Students, professors, educators, and professionals can all benefit from reading scholarly research. While many works may be of technical nature, some of the best research is published in professional journals. While not all journals get published on the Internet, the trend(趋势)is growing. Your brain has the ability to store and accept two kinds of thoughts: Positive and Negative. Some people have more negative thoughts than positive, but most people are 50/50 and their minds play a tug of war per second. However, there is something you can do to gain a positive mindset.

When you get a bad or negative thought into your mind, you need to think of a positive thought so that the bad or negative thought makes way for the positive one. As you keep doing this, thought after thought, the positive thoughts will overcome the negative ones.

As time goes on and you repeat this process, you will find that your thoughts and mindset become positive and negative thoughts will not even be allowed to enter your mind. You will be

able to brush them off very easily. All bad emotions will go away too. You will also gain confidence in yourself; you can realize you have many good things, such as your inner strength, passion and courage.

This is not an overnight process, so be patient with this process. It took me a few years to finally be able to exhibit this way of living on a daily basis, but so far, it is working out quite nicely... I have not yet perfected this process, and I have a long way to go I think.

Remember you must adhere to the process. Do not give up yourself or give in to negativity during the process. No matter how hard it seems and what situations you are in, you must not give up.

Having a positive or negative mindset is only a choice. Choosing to have a positive mindset will allow you to attract amazing opportunities and successes in your life. Choosing to be negative will only attract more negativity and failures in your life. How will you choose to live your life

66.According to the passage, the way to overcome negative thoughts is to ____.

A.get rid of negative thoughts

B.accept and store negative thoughts

C.find out how negative thoughts happen

D.think of positive thoughts when there are negative thoughts

67.The author gave his own example to show that ____.

A.changing one’ s thoughts is a long process

B.positive thoughts could lead to success

C.gaining confidence in oneself is an easy thing

D.everyone is born with inner strength, passion and courage

68. What does the underlined phrase“ adhere to” in Paragraph 5 mean

A. To give up.

B. To bring in.

C. To stick to.

D. To work out.

69.What conclusion can be drawn from the passage

A.A positive mindset is determined by oneself.

B.Most people won’ t accept negative thoughts at all.

70.Which of the following would be the best title for this passage

A.Don ’ t give in to negativity

B.How to gain a positive mindset
