Last month,my classmates and I participated in the activity themed “Pride of China”in our school.
In one class meeting,after our teacher informed us of this activity,we had a discussion on the topic.In the end,my idea to show the history of Chinese characters stood out.
We started by learning more about the topic.Firstly,we visited the museum to
learn about the origin and evolution of Chinese characters.We also consulted our teacher,who explained to us how they came into being.The next step was to make the display board.With our joint efforts,we successfully made an informative and attractive one.
On the day when the exhibition“Pride of China”was held in our school,I introduced the charm of Chinese characters with great pride,which was well received with applauses.I am glad that we did our bit in providing the students with a chance to appreciate the achievements of ancient and modern China.
