【摘要】Highly ordered ZnO single-crystal nanorod(NR) arrays have been grown directly on a great number of substrates( including Si, ITO, Cu, brass and polymer materials) by a simple hydrothermal method. When Si wafers, ITO coated glass, Cu foils or PET sheets were used as the substrates, it was necessay to deposit a thin seed layer of ZnO on them prior to the growth of NR arrays. However, when a brass(CuZn alloy) foil was used as the substrate, ZnO NR arrays could be prepared on it without any seed layer. The structure, morphology and optical property were characterized by XRD, SEM and the UV-visible absorption spectra. It was also found that the as-prepared ZnO NR arrays had a good photocatalytic activity, which could degrad ~53% of organic dye(methyl orange aqueous solution) after 3h of ultraviolet(UV) light irradiation. Although the absorption coefficient over the visible band was significantly enhanced after modifying with CdSe, the photocatalytic capabilities of NR arrays were reduced a little.
