(1)教师在黑板上画一座房子和一个机器人,指着机器人说:Who’s that? 学生回答:It’s Robin. 再指着房子说:Where can we find Robin? 学生回答:In the museum. 教师出示感叹句:What a great museum!

(2)教师出示一张明信片,说:"It’s a post card.Robin want to sent a post card.Where should he go?” 引出单词post office.

(3)教师出示一张地图,问学生:“Where is the post office?”出示单词:next to, near, behind.

教师利用三个例句结合图片理解next to, near, behind.

(4)在学生理解三个方位介词后,小组活动,利用方位介词描述途中各个场馆的位置。

教师让学生阅读听力题目,然后听录音独立完成内容。

(6)教师出示对话内容,请学生听录音,然后朗读对话。

(7)学生进行操练,先同桌互练,再在全班表演.

二、教学目标:

答位置的表达。

三、教学重难点:本课时的教学重点和难点是掌握四会短语和A Let's learn部分中运用方位借此表述位置。

学生复习对话,教师请学生两人一组表演朗读对话。

2. Presentation and practice(精讲点拨)

(1)教师出示Robin, 并说:Robin is a robot. Where can we find Robin? 引导学生说出单词science museum.

(2)教师出示地图,并说:Robin wants to sent a post card, it’s near the museum. Where is it? 引出单词post office.

(3)教师根据地图继续引导学生:Robin wants to buy some books, the place is next to the post office. Can you find where Robin want to go?

(4)以同样的方法教单词cinema和hospital.

(5)教师领读单词,学生小组内读单词,相互纠正发音。

1.教法设计

根据英语这门课本身的特点及六年级学生的兴趣,我通过设计具体形象的情景,以旧带新,不断滚动知识点,以此来分散教学难点,让学生直观地感知与理解。同时创设数个任务活动,从单词到短语到句子到对话到片断,使学生在师生、生生之间的多向交流中进行有意义的练习与实践,充分发挥他们的学习主体性,培养他们学习致用的能力。

2. 学法指导

引导学生通过比较、观察、猜测的方法逐渐感悟新语言项目的功能,让学生在多层次的练习中体会到学习英语时“运用”的必要性,鼓励学生积极思维,大胆尝试。

3.教学手段

根据本课的教学内容、教学目标、学生的年龄特征和心理特征,为了更好地激发学生学习兴趣,从而能积极主动参与学习。教学中运用多媒体课件、图片等教学辅助手段,置抽象的句型于一个个生动的情景、游戏之中,不仅使学习过程自然轻松,更能较好地启智开思。

(1)教师做各种动作引出所学词组,并将相应的短语写在黑板上。教师示范朗读,学生跟读.同法教授on foot,by taxi,by train, by plane,by ship,by subway. [设计意图] 找到话题与所授新知的契合点,让学生很自然地从一个话题向另一个话题过渡,从而开始了本节课traffic tools的话题。同时英语并不是仅仅是一种工具,它是能够表现出情感的。在此给学生进行安全教育

(2)看短语贴卡片游戏

[设计意图] 在课中关注学生的注意力的放松。高输入量的学习会让学生很快有疲劳的感觉,从而降低学习效率。在此环节,设计了CHANT 和一段了解性文字的阅读,就是给学生创设了一段休息的时间。然后再根据高年级学生的英语阅读能力的培养需要,适时进行一篇短文阅读。

(3)观看视频,正音理解句意

[设计意图] 检查一节课的教学效果,课外知识的拓展,丰富学生的知识面。选做题的设置,再次调动起学生的积极性。本来无望获胜的小组,此时又有了一次机会,不甘失败的心理会让他们充分发挥潜能;而本来胜利在望的小组,此时又有了危机感,让他们不敢掉以轻心。于是一场比拼实力的竞争又在无形之中展开了。他们不断调动出潜能,能于同学互帮互助,一种为本组争光的主人翁意识也

在不断膨胀中。从而形成了一个积极的参与氛围。

教师先拿出一个红色的圆纸片代表太阳,先由低到高,再由高到低缓慢地移动太阳,边移动边说:morning, noon, afternoon .然后师拿出一个月牙形的白纸片代表月亮,边移动边说evening,night .板书:evening, night .告诉学生:evening往往指下班后进入天黑及以后的一段时间,即可以举行大型公众party或活动的时段。而night 往往是深夜以后的个人或家庭活动时段。提醒学生night不能用this night, 而是tonight .

(2)教学单词:tomorrow和词组:next week

T:Today is Monday. Tomorrow is Tuesday.板书:tomorrow,让学生说说词义,全班拼读tomorrow.

教师板书:week,让学生湿度单词,告诉学生week是周的意思,补充板书成:next week,让学生试读词组,并说说意思。

说教材:本单元的一个重点句型是:“ What are you going to do…? I’m going to do…”的问答,以及复习几个动词词组:take a trip, read a magazine ,go to the cinema。

在此基础上延伸另外几个句型:(1)where are you going …? ---I am going to…(2) when are you going ?--I am going at… (3)who are you going with?—I am going with…

说重难点:

1、本单元的教学重点是运用所学动词短语对be going to …进行

说教法:

Step1:用本单元的歌曲:what are you going to do ?进行男女对唱的形式来导入本课的重点。

Step2:复习一开始,播放本单元的单词课文录音,学生合上课本跟读,以此来再现课文内容,并练习听力。

Step3:课件呈现本单元的重点词组、单词,让学生快速浏览,然后对照课件听写,然后小组评比,达到复习单词的效果。

Step4:把本单元的重点句型:what are you going to do ?以填空的形式用课件呈现出来。先师生一起复习扩展,然后同样的内容在导学案上呈现,让学生知识再现的形式复习。

Step5:布置一篇小作文:my next weekend ,让学生运用所学的句型来写不少于五句话。然后全班展示,点评。然后课件出示范文。

说教学效果:本节课听说读写都有涉及到。学生普遍参与度较高。教师在各个环节衔接自然,教学重难点突出。但是一节课40分钟,跨度太大,特别是导学案内容有难度。在作文范围涉及上不是很合理,限制了学生的思维。
