涉及。中国饮食文化源远流长，博大精深，可能正因为此，所以大多数考生在谈这类话题的时候，常常感觉到词汇贫乏，力不从心。所以要能在考场上从容应对此类话题，首先还是要对其有充分的了解和准备。下面就考试的三个部分来总结和归纳一下此话题在各部分的出题方向，并以真题为例提供一些答题思路和技巧供考生参考。
Part One：
1、关于cooking本身的话题谈到烹饪，考官一般会问“你会不会烹饪？家里一般谁下厨？你最爱吃什么菜？你小时候是如何学烹饪的？”等等这些问题。回答这些问题只要充分借鉴自身经验，照实回答就能很好的应对。来看以下真题：
1、Do you know how to make （prepare）a meal？
2、How well do you cook？
3、Who usually does the cooking in your family （or，in your home）？
4、What's your favorite dish？* 7、What do you （like to）cook？
8、When did you learn how to cook？
9、When you were young，did you learn how to cook/make a meal （= how to prepare food）？
10、How did you learn to cook？
11、Have you ever thought about learning how to cook？
考生们需要注意的是即使是回答最简单的yes or no问题如第1题，也绝不是一个单词那么简单。回答除了要完整成句以外，还一定要有适当的扩充，对于第一部分的提问，一般性回答2-3句话为宜。比如对于第一个问题，我们可以这样回答：Sure，I sometime prepare
breakfast and lunch for my family. But all of them are simple dishes，since I ca n…t cook very well. I can only cook some vegetables，make salad and noodles.
2 关于在外就餐的：
关于食物的延展话题就是“是否喜欢品尝新鲜食物？”和“喜欢在家用餐还是外出就餐？”这两个题都是part one中经常性问道的。比如以下真题：
1、Would you like to try any food that you have never eaten before？
2、Do you usually eat at home or do you usually eat away from home （= "eat out"）？
考生在回答此类问题的时候，需要注意词汇的储备。到底什么样的食物算“new food”呢？不妨具体举几个例子来拓展答案。比如以下这个回答：Definitely，I would like try some exotic food，like Japanese Sushi，Germany sausages，Korean pickles，and Brazil grill. 除了之前两类问法之外，另外一个经常问道的就是学校是否要教授cooking的技能。比如以下真题：
1、Do you think it would be useful to teach cooking in school？
2、Do you think university students should know how to cook？
回答这类问题，我们可以从basic surviving skill、to be independent等角度来回答。
Part Two Describe a special meal or dinner you had. * You should say：What you ate * Where you had this meal * Who you ate with * and explain why this was a special meal to you. *
这道题还可以和“A party you held for others”合并为一道题。

Part Three
第三部分的题目通常是延续第二部分的内容，而相对于第一部分深度和广度上则会有所增加。第三部分取得高分的技巧是：丰富的词汇量、多变的口语句型、灵敏的反应和超强的逻辑思维能力以及一些漂亮的口头语。
以下是一些第三部分的例题：
1、In general，what food do people in China buy when they go shopping for food？

3、Why do you think supermarkets are becoming more popular in China？
4、Do you think the growing number of supermarkets will have any negative effects on society？
5、Have there been any changes in the eating habits of Chinese people in the past 20 or 30 years？
第三部分中，常常会出现对比型的题目，最常见的对比大概有4种，即：男人和女人；年轻人和老年人；过去和现在；中方和西方比较。考生要做到多角度、全方面的分析，做到答案饱满、精确。
尤其是过去和现在的对比，要尤其注意时态的问题。以第5题为例，题目考查中国人的饮食习惯在过去30年时间发生的变化，我们可以这样回答：Well，I have to say there is a significant change in terms of Chinese people… diet comparing 30 years ago with today. In the past，we Chinese people were confined to buy food in open market，and buy something like wheat，vegetable and very few kinds of meat；but now we are offered millions of options：supermarket full of the fresh food with due date clearly labeled，all kinds of meat，various vegetables，a great variety of fruits，everything you could possibly imagine.

雅思口语范文：外出饮食的习惯 Describe your habits for going out to eat I think this is a good topic for me because I'm always eating out. The truth is that I don't like doing too much cooking, so I need to get out quite often-maybe twice a week. I will usually go with my wife but sometimes with a group of people from work.
