As for me, I prefer to take an essay question for the following reasons. First of all, on some degree, I think objective questions are somewhat unfair. People who don’t know the answer at all may choose the right answer. In contrast, essay questions test the true ability of student because only when the students know the answer, can they get the score. Second, essay questions leave more room for the students to imagine and express. They can totally deliver their own ideas by their own word. And the essay questions test not only the knowledge of the students but also the ability to express themselves. I like to express my ideas in the exams, so I prefer to take the essay questions.
3.Among the following three types of professions, which do you think makes the
most important contribution to society? Primary school teacher, nurse, artist.
As far as I am concerned, I think primary school teacher makes the most important contribution to the society. Being a primary school teacher is a sacred duty. Since children are the future of the country, people pay more attention to the education nowadays, especially the primary education. They deliver the fundamental knowledge to the children, teach them to learn and create. In other word, they are nurturing the flower of the country. Additionally, they take the responsibility to take care of the children, which makes the parents spend more time in working. In hence, primary school teachers are more important because they need to lead the children to their future safely and happily.
4.Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People who are 18 years
old are not mature enough to vote.
I do agree with the point that people is not mature enough to vote when they are 18. Even though they are adults legally, most of them are still at school. Because of the heavy schedule, seldom do they pay attention to the local politics. Meanwhile, they never really step into the society and can not distinguish what is wrong and what is right in some cases. Some of my classmates get involved in the elevation last year, but I think they did nothing useful because they even don’t know any of the candidates. They just choose a name they like. So I think only when we step into the society , are we mature enough to vote.
5.Our society is now facing very serious environment problems. Choose one
approach that you believe to be useful to save our planet.
To save our planet, I think limiting the use of cars is a down-to-earth and efficient way that we can do now. As we know, since more and more cars are produced, the roads become quite crowed. In the meanwhile, more and more exhaust gas are emitted into the atmosphere. It is reported that the emission from the cars in the city plays a significant role in air pollution and cause of certain illness like cough, lung disease. So limiting the number of cars in cities is necessary. The government should encourage the citizens to choose other way to go out like by bus, by subway or by bike. Maybe it makes little sense for a certain person, however, if everyone make an effort, the result will be fascinating.
6.Are you willing to carefully choose the gift which your friends like or choose
whatever you like?
Of course, I am willing to choose the gift my friends like. The taste differs from person to person. The gift that think is best may not suit my friend’s taste. For example, once I need to buy a gift for one of my friend’s birthday. Since my friend is a girl. I think a purple bag would be suitable. However, I never saw her use the bag, later on ,I heard from other people that purple is not her taste. Since then, every time I choose a gift, I pay more attention to the need of my friend. I may ask other people for information or I directly ask my friend what he or she like most.

I think a good study habit I have that other people may not have is the review habit. Unlike other people, I review what I learn that day before I sleep. Usually I will write a summary of what I learn in a paper during the day, then before I sleep, I will take out of the paper to review. I always ask myself what I learn that day, what I don’t underst and yet. Then I take down what I really don’t understand and the next day, I go the teacher for help. This habit helps me to handle the heavy schedule and figure out my weak points. Thanks to the habit, my academic work goes pretty pleasant.

Personally speaking, I agree with the point that playing computer or video games is more curse than a bliss for teenagers. First of all, teenagers should focus on the study instead of computer games. They cannot balance the study time and game time. As long as they get addicted to the game, they can hardly concentrate on study again. Second, playing computer games for too long does harm to tee nagers’ health. Many teenagers are short-sighted, computer games should be responsible. As for me, I think rock music is one type of music that I like least. My reasons are as follows. First of all, the rock music is too noisy for me. I am a silent people so I like listen to soft music like country music and light music. They get me into peace. In contrast, rock music makes feel annoyed. When I listen to music, I always carry on other things like reading. Rock music just disturbs me and I cannot concentrate on other things. Second, I can hardly understand rock music. The rhythm is fast, the lyric is obscure. I can not hear the lyric clearly and even I can distinguish what the singer is singing, the lyric itself is always meaningless for me.

Second, some students may not be interested in economy, they may intrigued by science. In that case, taking economic classes is meaningless. Of course I agree with the statement that university students should learn how to manage their time more efficiently. Compared with the high school, college life is more flexible. They finished their tasks as soon as possible and learn other subject like economy, management, which they are interested in.
