茹荷镇初级中学齐爱军

要学好一种语言,词汇是关键。掌握一定量的词汇有助于提高听说读写能力。词汇教学时英语教学的重要组成部分。有些学生因为记不住单词而失去了对英语的学习兴趣。因此,在课堂上我们要进行词汇的有效课堂教学。下面我从以下几个方面来展开话题。

一.说课标

英语课程标准对五级词汇教学提出了明确的要求:了解英语词汇,包括单词,词组,习惯用语和固定搭配形式。理解和领悟词语的基本含义及在特定语境中的意义,运用词汇描述事物,行为和特征,说明概念等。学会使用下列单词和短语:have a great time organize take away clean-up flower agent around the world make a living against charity chance all the time injured sincerely lawyer tonight mobile phone

二.说问题

1.八年级词汇量增加,教材突出音标教学,对学生语音能力要

求很高。

2.学生基础差别也很大,有的学生小学底子薄,无形中学习词

汇困难。也有的学生记忆单词死记硬背,这种被动的记忆方

法不会印象深刻,甚至会挫伤孩子学习单词的积极性。

3.教师在词汇教学方面方法单调,不能激发学生学习的积极

性。这会造成理解和记忆负担过重,不利于发展学生的语言

运用能力。

三.说建议

1.利用实物和图片记忆单词。

2.注重语音教学,提高学生拼读能力。

3.在游戏中学习单词。

4.运用联想来进行词汇教学。

5.指导学生记忆策略,变被动为主动。

总之,老师在词汇教学上注意方法的多样性,调动学生的积极性。

四.说教学过程

(一)热身活动(包括组织教学与复习)

1.师生之间打招呼

2. 以优美的曲子进入新的词汇教学。

(二)呈现与操练

1.第一组flower, agent, charity ,injured ,lawyer , mobile phone用词卡展示生词并领读。对单词进行听说认读的操练。

2.第二组against, chance, sincerely, tonight 使用“寻宝”游戏学习生词。使用“快听快指”和“快听快说”的方式操练。对单词进行听说认读的操练。

3.把10张单词卡片编号练习,根据汉语意思说单词,根据单词说汉语意思。

4.通过Let’s do 巩固词汇。

5. 词组have a great time ,take away ,around the world ,make a living, all the time 的教学。本着在句子中学习这些词组的原则,完成对这些词组的学习。不要忘了适当的拓展, 比如,have a great time =have a good time =enjoy oneself =play happily =have fun around the world = all over the world make a living by doing sth. all the time=always

(三)练习

充分利用多媒体教学,调动每个孩子学习单词的兴趣,把本课单词呈现在句子中,在用中学,学中用。

(四)结束教学

在同学们的个人展示和竞赛中,结束本节课。

小学英语词汇“音、形、义、用”教学方法《英语课程标准》提出: 要改变课程过于注重知识传授的倾向, 强调形成积极主动的学习态度, 使获得基础知识与基本技能的过程, 同时成为学会学习和形成正确价值观的过程。俗话说:授之以鱼, 不如授之以渔。随着英语教学的不断深入, 学习的初期阶段( 三、四年级) 单词简单的跟读和模仿的方法已不能满足教学和学生发展的需要, 而应教给学生一些记忆方法, 让学生自主记单词。 一、直观教学法 通过实物、图片、手势、动作、表情等使学生建立形象思维,这种教学手段可大大提高记忆效果。 1. 活用实物。课堂上借助实物辅助教学,学习单词。如我教classroom, desk, chair, window, blackboard等这些单词时,就让学生看实物来学单词。对于其它的新授内容,教师也可以提前准备一些实物,可以是真实的,也可以是自制的,把他们带到课堂上来学习单词,如教学动物类单词时,我们可以自制头饰,让学生戴上头饰来学习单词,慢慢的,他们就会养成看见学过的实物就会用英语表达的习惯,积累更多的词汇。 2. 利用图片、简笔画、课件等多媒体手段进行词汇教学。对于那些不便于通过实物来进行教学的词汇,我们可以把所要教授的单词,利用各种各样的图片来引入。如我在教授bee, dog, butterfly, cat, bird, monkey这些新授单词时,我就把这些单词做成了各种各样的动物图片,同学们一见到这些可爱的动物,都目不转睛的盯着,

看着图片教授新单词,轻易地将词汇的意、形、义呈现给学生,提高了学习效率。 3. 借助手势、动作或表情进行教学。英语中有许多动词,我们可通过手势、动作、表情,使学生易于领会。如:sing 、run、jump、swim等,教师可以边做动作边说出英语单词;也可以请一些英语较好、领悟能力较强的学生按教师所示做动作,如:run-He is running; jump-He is jumping等等,教师并将动词及相关句型板书,带领学生操练熟悉词汇。 4、妙用儿歌。歌曲的安排,可根据教学内容而定,因为小学生好动,好表演,可以让他们在唱起来的同时动起来,演起来。如在学了5个动词walk,jump, swim, fly, run后,我把所学的单词编成儿歌 Look at the elephant, What' s it doing? 符合发音规则的,先分音节逐步出示,如“piano”,把英语单词的拼写和读音作为一个整体来教学,基本可以根据其拼写形式读出其音;反过来,听到单词的发音,就能够根据其读音拼写出这个单词来。记住了词形,也就记住了词音,记住了词音也就等于记住了这个词的拼写,比传统的拼音死记法要强,记得快,也记得牢。 (二)复合词 一些复合词可以把它拆成几部分来记。例如,在教学“football”时,可以把它拆分为“foot”与“ball”;“snowman”,可以把它拆分为“snow”与“man”,“playground”拆分为“play”和“ground”等等。 (三)抓住读音相似的词 英语单词教学中,能抓住近音词,可以帮助学生将发音相近的单词系统地记忆。例如教学:face时,同时可以出现:cake,bake,lake,教学too时,出现two,教师领读,让学生跟读,然后启发学生找出发音规律,这样,在教会学生单词发音的同时,培养了学生的思维能力,并有利于学生的记忆。对于近音词,可以通过做语音练习,要求学生把字母或字母组的发音相同的词找出来归类。,或者做听写练习时,有意地把字母或字母组合相同的单词放在一起听写,强化学生对音形的记忆。通过这些训练,使学生逐步形成听音拼词。 一、直观教学单词 让学生掌握单词的意思,有很多有效的途径,对于低中年级的学生,我坚持以直观为原则。教学水果、学习用品、食物、球类、动物、

小学英语词汇教学方法 小学英语教学目的主要是培养学生的听说能力,辅以读写能力,培养对英语学习的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,但作为语言学习,词汇教学是起成败作用的一个重要环节,著名语言学家威尔金斯(D.A.WILKINS)说,没有语法只能传达很少的信息,没有词汇则什么也无法传达。所以学生必须掌握一定量的词汇,才敢开口交流,才有兴趣学习。而小学生的性格又是活泼好动,和中学生不同,他们不可能通过大量的朗读或阅读来识记、背诵单词,机械的、枯燥的操练反而会适得其反,扼杀学生的学习兴趣。这就需要教师充分发挥自己的创造性,在词汇教学中设计不同形式的活动来激发学生的学习热情和积极性。 由于单词类型的不同(静态的和动态的,词性的不同,具体的和抽象的,等等),根据课程资源,汲取新课程的理念,任务型教学模式的要求,我们从以下四方面设计单词教学,几年的实践证明,效果是事半功倍的。 一、“寓趣于教”设计 德国教育家福禄贝尔认为,游戏是6~12岁儿童生活的一个要素,是其内在本质的外部表现,是发展儿童自助性的最好活动形式,是基础教育的一个重要组成部分。因此儿童学英语应像婴儿学母语一样,在游戏中无负担地学,快乐自信地学;在游戏中感知世界,得到实践机会。 (一)动中学 用直观形象略带夸张的动作引出动态单词,把声音语言与肢体语言结合,让全班学生都“动”起来,即使胆小、害羞的学生也会滥竽充数地练胆了。如,What do you do every day?一课的所有动作brush,wash,sleep,eat,sit,catch,write,play,kick,drink,draw,walk,sing,dance,ride,read,swim,run等,均可用动作表达出来,配以“我做你猜”“快速反应”等游戏巩固单词。 (二)做中学
