Her wedding ceremony took place at The Sum Villa, located near West Lake. It was decorated impressively with a lot of lights, candles and flowers around the room. There were three glamorous wedding photo albums, showing tables right at the center of the official gate. The principal colors were likely to be white and violet, so all the guests were requested to wear clothes with one or both of these colors. Personally, I wore a white dress with small accessories.

They really give me a warm and pleasant family, since they care for me a lot, and also my parents love and support each other.Actually, my father is a gentle and quiet person, he treats my mother with care and love, for example, he usually volunteers to cook and wash the dishes when my mother is busy at work, you know, it’s just kind of silent expression of his emotion. When my mother comes home, she would enjoy the warm and yummy dishes on the table. Obviously, I can see how happy and satisfied my mother looks. As for my mother, she’s also considerate and supportive to my father, like she never argues with my father when they discuss decisions together, though they may have disagreement, my mother would think more about my father and listens to my father to support him.As you can guess, I could totally feel how they treat each other in my daily life. And I know my parents show me what islove and company, so I’m also influenced by them I think that’s why I could have a concord in my family. Describe a family member that you are mostly close to.You should say:Who the family member isWhat you know about this personWhat kind of person he/she isAnd explain why you are close to him/hersample answer此文为一英国雅思老师所作,内容巨长,可供烤鸭参考借鉴,但切勿直接背诵作为考场答案。

雅思口语Part2话题范文:a couple who have a happy marriage雅思口语话题:Describe a couple you know who have a happy marriage. You should say:who they arehow you know themhow long they have been marriedand explain why you think they are happily married参考范文:此为前考官9分范文Ok, well the first married couple that came to mind when I saw this topic were some neighbours of mine, because as far as I know, they are very happy together, so I’d like to tell you a little bit about them.So firstly, as for how I know them, well I basically got to know them when I moved into my flat here, because they live just next door to me, so we often bump into each other, and we’ve now become pretty good friends. And as for how long they’ve been married, well, I think it’s only been for about two or three years, because they’re both quite young andonly in their mid-twenties. Although if I remember correctly, I think one of them told me that they were together for quite a few years before they got married, because they met each other at high school, so taking that into account, they’ve actually been together for about ten years or so.But anyway, with regard to why I think they’re happily married, well I would say one reason is that, whenever I see them, they always seem to be happy and cheerful. I mean, I’ve never seen them argue or shout at each other before, and they’ve also never said anything bad about each other, apart from when they’re joking of course! And I get the impression that they treat each other really well. He joined the school team to play basketball as a forward. I watched several matches he was in, and all of our classmates would rootfor him. He always got good scores.Though he’s awesome, in other aspects too, hes really humble, for he never showed off his skills no matter how good he was at it. I quite appreciated that. He had a good command of computer stuff, and to me, it saved my life at some moments. Once I was staying up late for my graduation paper, but I don’t know why somehow my laptop just broke down. I mean, it suddenly turned off, and it must go wrong for I couldn’t start it. I was driven to mad. What if I lost all my files, especially my paper? I have to finish it in a day. Tomorrow is the deadline to hand it in.I felt like it was a doomsday for me. Then, it dawned on me, Davy! Davy is a computer geek. Maybe he can solve it! I couldn’t wait one more second and rang him. Thanks god, he answered the phone. After listening to my “heartbroken” story, he said he would like to help. Then we decided to meet in the library at 6.00, the opening time of the library. With his efforts for almost two hours, my laptop could work again. The luckiest thing was all my files were good. Saying thank you, I grabbed my laptop and rushed back to my dorm to go on. Everything went well, and I handed in my paper in time.We would always support each other whenever help is needed. Well, I've been to countless wedding ceremonies so far, but the most memorable one ismy cousin's wedding, which is not a traditional one that is held in a restaurant or a church, buton a secluded beach in Bali. It was actually a destination wedding and only close friends andfamily members were invited. The wedding celebrations went like a dream, I mean, the azuresky, the crystal clear water, the soothing sound of the waves, the soft sand, everything! Andthe reception was sweetas well. I can see that the wedding planner must have put alot ofthoughts in it. The bride looked gorgeous in that fancy wedding dress, and my cousin wasdrop-dead handsome, so you see, that wedding was picture-perfect! And my uncle was veryoriginal when he made his speech. He didn't say that I wish you a happy marriage or youshould start a family soon, like other parents would do. Instead, he shared his opinion onmarriage, and I quote: Life is a long a bumpy journey, and you guys should hold each other'shands and get through this together. Marriage is not a fairy tale. There will be imperfections. Atsome point in your life, you might have afight or disagreement, but you must never stoploving eachother and tolerate each other. There was soft backgroundmusic while he wasdoing this, which made it incredibly touching, I could see tears welling up in the couple's eyes. So, I guess it's fair to say that wedding is the bestone I've ever been to, and I hope someday, I could have one just like that. I was told that a girl in a wedding dress was the most gorgeous, and that's true. I've neverseen my sister asbeautiful as she was that day. My father gave her away to my brother-in-law,and they exchanged vows and wedding rings, just like what I'd seen in romantic movies. Mymom was movedto tears, and I believe that was a mixed feeling for her, but mostly happytears. And the reception was unique as well. It was an all-you-can-eat buffet. I think it was agood way for people to mingle. During the dinner, my brother-in-law proposed a toast and gavea speech. I can't remember exactly what he said, but the general idea was how lucky it was tomeet my sister and haveher as his wife. He has a great sense of humor, so although what hesaid was really touching, he managed to make everybody laugh. I was so happy for my sister. The memory is so fresh as if it happened yesterday.。
Wedding1. Have you ever been to a wedding celebration?I’ve only been to one wedding in my life, and I was very young so I can’t remember it very well. It’s for my Uncle Nicholas and Auntie Nina, who were finally tying the knot after dating for nine whole years. I doubt either of them had cold feet seeing as they had already been together for so long.I remember having to get dressed into some very formal and uncomfortable clothes. They itched a lot and I felt very trussed-up. I also had to kiss all the bridesmaids which was horrible for a young boy as I was then. Afterwards there was a big party called a ‘reception’ where everyone ate a nice meal, gave speeches and drank a lot of wine.2. What happens at a wedding celebration in China? In the traditional Chinese wedding, a band of musicians with gongs and flute-like instruments accompanies the bride parade to groom's home. Similar music is also played at the wedding banquet. Depending on the region that the bride hails from, Chinese weddings will have different traditions such as Tea Ceremony or the use of a Wedding emcee. When the bride arrived at the groom’s house, she can’t walk out of the sedan chair; the old matchmaker lady has to piggyback her all the way to the living room. And drop her there in front of the groom’s parents, and the whole wedding she has the red clothes covered her head, the couple will have three kowtow, to the earth and sky, to the parents, and to each other. And the red color is being used a lot, as a symbol of good luck, but in modern times, Chinese couples get to know western weddings via media, so the lady sometimes dressing up in white, and they go to church to have the wedding and also will often go to photo studios to take "glamour shots" posing in multiple gowns and various backgrounds.3. Why do many people spend a lot of money on wedding celebrations?I think the main reason people tend to push the boat out for their weddings is that it’s a unique event that will only happen once in their lives. They want to make it special and something to remember. Another factor at work here is the desire to impress all your friends and relatives who will come to the wedding. Not only do you want them to have fun and enjoy the occasion but you also want to show-off a bit. It’s not unusual for some couples to spend ridiculous amounts of money on weddings. There’s a lot of pressure and expectation that a wedding has to be ‘perfect’ so people tend to splash out and spend a lot of money.4. Do you know of any differences between weddings in China and those in the West? For western couples, during the wedding the bride walks into the church herself, which is called the bridal march. But during the traditional Chinese wedding the bride doesn’t walk herself. Instead a matchmaker lady has to piggyback her to the living room. Also, in western weddings, people always dress up in white, as a symbol of purity, but in a Chinese wedding the bride dresses up in red as a symbol of good luck. During the western wedding, the groom uncover the face mask by his hands and kisses the bride in front the guests, whereas in a traditional Chinese wedding the groom will carry the bride to their room and then uncover her face mask using a long red stick. As you can see, there are quite a few differences between the two types of wedding.。

Can you tell me sth about your marriage/marital ['mærɪt(ə)l] status? I have been married for about …years. We got married in my hometown, where we have large reception for our relatives and friends.Q2. Can you tell me what happens at a wedding? Well, it varies from place to place and from time to time. But usually a wedding begins early in the morning. The bridegroom, together with some of his relatives and friends, has to pick up the bride and her family from her home with beautifully decorated cars. Then the families and friends will usually have a banquet together. It is widely believed as the most meaningful moment in one’s life.Q3. How has people’s attitude towards wedding ceremonies changed in China? I think people have really changed their attitude towards wedding ceremonies. As time goes on, people have paid so much attention to how the wedding can be presented. But 30 years ago, even 10 years ago, people would like to have a simple wedding so that they could save the money for future family expenditure. Nowadays, wedding can be extremely fanciful and extravagant. They would hire luxury cars, invite as many guests as possible, and get the most expensive reception dinner. When he is in trouble, he may consult some fortune tellers to find a way out of the trouble. In this case he is likely to change his name for the sake of good fortune. Another possible reason that I can think of is that a criminal may which to change his name for illegal reasons.Q7. Do you prefer a big family or a small one? Why? I prefer to have a small family, the so-called nuclear family. For one thing, it’s the state policy that one couple should only have one child, no more. For another, the working pressure makes it difficult to bring up more children.I prefer to have a big family. Firstly, I like children a lot. I believe my child is the continuation of my life, as well as the crystal of our love. Moreover, with more children, I feel that I treat my family more seriously knowing that I have someone to care for, or a sacred responsibility to take.Q8. How has family structure changed in the recent decades in China? Well, family structure in China has changed a lot, generally from big to small. You see, we used to have extended family with a few generations living together. But as time goes on and people need to move with jobs, combined with the influences of one-child policy, small families are more common in today’s society.Q9. Do you think couples should share the housework or should the wife take the main responsibility?Since couples should be equal in the family, they should also share the housework. But it is understandable that when one is particularly busy, the other may do more.Q10. Who makes most of the decisions in your family, your mother or your father? Describe a wedding you have been to.
You should say:Where it wasWho you went withWhat you sawAnd how you felt about the wedding.During the last 2 years, Ive attended several weddings since I am already at the age when many of my friends are planning to get hitched with their lovers. But today I would like to say something about my cousins wedding, which roughly happened 5 months ago. I went there with my family, definitely. Specifically, Chinese weddings are quite different from western ones. For western countries, they normally hold a wedding in a church, but for Chinese, we always have it in a fancy hotel or a luxury restaurant, and so its the same with my cousins wedding. Before the ceremony, the groom picked up the bride, my cousin, with a motorcade and then they took some photos in open areas, just on a square of my city. My cousin wasextremely beautiful and she was in a pure white wedding dress. And then, they went to the hotel, where they had the wedding reception. The venue was nicely decorated, and there was a flood of people, perhaps 200. To be honest, the reception was very ceremonious. Firstly, the officiator gave a very brief speech, after that, the new couple exchanged their rings, took vows, and followed by a toast from the guests to the bride and groom. Undoubtedly, everyone there was in high spirits, chatting and laughing all day long. The couple, obviously loved each other so much. They even couldnt take their eyes off each other during the whole evening. It was a wonderful wedding as Ive witnessed my cousins important day. It was really a once-in-a-lifetime experience for her.3 4雅思口语invention话题Describe an important invention (before the age of computers) that has influenced human society.***You should say:what the invention iswhen and where it was inventedhow it is usedand explain how this invention has influenced society.

Mentioned about the wedding I have been to, I’d like to share with you one impressive experience that I attended to my sister’s wedding.
I clearly remember that it was about last month, I went to my sister’s wedding with my parents.
It was held in a fantastic hall of hotel in the center of the city. And once I stepped into the hall, I was totally amazed and surprised by the wonderful decoration which is filled with the photos of my sister and her husband and their favorite flowers roses. Also , I met lots of relatives we haven't seen for a long time chatting with others. What touched me the most is the moment that the bride and bridegroom exchange their wedding rings and express their appreciation to their parents.
As for my feelings to this wedding, I think firstly, I was really happy and delightful about my sister since I witness her happiness and the most important moment in her life. My sister and I grew up together, and we spent a lot of joyful time. Therefore, every time she felt happy, I will also be excited with her.
What's more, since then, I began to think about things about love. I started to look forward to meeting my soul-mate since it's really hard to find a true love. Also I realized that once I find my Mr. Right, I need to cherish this love.
