英语儿歌的种类和作用:

英语儿歌的种类很多,英语儿歌大致可以分为:节奏性儿歌。表演性儿歌、游戏性儿歌。这些儿歌为我们在英语教学中进行仿编和创编提供了很重要的参考。它符合幼儿的心理,幼儿乐于诵唱,容易记忆。

1.节奏性儿歌节奏性儿歌突出节奏,通过节奏的变化和拍手或踏脚等来表现声音的强弱,表现儿歌的美感。例如,儿歌“Potato”:

One potato,two potatoes,three potatoes,four; Five potatoes,six potatoes,seven potatoes,more; Eight potatoes,nine potatoes,here are ten. Now,let’s count over again!

在有节奏的拍手说唱数数中,幼儿会很快地进入角色,按着拍手节奏继续编唱,通过这首有节奏的儿歌教学,真正培养了幼儿的观察能力、思维能力和创新精神。不但使幼儿很快记住了数字的发音,而且也对蔬菜的英文单词进行了复习。

2.游戏性儿歌游戏性的儿歌是配合游戏活动的儿歌,它一般伴随幼儿游戏动作而吟唱,能激发幼儿的游戏兴趣和愉悦感,是整个游戏富有节奏感,从而提高了游戏的兴趣。如:“One two three”: One two three,walk,walk,walk.

One two three,run,run,run.

One two three,jump,jump,jump.

One two three,stop,stop,stop.

幼儿通过模仿各种动物的动作完成了游戏,在愉悦的活动中学会了相关的动作。

游戏性儿歌还包括回答儿歌、手指儿歌、谜语儿歌等种类。

3.表演性儿歌表演性儿歌是要求既有节奏,又能够适合表演的儿歌,强调以肢体动作表现儿歌的内容,这种儿歌充分运用了幼儿活泼好动的特点,让幼儿在肢体伸展的同时,自然地开口说唱,快乐地接受英语。例如下列儿歌“Two little dickey birds”: Two little dickey birds sitting on the wall.(伸出两只大拇指)

One named Peter, one named Paul.(分别展示两个大拇指)

Fly away Peter, fly away Paul.(手指分别先后藏入身后)

Come back Peter, come back Paul.(大拇指再分别露出)

双语儿歌教学方法:

1.动作表演法把儿歌的内容用体态动作或表情表现出来,即边说边唱边做动作,例如下面这个童谣“I am a little teapot”(我是一个小茶壶):

I’m a little teapot short and stout.(身体作为茶壶,首座矮矮胖胖的动作)

Here is my handle, here is my spout.(一只手做茶壶嘴,一只手做茶壶柄)

When I get all steamed up, here me shout.(做好动作转个圈)

Tip me over and pour me out.(侧弯腰做倒水状)又如Chant: Teddy Bear

Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear. Touch the sky.(手向上触摸)

Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear. Touch your toe.(碰碰自己的脚趾头)运用肢体语言能调动幼儿的多种感官,对于低幼年龄的与幼儿是非常有吸引力的,也十分易于理解。在活动中教师可以先示范,边读边展示肢体语言,帮助幼儿裂解童谣的内容。

2.图片演示法这种方法主要是以图片的创设英语的情景形式介绍或表达儿歌内容的方法。幼儿通过边看图,边听录音,理解其中的中心内容,同时感受其中的韵律节奏,图片是揭示词语意义的重要手段。利用图片展示儿歌中的重要内容不仅能防止过分依赖于用汉语释意,更能培养幼儿在英语语境中直接理解和掌握儿歌中主要内容的意义咯用法。例如儿歌“Five little monkeys”(5只小猴子):

(一张大床的图片以及5只可移动的小猴图片,医生以及猴妈妈打电话的图片。)

Five(数字在每念一遍就可以减少一个)little monkeys jumping on the bed,

在这首儿歌中,通过大图片和小猴子数量的改变,让幼儿直观地感受儿歌的幽默和有趣,这个方法也是我们进行英语教学时经常用的一种重要手段,它很直观,特别是那些颜色鲜艳,画面清楚,生动活泼的图片有利于幼儿的形象思维,又能引起他们的兴趣。充分利用图片创设情境是在英语教学中最重要和常用的一种方法。

3.情境游戏法通过游戏的方法将儿歌的内容融入进去,运用手势、肢体以及简单的游戏等形式,让儿歌变得更有趣。如果运通得当,可以丰富幼儿的听觉经验,使英语学习充满惊奇与愉悦,塑造一个生动活泼的英语情景的环境,例如:“Four bears”:One bear,two bears,three bears,four.

Two can jump,and two can walk.

Two look big,and two look small.

But all of them eat more and more.

(根据歌曲中不同衣服颜色的变化,幼儿听辨,然后作出相应的反应,自己的衣服是什么颜色就在哪句歌词中站出来。)其实情景游戏法中还有很多不同的方法来进行童谣的表达,其中举例了三种比较常见的游戏法。

(1)运动游戏:运动游戏是配合运动中的儿歌,他伴随着幼儿的游戏动作而吟唱,能够激发和加强幼儿运动游戏的兴趣和愉悦感。儿歌边玩边唱,使整个游戏富有节奏感,从而提高游戏的兴趣,丰富游戏的内容。游戏歌的种类颇多,有的是配合幼儿的体育游戏。例如儿歌“One little body”:

Two little hands clap,clap,clap.Two little feet stamp,stamp,stamp.Two little hands wave,wave,wave.Two little feet jump,jump,jump.One little body turns around.Every body sits down.(幼儿边念儿歌边做身体动作)

(2)数数歌:数数歌是一种着眼于培养幼儿数概念的儿歌。它把初步的数学概念和具体可感的形象以及英语的节奏预感结合起来,能激发幼儿积极的思维,有效培养幼儿对英语数学的认识。数数歌中有的是帮助幼儿认识数字和掌握最基本的数的序列,例如儿歌“One,two,three,four,five”:

One,two,three,four,five. Once I caught a fish

alive;

Six,seven,eight,nine,ten. Then I let it go again.

Why did you let it go? Because it bit my finger so.

Which finger did it bite?This little finger on the right.

还有的是着重于训练幼儿简单的计算能力,如边说唱边算,起到了训练幼儿思维敏捷、语言准确的作用。(3)问答歌:这种英语儿歌的特点是以设问作答形式表达内容,可以一问一答,也可以多问多答。这类问答形式活泼、句式简单,便于幼儿自编自答。问答歌适合于表达事物的特征,有助于幼儿分辨事物和现象,启发思考,培养观察力。例如儿歌“What does it say?”:

The hen has a chick. What does it say?

Cheep,cheep,cheep. All the day.

The duck has a duckling. What does it say? Quack,quack,quack. All the day.

The cat has a kitten. What does it say? Meow,meow,meow. All the day. The snail has a baby. What does it say?

It doesn’t say anything. All the day.

4.多媒体演示法这是与先进的数学手段相结合的一种方法,这样的方法,综合了图片演示和情景游戏等,让幼儿的感受更加立体化,有互动与直接的游戏性。例如儿歌“Spring is coming”:The Seed is growing. The Flower is blooming. The Tree is greening. We are singing. We are dancing. Spring is coming.

通过多媒体对于春天的展示,是幼儿形象地对儿歌更易于接受和理解。

5.简笔提示法就是用简单的线条勾画儿歌中的内容,语言生动形象地说明简单图画。借助于这些简单的图形提示,把幼儿引入儿歌的情景或其中的情节之中,有一点如同夹文的故事,这样使幼儿有身临其境之感,唤起幼儿的注意和情趣,做到动与静的互相转化,进一步地调动幼儿的积极性。例如儿歌“Five little firemen”:

Five little firemen,standing in a row. One,two,three,four,five, they all go.(5个站在一起的消防员排成一队,数字1、2、3、4、5个消防

员齐步走。)

6.改编儿歌明快的节奏、抑扬顿挫的语调、形象生动的语言能调动幼儿的多种感官。在幼儿熟悉儿歌之后,让他们改编所学的儿歌,幼儿在“旧药换新汤”的活动中,丰富了想象力,不知不觉的提高了应用英语的能力,例如儿歌“Teddy Bear”(泰迪熊):Teddy Bear,Teddy Bear,turn around.

这首儿歌就是在每句的后面变化不同的动作,如:转圈、碰碰地板等。可以根据本班幼儿对于不同动作的熟悉程度来改变童谣中的动作。

7.手指儿歌在情景游戏法中也占了一定的比例,通过手指或首部的不同组合动作,使得儿歌充满了节奏、童趣。例如儿歌“Magic finger”:

Mother-finger, fore-finger, it’s a gun, bang, bang.(大拇指和食指做手枪状)

Mother-finger, little-finger, it’s a telephone, hello, hello.(大拇指和小指做电话状)
