一、课程性质

《实用英语》是我院电子信息工程系计算机网络技术、软件技术、网站规划与开发、移动通信技术、应用电子技术专业的一门职业素质领域课程,它是一门必修课。作为专业知识学习的基础,在高职人才培养中具有重要的奠基作用。它要求学生在已有的高中阶段知识的基础上进一步扎实英语基本功,掌握有效的学习方法,增强自主学习能力,在提高英语应用能力的基础上促进专业学习能力,从而有效地掌握专业英语术语,能够快速地阅读专业英语文献。

二、课程目标

总体目标

本课程的目标是要求学生在修完这门课程之后,掌握基本的词汇、核心句型及情景会话,具备较强的听说技能、阅读技能及写作技能;同时掌握有效的学习方法,能够增强资料阅读和语言交流的能力,提高心理素质及跨文化交流意识,以基础英语为专业服务为特点,全面发展听、说、读、写综合能力,为提升就业竞争力及今后的可持续发展打下良好的基础。

1、知识目标

在高中英语教学的基础上,经过 176 学时的教学,使学生巩固基础知识,提高英语听、说、读、写的基本技能,掌握英语词汇及其常用词组,掌握英语语法知识,读懂一般题材的英文资料,听懂日常生活用语并能在职场交际中加以运用。

1)词汇:掌握电子信息类专业的专业词汇、术语、名词及表达;掌握电子信息类专业常用词汇,包括科技英语中常用的动词、形容词及常用表达;对其中的积极词汇在口头和书面表达时进行熟练运用。经过一年行业英语学习后,学生熟练掌

握电子信息类专业行业英语词汇大纲90%以上的词汇量。

2)语法:掌握典型的英语语法,包括电子信息类行业英语中常出现的重点语法、常用句式与结构,如被动语态、定语从句、名词从句、状语从句、否定句、数词的表达等;了解电子信息类专业英语常用的句式和语法,并能基本正确地加以运用。

2、技能目标

1)听力理解:能基本听懂日常生活用语和电子信息行业英语相关的一般性对话或陈述, 语速为每分钟120词左右。

2)口头表达:能就日常话题和与电子信息行业相关的话题进行比较有效的交谈。

3)阅读理解:能基本读懂一般题材及与电子信息相关的中等难度的英文材料,理解基本正确。在阅读生词不超过总词数3%的英文资料时,阅读速度不低于每分钟70词。能读懂常见的应用文,如信函、通知、图表、使用说明书、产品介绍、产品广告等。

4)书面表达:能就一般性话题在30分钟内写出100词左右的命题作文,能模拟套写常见的应用文,如信函、通知、个人简历等。能用英语填写表格,套写便函、简历等。

5)翻译:能借助词典将一般性题材的文字材料和与电子信息相关的一般性业务材料译成汉语。译文基本通顺正确。在翻译生词不超过总词数3%的中等难度的文字资料时,笔译速度达到每小时250个英语单词。

3、素质养成目标

通过讨论、合作等教学实践活动,锻炼学生获取、处理和使用信息的能力,提高其思维和想象的能力,培养其自主性及创新意识。不断拓宽学生的文化视野,增强对本民族文化的理解,发展跨文化交际的意识和能力。

三、设计思路

本课程以《高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求(试行)》为依据,结合"高等学校应用能力考试"要求进行教学设计,包括读写系列、听说系列、学习方法及阅读系列和自主综合训练系列,在注重基础、强调实用特点的同时,练习更加紧凑、结构更加合理,以职场交际为目标, 以应用为目的,培养学生实际应用英语的能力,是适用于高等职业教育学生的一门课程。

六、学习领域的实施建议

1.教学建议

1)教学条件

(1)学生应具有专业基础:系统的高中英语学习

(2)教师应具有专业能力:英语语言文学教育

2)教学方法:本课程在使用讲述法、阅读法、启发引导法的同时,采用行动导向教学方式,比如:案例教学法、任务驱动法等。

3)教学组织(方式):以教师精要点拨、学生自主研读的形式进行。

4)教学手段(媒介):我们制作了系列教学课件,把文字、图片、音频、视频融为一体,直观形象地展示教学内容。

2.教学评价

第一学年为考试课。

期末总成绩100分=理论笔试成绩50分+平时成绩50分

(1)理论笔试

通过闭卷考试,在考核学生英语知识的同时,着重考核学生实际运用语言的能力,占总成绩的50%;主观试题:客观试题=30:20,考试时间:每年元月和七月。

(2)平时成绩

包括:上课考勤、课后作业批改、平时测验、课堂参与、努力程度等方面成绩,综合考评,占总成绩50%。

第二学年为考查课。

期末总成绩100分=考试成绩50分+平时成绩50分

(1)考试

由任课老师根据所带专业自行命题进行考试,可灵活采取多种形式:笔试、口

试、英语演讲、用英语讲故事、小组讨论等,占总成绩50%。

(2)平时成绩

包括:上课考勤、课后作业批改、平时测验、课堂参与、努力程度等方面成绩,综合考评,占总成绩50%。

七、说明

1.本课程标准主要适用于三年制高等职业技术学院电子信息工程系专业。

2.学习情境的内容和工作任务的设计,应根据行业发展和教学需要定期修订。

3.教学时数可根据需要进行调整。
