The passage mainly tells us that parents play an important part in children's growth, suggesting that no matter how busy parents are, they should spend more time staying with their children and give proper instructions.
We know it is important for children to develop good habits. So it is disappointing and sad to see same children around us showing bad habits. As far as I am concerned, :parents should be responsible for helping children developing good habits. The reasons are as follows: first, it is commonly held that parents are the first

The way people hold the belief that a fun-filled, pain-free lifestyle equals happiness actually reduces their chances of ever obtaining real happiness.
If fun and pleasure are equal to happiness，then pain must be equal to unhappiness. But in fact，the opposite is true: more often than not things that lead to happiness contain some pain.
As a result，many people avoid the very attempts that are the source of true happiness．They fear the pain inevitably (不可避免地) brought by such things as marriage，raising children，professional achievement, religious commitment, self-improvement．
Ask a bachelor why he resists marriage even though he finds dating to be less and less satisfying. If he is honest，he will tell you that he is afraid of making a commitment，for commitment is in fact quite painful. The single life is filled with fun, adventure and excitement．Marriage has such moments, but they are not its most distinguishing features.
Couples，with infant children, are lucky to get a whole night’s sleep of a three-day vacation. We don’t know any parent who would choose the word fun to describe raising children. happiness now seems pointless. And it liberates us from envy: we now understand that all those who always have so much fun actually may not be happy at all.

This article is about how the birthday celebration comes and its traditions in western countries, especially the unique ways people celebrate birthday in eastern Canada, Irish and Mexico.
I usually spend my birthday in my house and my parents usually cook a big meal for me and my friends who come to my home to celebrate my birthday. But last month, I had a very unforgettable birthday.

Do-it-yourself
“Do-it-yourself” is more and more popular in many countries because it can lower people’s living cost. There are DIY classes or books available for people to learn to become a “do-it yourself”.
In my city, “DIY” is becoming so popular that many people go to DIY classes or read some related books. I also l ove the idea of “DIY” because it can not only lower our living cost but can make us happy as well.
On Mother’s Day, I wanted to give my mother a big surprise. I cooked the meal and washed my clothes though I did them clumsily. My parents were really surprised and happy when they saw what I did. I felt happy at my parents’ praise, so I decided I would do more things by myself from then on because I believe “do-it -yourself” can give us confidence and independence, make us perform better in the future and will benefit me a lot in my life.

My Hero
The writer tells us his opinions about hero. He thinks his music teacher is his personal hero, who is always patient and tries hard to help and encourage him under any circumstances.
I suppose everyone has his own hero. And I don’t think a hero have to fight in the war or do something to help millions of lives. A hero to me is someone who will try hard to do well what he or she is supposed to do. My head teacher is my hero. She is a very nice woman. She takes good care of our study and life at school. My Adventurous Experience
When the writer was on a trip to a lake she went water-skiing alone. She was excited but later got lost on the lake. Fortunately her father finally came to her rescue.

2016高考英语任务型阅读答题技巧 任务型阅读是高考英语试题中第二卷中的一种题型，分值为10分。本题型在测试考生阅读理解能力的基础上，侧重考查考生的单词拼写、词性转换、句式转换、段落归纳等综合能力。高考任务型阅读近三年文章体裁以议论文和说明文为主，词数在400~550之间。高考成绩的统计数据表明在这一项上，考生普遍失分较多。高考英语任务型阅读是英语阅读理解和完形填空的结合体，在掌握篇章表层含义的基础之上，还要求对文章结构框架的把握。考生不但要具备基本的英语词汇知识，而且要能够依据上下文的内容，运用逻辑判断，正确填出任务型阅读中的空白处。因而，任务型阅读对考生的英语阅读和对英语学科的感悟能力要求较高。也就是说，任务型阅读不仅检查考生的词、句、篇的掌握，而且涉及考生综合运用英语语法的能力。所以说，这种题型是比较全面的考查。学生在平时的学习过程中，要关注词汇的使用，领悟篇章的内部结构，同时还要注意词的搭配和语用知识。 一、任务型阅读题型的考查角度 1、单词的大小写（信息筛选题） 考生往往从文中便可直接找到答案，无需进行词性和词形的转化。但是如果没有根据英文首字母要大写的要求，或在特殊的上下文中。忽略字母的大小写，便无法得到本应该拿到的分数。 2、词性的变化（整合转换题） 要依据特定的语境结合文中涉及的词语，灵活地转变词性。比如：动词转变为形容词，形容词转变为名词，等等。 3、词形的转化（整合转换题） 主要依据任务型阅读提供的特殊框架，来敲定词语的各种形式。例如：文中过去式需要在题目中使用现在时，同时还要注意人称和数的变化。 4、近义词与反义词的转化（整合转换题） 根据任务型阅读题型中提供的已有信息，尽管文中也能发现相关的词语，却没能依据特定的语境进行必要的词语的转
高考英语写作 一．【考查要点】 高考英语书面表达具体主要考查学生以下几种能力： 1.观察分析，获取，加工和输出信息的能力。 2.体现语法规则，并且正确熟练运用语法的能力。 3.语言交际表达得体，突出正确语用的能力。 4.关注社会现实，锤炼思维表达能力。 【解题指南】 要在短时间内写出一篇高分作文，一定要遵循一个写任何作文都可以采用的方法步骤。下文介绍书面表达解题六步骤。 1.审题 审清题意，明确要求。认真阅读书面表达试题中文字信息、图表信息，这是写好书面表达的关键。弄清楚文章应采用的体裁：记叙文、说明文、应用文等，用第几人称写作，主要的时态范畴是什么？如何开头、如何拓展、如何收尾，动笔之前都应心中有数。 2.抓要点 抓住要点，列出关键词。用一两个单词或短语写出每句的细节要点，关键的连接词、转折词等。 3．扩展成句 分析要点，扩展成句。弄清文章的主题之后，根据所列要点，运用适当的句型、时态，用联词成句的方式将关键词扩展成句。 4．连句成文 依据篇章结构，连句成文。在连句成文之前，一定要对文章的篇章结构有个合理清晰的构想：要点的先后排列顺序和语篇衔接是否得当、层次是否清楚、结构是否一目了然、主谓是否一致、开头结尾逻辑关系是否自然、意思是否表达清楚、中心是否突出。 5．查错改错 复读作文，检查修改。打完草稿后要认真检查，修改润色，避免不必要的错误。主要注意以下几个方面：①要点是否遗漏，文体格式是否正确。②时态语态是否错误，主谓是否一致。③句子结构、关联词是否恰当。④名词的数、代词的性数格、现在分词、过去分词、冠词等是否符合英语的习惯。⑤单词的拼写是否有误等。 6．规范抄写 定稿成文，规范抄写。书写一定要美观。如果无法达到这一标准。至少也应想着向这一标准看齐。阅卷老师每天要反复看同样内容的文章很多遍。如果连最基本的清晰度都没有，又如何获得高分呢？因此要留出足够时间抄写，确保卷面整洁清楚。忌：书写潦草、单词模糊不清、左右明显不齐、随意涂改、缺乏分段。 二．作文怎么判 1. 档次评分 本题总分为25分，按5个档次给分。评分时先根据文章的内容和语言初步确定其所属档次，然后以该档次的要求来衡量，确定或调整档次，最后给分。 第五档 完全完成了试题规定的任务 覆盖所有内容要点 应用了较多的语法结构和词汇 语法结构或词汇方面有些许错误，但为尽量使用复杂结构或较高级词汇所致；具备较强的语言应用能力 有效地使用了语句间的连接成分，使全文结构紧凑 完全达到了预期的写作目的 （21-25 分）

But because the younger brain is more impulsive(冲动的), the desire to feel the pleasure of the sweet treat outweighs the consequences. That is becau se when a child is young, his brain is “wired” in such a way that he seeks pleasure and is more willing to take risks than an adult.
