BEC商务英语课程教学改革初探

BEC商务英语课程教学改革初探【摘要】剑桥商务英语证书考试(bec)现在已成为求职、就业时一项重要的资格认证证书,已引领起了一波剑桥商务英语证书考试(bec)热潮。本文就大学bec商务英语课程教学现状指出了几个普遍存在的问题:学生商务知识薄弱,跨文化交际知识匮乏,口语听力能力不强等等。并由笔者自身教学经验出发,提出几点bec 商务英语教学改革的措施, 如补充商务背景知识,提高商务阅读能力,多种教学方法结合教学,合理进行课程设置,进行口语听力专项强化训练等,并指出商务英语课程教学最终目标是提高语言应用能力。

一、引言

在当今大学毕业声求职难的大环境下,现在有越来越多的大学生感觉到,要想给自己在求职过程中加分,提高自己的竞争力,手持由权威机构颁发,认证读较高的技能证书是很好的途径之一,因此也引领了一波又一波的考试热潮。在中国,已有几十万考生参加了由剑桥esol考试部推出的剑桥商务英语证书考试(bec),目前bec已成为国内第二大海外英语考试,考生人数仅次于同是由剑桥考试委员会开发的ielts(雅思)考试。近年来,bec在中国一直保持快速增长的态势,考生人数在近年内迅猛增加。bec商务英语
