写一篇文章描述你最喜欢的旅行英语作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Most Awesome Adventure - A Visit to Yellowstone National ParkHooray, it was finally summer vacation! No more teachers, no more books for a whole three months. My parents had promised me a super cool family trip this year to celebrate the end of fifth grade. When they told me we were going to Yellowstone National Park, I was so psyched. I had seen pictures of the bright colored hot springs and geysers shooting water way up into the air. It looked like a real life adventure land!We loaded up the car with tons of snacks, games for the drive, and my stuffed bear Teddy who comes along on all our trips. The drive from Denver to Yellowstone took forever - we were in the car for what felt like days. My little brother kept asking "Are we there yet??" until Mom and Dad banned him from saying those words. I passed the time by playing road games, listening to music, and looking for wildlife out the windows. Wesaw a huge buffalo standing right next to the road at one point - you could tell he was the boss of the area. Finally, after driving through miles of mountains and forests, we arrived at Yellowstone's west entrance. The park ranger at the gate gave us a big map and circled all the main attractions we should visit - Old Faithful geyser, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, the Mud Volcano area, and Mammoth Hot Springs. Our first stop was the Old Faithful Inn, a massive log cabin hotel right next to famous Old Faithful geyser. We staked out a spot in the viewing area and waited for Old Faithful to erupt.Right on schedule, the ground started rumbling and bubbling. Then with an enormous roar, thousands of gallons of boiling hot water blasted out of the ground like a rocket! The column of steaming water seemed to rise higher and higher into the sky before finally arching over and raining back down to earth in a million drops. It was absolutely jaw-dropping and unlike anything I'd ever seen before. All the people around me clapped and cheered as the eruption kept going for several minutes. Watching that much raw power and force of nature erupt right in front of my eyes was just mind-blowing. I couldn't wait to see what other amazing geysers and geothermal features were in store.Over the next few days, we explored boardwalk trails winding through otherworldly landscapes full of bubbling mud pots, hissing fumaroles, and pools of rainbowcolored hot springs in dazzling shades of blue, red, orange, and yellow. At the Grand Prismatic Spring, the waters swirled in vibrant rings of bright yellows, reds, and greens caused by different types of bacteria. It looked like something you'd see on another planet! I had never seen so many strange, unique colors all smooshed together in one place.Coming around one bend there was a powerful, rotten egg smell that made our whole family cover our noses. "Phew, what's that horrible stench?" my brother cried out. The ranger explained that the smell came from sulfuric gases rising from underground. We had reached the Mud Volcano area where hot, acidic steam has turned the soil into a thick, bubbling "mudpie." I stared in wonder at the gurgling, popping paint pots of thick mud that looked ready to gobble me up if I fell in! No thanks, I didn't feel like being mud boy.Another day we hiked down into the massive Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River. I couldn't believe a quiet stream could have carved out such gigantic, rainbow-colored cliffs and rock formations over millions of year. The beautiful canyon remindedme of pictures I'd seen of the Grand Canyon, but the colors were even crazier with reds, yellows, greens, and oranges all mixed together like a painter's palette. We watched the Yellowstone River rapids rushing far below us and spotted ducks splashing around in the calmer pools. From the canyon rim, we could see all the way across the vast openness of Hayden Valley, where herds of bison roamed the grassy meadows. Yellowstone was like getting multiple amazing parks all smooshed into one!On the last day of our trip, we visited the eerie, ghostly landscape of Mammoth Hot Springs. Huge cream-colored terraces of Rocky Mountains rose up like a giant's glass castle, with steaming pools and mineral-coated waterfalls trickling down every tier. After walking the easy trails around the formations, we stopped at the Albright Visitor Center to learn more about Yellowstone's history and wildlife. Inside were dioramas and displays explaining how the park was one of the first areas purposely protected for its natural wonders and resources. There were also taxidermy animals like elk, grizzly bears, and wolves so you could see them up close (but not too close in real life!). I especially liked the wolf displays since learning about the reintroduction of wolves into Yellowstone. Our visit ended with a stop at the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center just outside the park in West Yellowstone, Montana. This amazing non-profit center takes in orphaned grizzly bears and wolves that can't survive on their own in the wild and gives them a big habitat area to live in. From a raised viewing area, we watched the giant grizzly bears wrestle, play in the water, and forage for food just like they would in their natural environments. In another enclosure, a pack of gray wolves trotted around, chasing each other and howling in spine-tingling unity. I had never seen such powerfully built animals up close before - you could feel their raw, wild energy andstrength. That night as we drove away from Yellowstone, I looked back over my shoulder at the mountains fading into the twilight. I had experienced so many out-of-this-world sights and adventures over the past week. Who knew there was a real life land of exploding geysers, rainbow springs, muddy volcanoes, andgrand colorful canyons all in one magical national park? Yellowstone had turned out to be an awesome, out-of-this-world trip that I would never forget. Maybe when I grew up, I could become a park ranger and help others discover all its wonders too. Thanks Mom and Dad for the most epic, crater-iffic summer vacation ever!篇2My Awesome Trip to the Grand CanyonLast summer, my family took the most amazing vacation ever! We went to the Grand Canyon in Arizona. I had learned a little bit about the Grand Canyon in school, but I was so excited to see it in real life. It was even better than I imagined! The drive from our house to the Grand Canyon took forever. We left really early in the morning when it was still dark out. I tried to sleep in the car, but I was too excited. After what felt like days and days of driving, we finally made it!When we first got to the Grand Canyon, we stopped at an outlook point on the south rim. We all piled out of the car and walked over to the edge. That's when I saw it for the first time - it took my breath away! The Grand Canyon is so enormous, you can't even believe it's real. It looked like a giant hole in the ground, but a beautiful one filled with layers and layers of red and orange rock. It seemed to stretch on forever in both directions as far as I could see.We took a little hike along the rim trail so we could get different views of the canyon from various outlook points. At each new spot, the canyon looked completely different and justas incredible as the last viewpoint. The colors of the rocks changed in the changing light too. My dad told me the Grand Canyon was carved out over millions of years by the Colorado River. It's hard to imagine that a river did all of that! After hiking a few miles and seeing the canyon from so many angles, we stopped for a picnic lunch. We had sandwiches, chips, fruit, and cookies. The fresh air and amazing views made everything taste better. A cute little ground squirrel even came up looking for crumbs near our blanket! The next day, we got up bright and early again to hike down into the canyon itself. The park ranger said we were really brave to do that because it's an extremely difficult hike. We had to follow a trail full of rocky switchbacks that zigzagged all the way down to the bottom. It took us a few hours, but it was so worth it!When we reached the canyon floor, I couldn't believe we were actually standing in the Grand Canyon. We felt tiny compared to the towering rocky walls all around us. The views from inside were even crazier looking up than looking down from the rim. We hiked a little farther and spent some time exploring before heading back up later that afternoon.Going back up was a million times harder than going down. My legs felt like jelly and I was dripping with sweat by the time we reached the top again. But I didn't even care because I was just so proud that our family did such a tough hike together. We celebrated with big ice cream sundaes that night! On our last day, we decided to take it easy and go on one of the tours down the canyon on mules. That was a lot of fun too! The mules could easily walk along the rocky trails while we sat on their backs and enjoyed the amazing scenery. Our guide stopped a few times to tell us all about the history and geology of the different rock layers. He pointed out some ruins from an ancient Native American tribe too. After the mule ride, we visited one of the viewpoints to watch the sunset over the Grand Canyon. The colors were incredible - bright oranges and reds with streaks of purple and pink. We took about a million pictures, but I don't think any of them could truly capture how beautiful it looked in real life. Seeing a sunset over the Grand Canyon has to be one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced.I was so sad when we had to leave the Grand Canyon and head home. It was definitely the best family vacation ever. We spent an entire week there, but I wish we could have stayed evenlonger. I learned so much about geology, history, and nature. Most importantly though, our trip to the Grand Canyon gave me memories with my family that I'll never forget. I can't wait to go back again someday when I'm older and can hike down to the very bottom. The Grand Canyon is just so awesome!篇3My Incredible Adventure to the Grand CanyonI had been looking forward to our family vacation all year long! My parents promised we were going somewhere really special and amazing. When they finally told me and my little brother that we were going to the Grand Canyon, I could hardly believe it. The Grand Canyon is one of the most amazing natural wonders in the entire world! The day finally came for us to go on our big adventure. We woke up早and got ready for a very long car ride. My mom packed tons of snacks and activities to keep us busy. I looked out the window as we drove mile after mile across the flat desert landscape. I couldn't wait to see the huge canyon that I had learned about in school. After what felt like forever, I started noticing the ground getting more hilly. "We must be getting close!" I thoughtexcitedly. Then, there it was - the Grand Canyon! My jaw dropped open as I stared out at the enormous crack in the earth before my eyes. It was grander and more amazing than I could have ever imagined. The Canyon's massive size was hard for my brain to fully comprehend. It stretched as far as I could see in every direction. The layers of red, orange, and cream colored rock made crazy cool patterns and formations. Some parts looked like castle turrets or elephant trunks or giant forever waterfalls frozen in stone. I couldn't believe something so magnificent could be formed just by nature and time.We drove along the rim for a while, stopping at all the best viewpoints to take pictures and just stare in awe. Every view seemed more breathtaking than the last one. We decided to go for a little hike partway into the canyon so we could get a closer look. The trail went back and forth, zig-zagging closer to the bottom. The deeper we went, the more cramped and towering the massive rock walls felt closing in around us. It was like being tiny little bugs exploring the cracked, dry creek beds between giant rusty skyscrapers! My legs started to feel like jelly after descending so many switchbacks, but I didn't want to quit. We finally made it to a point where we could see the powdery beige canyon floor stretch out in front of us. It looked like another planet down there! We saw little squiggles that were actually the Colorado River winding its way along the bottom of the vast chasm. After resting for a bit, we had to start the long hike back up to the rim. Going up was even harder work, but we took lots of breaks to catch our breath. When we at last emerged back at the top, the canyon looked just as ginormous and immense as it had before we went down. I felt so small compared to that gargantuan natural wonder.Over the next few days, we explored as much of the Grand Canyon as we could. We visited amazing viewpoints to see it at different times of day, from sunrise to sunset. We saw the striped rock walls turn golden hours then deep red depending on how the sun hit them. I decided my favorite view was at Cape Royal on the north rim, where we could look all the way across the vast canyon to the south rim on the other side. That night back at our cabin, I fell asleep dreaming of hiking and rock climbing down those towering cliffs. On our last day there, we went on one final breathtaking hike along the rim trail. A thunderstorm rolled in, covering the canyon with dark clouds. All of a sudden, the cloudy skies opened up and dumped heavy rain down into the depths of the abyss. Waterfalls magically started appearing everywhere, cascading down the red cliff sides like out of nowhere! It was incredible to witness so much water suddenly appearing in such a dry, parched place. The whole scene looked like something from another planet. After getting drenched, we headed back to the car and started the long journey home. My eyes stayed glued to the window, watching the canyon slowly disappear into the distance.I felt so grateful to have witnessed such an amazing natural spectacle with my own eyes. The memories of the Grand Canyon's astounding size, colors, and landscapes will stick with me forever. It was an experience I will never, ever forget.。
Traveling has always been a passion of mine, and I have had the privilege to visit many places, each with its own unique charm and allure. However, there is one trip that stands out above the rest, a journey that captured my heart and left an indelible mark on my soul. It was the summer of my sophomore year when I embarked on a trip to the breathtaking landscapes of Yunnan Province in China. The trip began with a flight to Kunming, known as the City of Eternal Spring due to its pleasant weather yearround. As soon as I stepped out of the airport, the crisp air and the vibrant city life welcomed me with open arms. The first thing I noticed was the diversity of the people. Yunnan is home to numerous ethnic groups, each with their own rich culture and traditions. The warm smiles and friendly greetings from the locals instantly made me feel at home. The next day, we set off for the Stone Forest, a natural wonder that has been shaped by centuries of erosion. Towering limestone formations stood like sentinels, each with its own story to tell. As I walked through the mazelike paths, I was in awe of the grandeur and the silence that enveloped the area. The suns rays filtered through the gaps between the rocks, casting a magical glow that seemed to bring the stones to life. From there, we journeyed to Dali, a city nestled between the Cangshan Mountains and the Erhai Lake. The old town of Dali is a treasure trove of history and culture. Ancient buildings with intricate wood carvings and traditional Bai architecture lined the streets. I spent hours exploring the markets, where I marveled at the colorful textiles, handcrafted silverjewelry, and the intoxicating aroma of local delicacies. One of the highlights of the trip was a visit to the ShangriLa, a place that has long been associated with a mythical utopia. The pristine landscapes, with its lush meadows, crystalclear lakes, and snowcapped mountains, took my breath away. I felt a profound connection to nature as I stood amidst this untouched beauty. The locals, predominantly Tibetan, welcomed us with warm butter tea and shared stories of their nomadic lifestyle and deep spiritual beliefs. The trip wouldnt be complete without a visit to the Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the deepest gorges in the world. The roaring Yangtze River, as it carves its way through the towering mountains, is a sight to behold. The sheer power and majesty of the river left me in awe and humbled by the forces of nature.Throughout the trip, I was struck by the kindness and hospitality of the people I met. From the friendly hotel staff who went out of their way to make us comfortable, to the local guides who shared their knowledge and love for their land, every encounter was a heartwarming experience. This trip to Yunnan was more than just a travel experience it was a journey of discovery and selfreflection. It taught me to appreciate the beauty of diversity, the power of nature, and the warmth of human connections. The memories of the stunning landscapes, the rich cultural experiences, and the unforgettable moments with the people I met will forever be etched in my heart. As I look back on this trip, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to have explored such a magical place. It has inspired me to continue seeking out new adventures and to cherish the beauty and wonder that our world has to offer. The journey to Yunnan was truly a trip of a lifetime, one that I will cherish and remember always.。

The ancient said the world is a book and those who do not travel read only
one page. I like travel, because travel not only allows me to enjoy the great
rivers and mountains of the motherland, but also brings me knowledge and
exercise. Beautiful sceneries make me impressed and friendly people make me
warm. Travel is a process of discovery of beauty that would company my whole
life. I like the feeling on the road, which greatly enrich my life and fields
of vision. Being to different places, seeing different views makes me know how
big the world is, so that I won’t bother my trifles. I think a broad mind is
extremely important to a person, and traveling is a good way to get it. Maybe
some people would say that I travel just because I want to relax. There’s no
doubt about that. No matter for what reason, traveling is attractive to us all.
