Recently in our class we had a discussion about how to choose our courses and universities. We have different opinions about it.
Most classmates believe the choice should be based on their own interests. They say interest
is the mother of success. It is a miserable thing to have to spend most of your time studying what you have no interest in.
Some classmates insist that main consideration should be given to the needs of the society, for, they argue, not everyone can find the job they like best. Besides, interest can be developed and changed.
However, a few students prefer to follow the advice offered by their parents or teachers, because they think their parents and teachers are more experienced than themselves.
In my opinion, interest is the most important of all. Without interest, we can’t study the subject very well and may have some difficulties with our career in the future. So my choice depends on interest. (137words)

5、拼写与标点符号是语言准确性的一个方面，评分时，应视其对交际的影响程度予以考虑。英、美拼写及词汇用法均可接受。
6、如书写较差，以致影响交际，将分数降低一个档次。
