Good afternoon, everyone. It’s my great pleasure to be here to share my lesson with you. I hope you will enjoy it. My topic is Lesson 15: Making a Difference. It is from Unit 3, book 2, published by Hebei Education Press. I divide my speech into four parts: the teaching material, the teaching and learning methods, the teaching procedures and the blackboard design.
I. Now I will talk about the teaching material：
First, I’d like to talk about the teaching aims.
The knowledge aims:1.Master the key words in this lesson:difference,village,myself,possible,future

The ability aim: Develop students’abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing, especially their speaking ability. I also pay attention to the students’ability of cooperation.

Second, let’s come to the important and difficult points of this lesson.
As for the important point, I’d like to help my students to get the meaning and structure of this lesson, and Get the students remember the key phrases in this lesson,Recite the text and frequency adverb：always, often, usually, sometimes, never
As for the difficult point, I’d like to help them to talk about how to make a difference in their life.
II. Part 2 is something about the teaching and learning methods According to the new standard curriculum, I always make a student-centered class. I will choose Task-based teaching,Emotional Intelligence Method and Speaking,especially the speaking .I ’ll try to encourage my students to use English actively.
III. The teaching procedures:
Step 1. Lead-in
I will begin my class with the free talk :1.Do you think you have a happy life? Why?
2. But do you know some children cannot go to school because they are poor? I can show the picture and lead them to say the title Lesson 15: Making a Difference.
Step 2.Read the words and expressions loudly.
Step 3Lead the students to understand the title .In this part, I’d like
to show them some great people and some common people . I will make them know what is make a difference.And I let them talk about their ambitions.
Step 4.Listen to the text, try to answer the questions.
Step 5.Reading
Read the lesson and fill in the table.Here I design 4 groups to fill in the chart and find out the topic sentence .
Step 6. Group discussion and Summary
Here I design two questions and give them some useful expressions to help them express.

While teaching, I will use a mind map to show the structure of the text so that the students can have a better understanding of the text.
