英语作文分二部分：一是小作文（10分），是属于商务应用文，即书信，一般要求100词（标点符号不计算在内）；二是大作文（15分），要求考生根据提示信息写出一篇150词以上的短文（标点符号不计算在内）。
（一）、英语小作文，一般都是写书信的
（以下单词请记住，出现以下单词时就可以知道是写哪种类型的信了，如“letter of inquiry”就是写“询价信”，“letter of quotation”就是写“报价信”等）（1）单词：
Complaint（投诉）, Inquiry（询问）, Request（请求）, Appology（道歉）, Gratitude/thanks of(感谢）, suggestion（建议）, application（申请）, quit a job（求职），invitation（邀请）, recommendation（推荐）, Directions (范围)
（2）短句：
1）自我介绍：I am the manger of ** （我是**公司的主管），如：I am the manager of the information Deparment of new World Company（我是新世界公司信息部的主管）；或者简单点：I am Mr wang/Miss wang(我是王先生/王小姐)
2）Do not sign your own name at the end of the https://www.doczj.com/doc/8111563510.html,e”**”中文意思：最后签名那里不能使用你真实姓名，用**（如zhang wei）
3）Thank you for your prompt attention 请即刻处理些事，我们将不胜感激
4） Your prompt attention to this matter will be much appreciated 期待贵公司早日答复（这句话一般放在书信的后面一句）
（3），书信中，Dear sirs/madam后面是加逗号的“，”，另，英语中是不能用空心句号的，一个句子结束一定要用实心句号。
（4）在写作文中，不需要强求表达很深层的意思，只要你把简单的意思表达出来，并把简单的句子通过并列句变成长句，这样就算成功的写作了，如多用“and”来把句子变长，因为作文是有要求字数的。
一、书信格式及模块
1:投诉信（letter of complaint）

4、and my name is Li Ming “我的名字叫李明”，这句话很重要，在介绍完你的身份后
介绍你叫什么名字，这句话是固定模板来的，只是改下名字，还要记住不要写信时一定不要写自己真实姓名，如果题目中有给名字的就用题目的名字，如果没有就自己想个名字上去，但一定不能用自己的名字。
5、写信一般分为日期、主要内容、问候句、落款；主要内容一般又分三段来写。
1）主要内容分三段：第一段先介绍自己，并说明来意。（如果你介绍完自己后实在不懂写就按题目给的差不多的句子抄一句，或者就直接不写，就转为第二段内容；第二段以“It is my knowledge that your company”“我知道你们公司。。。。”开头，写一段文字，实在不懂写就以最简单的词句表达你的意思，或者你在卷子里面其他题目里看看有没有合适的句子把它抄下去的，这样就组成了一段了。第三段，英语基础好的同学就尽可能写上第三段，如例文里的第三段，但如果英语基础不是很好的同学，就直接过到问候句去，这时请用这句问候句：“Your prompt attention to this matter will be much appreciated”
