(二)给妈妈洗脚

说真的这种事我还从来没做过。原因有两条,一是学习太紧张,二是难为情,也许后者一直是主要原因。

端来热水,准备好毛巾,准备就绪,但我却迟迟没能叫妈妈坐下。经过几分钟的调整,我鼓起勇气对正在厨房刷碗的妈妈说了声:“妈,你……过来一下。”声音很轻,近似耳语。

“干什么?”母亲回答到。

“妈,你坐下,我给你洗脚……”我说这话的时候感到面红耳热,呼吸加促。我低着头摆好板凳,不让母亲看到我局促的样子。

沉默……

母亲竟愣在那里,半晌才醒过神来。“好,好……”母亲赶忙答应,脸上露出会心的笑容,几道浅浅的皱纹也舒展开了。

母亲坐下,我挽了挽衣袖,捧起母亲的脚。
