虽然我们组女教师较多，但团结协作的精神是可喜的。传帮带是我们组的特色。在教学中，教师之间经常相互听课，老教师教新教师如何上好课，如何编写好复习讲义，如何批阅试卷，如何组织好课堂教学，新教师在老教师的悉心指导下进步很快。在学校组织的优质课比赛中，每个备课组群策群力，共同为授课老师出谋划策，最终王营和代玉强两位老师分别获得一等奖和二等奖的优异成绩。
二、加强学习，提高个人业务素质。
在学校安排的教研活动中，我组经常组织教师共同探讨如何在课堂中渗透探究性教学，在课堂教学中积极探究以学生为主体的课堂教学模式，培养学生的创新精神和实践能力。教师要以学生为中心组织教学过程，把立足点放在让学生学会“独立思考”、学会“探究学习”中来努力规范课堂教育行为，提高教育实效。
全组老师还经常一起学习研究考纲以及《新课程标准》，明确了各个年级的英语教学目的、任务以及要求，从宏观上把握各个年级的知识脉络。
高一年级着重学习习惯的培养，加强学习方法的指导。高二在原基础上侧重解题思路的培养和综合能力的提高；高三则不断密切关注和研究高考动向。在复习过程中，注意查漏补缺，引导学生从横向、纵向两方面进行知识结构的梳理，同时重点培养学生在能力题方面的创新思维和考试心理的稳定。
三、加强备课组建设，创建备课组特色
各备课组能不折不扣地完成教研组安排的任务，同时创建自己的特色。课堂教学是学校所有的重中之重，它的质量高低直接决定了本学科教育教学的声誉甚至是学校工作的成败。
提高课堂教学的质量就要求各个备课组的老师抓好常规教学。同一年级要求教学进度统一，内容要求统一，重点难点统一，作业练习统一；在课堂教学过程中坚持备课、上课、作业批改、课后辅导、成绩考核、计划总结认真。因此在备课过程中，三个备课组都在组长的领导下形成了具有自身特色的备课组文化。
整个英语组每个教师的课堂教学方法，教学艺术各有特色，坚持听课、评课能相互学习，取长补短。因此，我们的三个备课组中经常看到老教师上示范课，新教师观摩学习的场面。老师们互相听课、新教师听课节数屡创新高。听课、评

四、存在的不足与问题
1、理论学习需要进一步加强。英语学科高考改革在我校各年级全面实施，对我们的教师在备课、上课等各个教学环节提高更高的要求。这需要在新改革的方面进一步的加强学习与研究，提升自身的认识水平。
2、教学研究有待进一步深入。教学研究存在着认识不深，热情不高，参与不多的状况。
3、校本教研、校本课程开发严重滞后。当前校本教研、校本课程开发存在着无政策支持、认识不足等问题。
五、今后工作的打算
1、根据学科特点，结合学生实际，每个学期要研究制定教学进度计划，认真组织教学，努力完成教学目标任务。
2、继续加强教学常规管理和课堂教学督促。规范教案编写，优化教案设计，注重学生思维训练和学法指导。抓好作业量控制和作业批改质量，做到精练细批。
3、进一步加大青年教师的培养力度。实行新老结合，以老带新，共同提高。积极向学校争取外出学习培训的机会，组织教师参加提高自己业务水平。
