Text A 什么是电子商务

今天我们能从阿里巴巴、易趣、雅虎等各种网站购买到从日常用品到工业机械设备等各种产品。

电子商务是指通过电子媒体来进行商务活动。这意味着使用简单、快捷、低成本的电子通信手段来进行交易,交易的双方不必进行面对面的会晤。如今的电子商务主要是通过因特网和电子数据交换实现。电子商务最早是从20世纪60年代开始发展的。随着计算机的广泛使用、因特网的日益完备和广泛采用、信用卡的使用、安全交易协议的建立以及政府的支持和促进电子商务的发展日益繁荣,人们开始使用电子手段作为一种商务媒介。

一、电子商务的好处

1、由于计算机网络能够以一种迅速而廉价的方式促进信息的交换,因特网如今已经延伸到

世界的各个角落。中小型企业能够与全世界的贸易伙伴建立联系。高速网络使地理上的距离变得无关紧要。企业在传统的市场之外就可以更加容易地销售货物,探索新的市场并识别商业机会。

2、那些无力建立海外办公室或办事处的中小型企业现在可以向全世界的每个角落展示自

己。

3、企业为了增强它们自身的竞争能力,可以通过因特网收集有关产品、买主和竞争者的信

息。

4、通过因特网与顾客建立紧密的联系,以及通过昼夜24小时提供最新的产品和服务信息。

企业就能够发挥它们的竞争优势。此外,数据可以随时更新,这样就不会存在过时信息的问题了。

二、电子商务的类型

1、公司内部的电子网络:通过内部网,人们可以在内部交换和处理商务信息。

2、企业与企业间的(B2B)电子商务:在所有其它类型的电子商务中,这种通过因特网或

电子数据交换来进行电子交易的途径理应得到人们最多的关注。根据福里斯特调查公司的估计,B2B电子商务会以三倍于B2C电子商务的速度增长,因此,企业间的电子商务具有最大的增长潜力。

在1995年3月,当Jeff Bezos在美国开创了Amazaon网站的同时,马云注册了中国第一个网络公司——杭州希望网络咨询公司,它为中国的企业提供网页支持。今天,阿里巴巴把全世界的进出口商都联在了一起,每年收入达到近1百万美元。

对于马云来说,这还只是个开端,他的目标是全世界。他不仅仅将目标定在点击网站而创造6.8万亿美元的世界贸易(零售值)上,他要使买卖双方均能轻易地寻找到对方,如一位西藏的供应商能自由地与一位来自南美巴塔哥尼亚的客户联系。一位美国客户为寻购1000副网球拍可通过该网站寻找数位供应商,并可得知他们的贸易方式。阿里巴巴现拥有全球194个国家的200,000注册者,其中70%来自中国。你能通过该网站从加纳购买鱼食或从意大利购买剃须刀。根据种类和国籍该网站拥有700多种不同品种的产品,网站已拥有

3、企业与消费者之间的电子商务:企业通过因特网为消费者提供网上购物,这就使消费者

可以在网上购物和付帐,这即能节省零售商的时间也能节省消费者的时间。

4、消费者与消费者之间的电子商务:消费者可以通过代理网站将自己的产品发布在网上,

以便其他消费者竞价购买。

淘宝,ebay在中国最主要的竞争者,将兴建一个真正的室内购物中心。淘宝力求消除消费者与网上购物之间障碍。

淘宝城——真实的购物中心将在八月份正式开放,该商场面积达12,000平方米,高三层,位于上海市南京西路,由一家国营公司经营,该公司每年需支付1,250,000美元商标使用费给淘宝网。

目前淘宝网已拥有两千万会员,期望通过结合网络与非网络交易途径,向未参与网上购物的中国人推荐网上拍卖的交易模式。随着Web 2.0时代的到来,由于网上付款机制的可靠性问题,讨价还价的灵活性以及欺诈等问题的出现,中国电子商务的速度已经逐渐放慢。

实现。为公众提供电子服务不仅能为公民提供节省时间,提供高质量的服务,还能提高效率和节约成本。此外,这种举动还能够促进电子商务的发展。

购买产品和服务。

总之,电子商务将成为未来商务的希望,许多“传统”的商务公司已经开始成功地施行网络化的策略,电子商务将随着技术的进步取得更大的发展。

Text B 企业间电子商务的一个案例

---------通用电气公司的采购改革

尽管电子商务包括B2B、B2C、C2B等,但越来越多的人认为B2B才是最具希望的电子商务形式。当全球B2C电子商务预计从1998年78亿美元到2003年的1080亿美元,而B2B却从430亿美元增长到1.4万亿美元。那就是为什么B2B的电子商务现在已经成为全球经济世界的焦点。

以下是一个B2B案例,通用电气公司是如何改革公司的采购程序的。

在1982年到1992年期间,通用电气公司的材料成本增加了16%,然而,公司的产品价格却在几年之内保持基本不变,而后还开始下调。为了应对成本的增长,通用电气公司竭尽全力来提高它的采购系统。公司分析了其采购过程,结果发现采购的效率很低,采购要进行的交易次数太多,而且公司不能利用采购量大的特点来得到最低的价格。此外,在每年的125万张发票中有超过1/4的发票需要被重复处理,这是因为采购订货单、收据和发票不相符。

通用电气公司采取了一系列的步骤来提高其采购系统,而最近的一次改革就涉及到因特网。通用电气公司的照明设备工厂以前每天都要向公司的原料部门发送几百封询价信,目的是采购低值机器零件。原料部门对于每一次询价,都要向仓库领要相应的设计图,从卷宗中把图纸找到,送到进行处理的地方,复印并折叠好,与带有价格单的需求表单一起,塞到信封中邮寄出去。这个过程至少要花7天时间,如此复杂而耗时,以至于原料部门通常一次只能向2-3个供应商发出招标邮件。

一、通用电气照明设备分公司的交易处理网络

1996年,通用电气照明设备分公司开始试用公司的第一个在线采购系统,即交易处理网络通告系统。现在,原料部门通过电子方式接受来自内部客户的采购需求,并能够通过因

特网向全世界的供货商发放招标文件。系统自动地找到正确的图纸,把图纸与电子询价表单相连。在原料部门开始处理的2小时之内,供货商就能通过电子邮件、传真或电子数据交换(EDI)得到新近的询价单,系统给供应商7天的时间去准备投标,并将投标书通过通用电气照明设备分公司的外联网送回。投标书通过内联网传送到适当的评估者,签订合同也可以通过同样的方法来进行。

二、交易处理网络的优点

通过使用交易处理网络,通用电气公司认识到这个系统具有以下的优点:

1.采购过程中所需的劳动力减少了30%。同时,由于能够通过网络与更加广泛的供货商进行联系,使原料成本降低了5%-20%。

2.在采购过程中需要的员工,已经有60%得到了重新安置。原料部门每个月至少有6-8天空余时间,可以集中于战略性的活动,而不是像过去手工处理时忙于文书、复印和塞信封的工作了。

3.以前要花18-23天来鉴别供货商、准备招标要求、进行价格谈判以及与供货商签订合同,现在只要花9-11天时间了。

4.由于交易的处理从头到尾都是电子的,发票会自动与采购合同保持一致,能够反映整个过程中所做的任何修改。

III.企业间电子商务的特点

8.竞争者信息——标杆比较、竞争产品和定价、推广信息;

10.供应链过程和绩效信息——过程描述、绩效考评、质量、送货时间、客户满意度。

因此,B2B电子商务能帮助消除市场地域的障碍,使买方寻求到新的供应商和更好的产品,使卖方能寻觅新的买家。B2B还能帮助减少买卖双方不必要的库存。而买方缺乏生

产规划的信息将直接导致卖方库存,同时,寻求其他的供应商的困难致使买方形成库存。而B2B提高了信息流,增加了透明度,产-销链管理成为现实。另外,买卖双方都十分乐意减少订购程序成本和双方联系成本。

This is particularly true in international business since it is mostly through negotiation that exporters and importers iron out their differences and reach a satisfactory, fair and mutually benefit deal. Thus, negotiation is one of the important steps taken towards completing import and export trade agreements. Foreign trade negotiation is a consultative process between governments, trade organizations, MNCS, private business firms and buyers and sellers in relation to investment and import and export of products, machinery and equipments and technology. In international trade, it is fairly important for the participants to know negotiation principles and tactics in order to arrive at an agreement successfully. There are generally two basic principles in foreign trade negotiations. First, negotiators should know well their own situation and that of the counterpart and thus not be willfully manipulated by them. Second, negotiators should express their expected purpose definitely and take a firm stand in the negotiation. Price is usually the most sensitive issue in business negotiations because it directly concerns the economic benefits to both sides. Therefore, this subject should usually be postponed until all of the other aspects have been discussed and agree upon. Generally speaking, you begin negotiating at a bit higher price than you really expected and lower it a little each time. Each time you cut the price, you should remain serious about the desired results. Under this situation, your counterpart may well accept your quotation as the best possible price. In short, the end of negotiation is to reach an agreement to the mutual advantage of the two parties. Negotiators should try their best to use soft and euphemistical words, speak appropriately and tactically, and create a harmonious atmosphere in negotiation.
