专题九并列句和状语从句考点一并列句(一)并列句的4种类型1．表并列、递进或顺承关系：and，both...and...，neither...nor...，not only...but also...The earth is one of the sun's planets，and the moon is our satellite.地球是太阳系中的一颗行星，月亮是地球的卫星。
2．表转折、对比关系：but，yet，while①The problem was a little hard，yet I was able to work it out.这道题有点难，然而我却把它做出来了。
②The winter in Beijing is very cold while that of Kunming is warm.北京的冬天很冷，然而昆明的冬天却很暖和。
3．表选择关系：or，otherwise，or else，either...or...，not...but...Now you can either have a rest or you can go to the cinema.现在你可以休息，也可以去看电影。
4．表因果关系：so，for(表“由于”，一般不放在句首)He found it increasingly difficult to read，for his eyesight was beginning to fail.由于他视力开始下降，他发现读书越来越困难了。
(二)并列句的2大句式1．when“就在这时，突然”，常用以下句式·sb.be about to do/on the point of doing sth.when...某人正要做某事，突然……·sb.be doing sth.when....某人正在做某事，突然……·sb.had(just)done sth.when...某人刚做完某事，突然……①One Friday，we were packing to leave for a weekend away when my daughter heard cries for help.当我们周五在收拾行李要去度周末时，我的女儿突然听到了呼救声。

第09讲并列句和状语从句（讲）【考纲考情】高考主要考查状语从句连接词及并列连词的正确运用，其次是状语从句的省略(非谓语动词短语与状语从句之间的转换)；另外注意状语从句和定语从句、名词性从句的区别；状语从句和强调句型的区别。
状语从句及并列句的考查常出现在高考试题中的语法填空、改错和书面表达中。
【考点梳理】一、并列连词与并列句连词常分为并列连词和从属连词两大类。
并列句是由两个或两个以上简单句构成。
在并列句中，这些简单句常由并列连词连在一起。
并列连词所连接的简单句被称为分句。
并列连词之前可用也可不用逗号。
1．并列连词归纳2．使用时要特别注意其特性(1)and, not only ... but (also) ..., neither ... nor ... 等词连接的并列句，在意义上主要对前一句子作补充或引申。
①One day, I was late, and my teacher was angry.有一天我迟到了，我的老师生气了。
②Not only is he himself interested in the subject, but also his students begin to show interest in it.不仅他自己对这个科目感兴趣，他的学生也开始表现出兴趣。
(2)or, either ... or ... 连接并列句表示选择意义。
③The children can go with us, or they can stay in. (选择)孩子们可以跟我们一起去，也可以留下。
④The workers were cheerful, or at least they appeared to be cheerful. (换个说法)工人们非常高兴，或者说他们至少表现得很高兴。
⑤Be careful, or you will break your neck. (否定条件)小心点，否则你会折断脖子的。

both...and...为固定搭配，意为：既……也……Ⅱ单句改错1．(2017·郑州第一次质量预测)She was born into a poor family or she worked very hard to be successful.____________________or→and/so解析：考查连词。
根据语境可知，上下文表示逻辑上的并列或因果关系，故用and或so。
2．(2017·广东七校联考)Although I was tired，but I really had a good time.____________________删除but或but改为yet解析：although不能和but连用，能和yet连用。
补充：此处也可删除Although，但是语意上没有修改but好。
3．(2017·湖北黄石大冶一中高三月考)I was so tired that I fell asleep at the moment my head touched the pillow.____________________去掉at解析：此处the moment是名词短语引导时间状语从句，at多余。
4．(2017·河北“五个一”名校联盟联考)Because you have anything that puzzles you，it would be great to talk with Mr.Tang.____________________Because→If解析：句意：如果你有任何使你困惑的事情，与唐老师交谈一下会非常好。
根据句意可知，从句为条件状语从句，表示“如果……”，应用If引导。
故将Because改为If。

此处修饰副词，故用so。
