a. 做Guess 游戏用以复习地点名称的词汇:

T: Where do you buy?(shop)

T: What is the capital city of China?(Beijing)…

b.做Spell It 游戏用以复习学生已经掌握的关于地点名称的词汇.

(利用单词卡片瞬时记忆)

3.教授重要概念:

出示中国地图,和学生一起找到北京,示范Beijing 一词.之后,在地图上贴上旅馆小图片.演示trip和hotel.

手偶: I am going on a trip.

教师: Where are you going ?

手偶: I am going to ___.(目的地名称)

教师: Do you live in ___?(目的地名称)

手偶: No!I live in ___(所在城市名称).I live in a house\an apartment.

教师: Do you have a house in ___(目的地)?

4. 与学生一起讨论有关北京的图片.他们最喜欢什么?谁曾到过北京?(the Palace Museum\Tian an men Square\hltel)

情感态度与价值观:在真实的打电话的语境中,让学生了解中西方打电话中语言的区别,在具体的任务中,学会用英语打电话。

一、Class opening:

1. Greeting. 简单的口语交谈

How old are you? How many pencils do you have? How many books do you have?…

2、Game:做数字接龙游戏。(复习数字,做好铺垫,活跃课堂气氛。)

二、New Concepts:

1、三位数的读法

出示凤凰山的图片及相关数字。

师问:This is FenghuangShan. How tall is it? Who can say it in English?

生答:It is eighty-eight meters tall.

出示东方明珠电视塔的图片

师问:What’s this? How tall is it?

生答:It’s four hundred sixty-eight meters tall。

师:Yes. Very good. Say it , together.(仅仅重复数字的读法)

教师再出示两张图片(物体高度三位数的)请学生回答。

让学生说说在数学里我们怎样读三位数的数字,通过此引出英文三位数字的读法:按照数字的顺序,先读百位上的数,是几就读几,在数字几的后面加上单“hundred和and”, 然后再读几十几。

教师出示多个三位数字,请学生读出来。

注意:百位和十们之间加and,十位上是零时用and做连接。

2、四位数的读法

同样的方法请学生总结规律:用“thousand” 表示千,它的前面是基数。用“hundred” 表示百,前面也是基数,在百位和十位之间用“and” 连,当百位、十位上是零时也用“and” 连。

3、学习“about”

出示地图,找到两个城市(北京、唐山)Ask:How far is Beijing? It is …在地图上标出它的距离,让学生说。

师:Yes. It is two hundred and five kilometers. About two hundred kilometers. About two hundred kilometers. Say it ,please.

Ask the students to guess: the mea ning of ‘about’。师用“≈”表示。

以地图上的国家和城市之间的距离练习用英语读数字及单词“about”.

听课文录音,整体感知课文内容。根据课文内容回答问题:

出示一系列的图片及相关数字,请学生读出它们,并能用“about” 说出它们大约是多少。

四、教学过程

一)、复习:做“Spell”游戏复习以前学过的表示交通方式的词汇,要求学生找出这些词的词汇卡片,并画出与单词相配的图画。

二)、新授

1、在复习时所用的词汇卡片中放入新卡片airplane、train,在学生度这些卡片的过程中教授新词,并让学生画出相配的图画。

2、出示一张《龟兔赛跑》的图画,以讲故事的方式出示fast、 faster 、slow、 slower这两组比较级。

在黑板上写出基本句型:

is fast.

Is slow.

is faster than .

is slower than .

3、分小组练习,学生将复习时所用的交通方式词汇填入以上句型中进行造句练习。

4、比赛:将全班分成两组,每组出一名学生,让他任意出示两种交通工具的图片,并叫起对方任一名学生造句。对者得一分,错的不得分,两组累计分数高者为胜。(不能重复叫一名学生。)
