从题目内容来看，依然注重考查考生的实用能力和交际能力，具体考查包括：理解主旨要义；获取事实性的具体信息；对所听内容作出简单推断；理解说话者的意图、观点或态度等。

难度与2010年持平。

短对话短对话需要学生掌握基本场景语言及对话信息的把握，听取信息题型注重一些基本单词的把握。

由于短对话只提供一遍听力录音，且考生刚刚进入考试状态，可能心里上会觉得紧张听不懂，但由于中文讲解题目时间较长，相对来说学生是有足够的时间浏览题目，进行标记，总体来讲，短对话难度不大，涉及话剧娱乐，计划出游，约定时间等日常话题。
