hello everyone. i am privileged to be here delivering my speech. my topic today is:
if i am a wisp of cloud.
if i were a wisp of cloud, i would fly over the great wall, viewing the wall with
great vicissitudes, feeling the feeling the mankind’s willpower which lasts hundreds
of decades.
if i were a wisp of cloud, i would fly up the peak of mont everest, watching the human’s footprint on the top of the globe, feeling the breath of passion and
struggle. if i were a wisp of cloud, i would nap on the torch of statue of liberty,
feeling the human’s desire of equality and freedom. if i were a wisp of cloud, i would fly to ancient egypt, over look the majestic
pyramid, admiring the strength of wisdom. after feeling all the positive energy of mankind, i would float africa, midair
of a desolated and dried-up soil, liquefy myself into a burst of rainfall, bringing
myself to those thirsty, along with the hope of life. this is why we are here, what
we do, and who we are——live a positive a life and dedicate ourselves to those whose

在21世纪的我们，学习英语已经是一门必修课了，如今为了加强学生的英语学习，英语
氛围，形成一种英语无处不在的学习环境，同时也为了提高我院以其各个英语爱好者的综合
能力，丰富学习课余文化活动，创建良好的校园文化氛围，因此，我们英语1+1 决定开展英
语角活动,邀请我校广大英语爱好者一起学英语
二．活动目的：
〈1〉提高同学学习英语的积极性，特别是提高对英语口语训练的积极性。
〈2〉丰富学生的课余生活。
〈3〉为学生提供一个学习和交流英语学习的平台，共同进步。
〈4〉加深对英语口语的重要性的认识。
〈5〉通过举办活动，为广大英语爱好者提供一个互相交流和学习的机会。
〈6〉让大学生体会英语的魅力，敢于说英语，敢于秀自己。
三、活动对象：柳职院全体英语爱好者
四、活动时间：2012年10月11日。19：00——21:30.
五、活动地点：旧阶梯教室

七．活动前工作安排
1、宣传部：负责制作海报、横幅、写广播稿和新闻稿。
2、学习部：负责整个活动的摄影工作。
3、外事部：负责申请教室，租借相关设备。
4、秘书部：负责签到工作，购买活动用品。
5、文-体部：负责布置会场活动，座位的安排。
6、策划部：负责整个活动的策划和总结

1、报名时间：10月8日——10月10日
2、报名地点：报给各部门的负责人，然后把人数汇报给主席团统计人数。
3、主持人的选定：比赛选男女主持人各一名。
4、评委：七个理事及会长们
5、对参赛选手的要求【1】选手题目与大学生活，学习话题有关。要求演讲内容积极、
健康、向上。【2】举止大方，表现自然，与观众有目光交流。有适当的肢体语言，（有才艺
展示）【3】如有背景音乐，则自带。【4】自备服装和道具（如有需要）。
2．演讲比赛
【1】比赛以公平公正为原则，以丰富和活跃校园生活、促进交流与沟通为宗旨，比赛一
次性解决。
【2】大赛分为自我介绍，演讲比赛，才艺展示三个环节。依据评委打分计算出成绩，最
后颁发一等奖、二等奖、三等奖和参与奖。
3、活动流程
一、活动步骤
【1】主持人开场白【2】选手按照比赛具体步骤依次上台演讲和英语才艺展示。【3】
评委点评，有七个理事和会长们点评【4】主持人宣布比赛成绩和名次【5】颁奖由会长发
奖【6】活动参与者合影【7】主持人宣布活动结束【8】按照统一安排依次退场
二、比赛具体过程
第一个环节：选手简要作自我介绍，大约每人1分钟，由评委打分（20分）。第二个环
节：演讲总分50分。选手依次上台演讲，大约每人五分钟。第三个环节：才艺展示总分30
分。
第四个环节：演讲结束后，由评委作总评。并依据比赛成绩宣布各参赛选手成
绩。
三．具体评分细则：（满分100分）
●仪表形象：（20分）
1）着装整齐，大方得体。（10分）
2）姿态自然，动作适度。（10分）
●演讲内容：（50分）
3）主题鲜明，符合主题内容。（25分）
4）内容充实，事例动人，贴近生活，富有鲜明的时代感。（15分）
5）行文流畅，用词精练，详略得当。（10分）
●语言艺术：（30分）
6）发音标准，流利。（10分）
7）节奏处理得当，技巧运用自如。（10分）
8）表现力、应变能力强，能活跃气氛，引起高潮.(10分）
●评分规则：
评委明确给出每部分评分（评分为整数），由工作人员进行最后加总，去掉最高分与最低
分，取平均分为选手比赛成绩，按成绩排名分别获一、二、三等奖。

八. 颁奖：
比赛结束后，有会长团上台按由低到高的顺序颁发获奖证书和奖品
九．注意事项
1、活动开始前各负责人做好签到、接待工作，主持人提前做好准备。
2、观众到指定区域就坐，并注意现场纪律。活动过程中，要保持安静，认真听演讲。
3、评分要严格按照评分标准进行
