一个忙碌的周日英语作文Sundays are meant to be a day of rest and relaxation for many people however for me a typical Sunday is anything but that it is a day filled with a flurry of activities and chores that need to be completed before the start of a new work week on Monday the alarm clock blares to life at 7 am and I begrudgingly pull myself out of bed knowing that I have a long list of tasks that need to be tackled todayfirst on the agenda is a trip to the grocery store to stock up on essentials for the week ahead I make a quick cup of coffee and head out the door making sure to grab my reusable shopping bags on the way out the drive to the store is a short one but already I can feel the stress of the day starting to build as I navigate the crowded parking lot and make my way inside the store the aisles are packed with other shoppers all rushing to get their weekly shopping done as quickly as possible I grab a cart and begin my methodical trek through the store checking items off my list as I go I try to remain calm and focused but the chaos around me is starting to get to me by the time I reach the checkout line my nerves are frayed and I justwant to get out of there as quickly as possibleafter unloading the groceries at home I take a few minutes to catch my breath before moving on to the next item on my to-do list laundry it seems like I'm constantly doing laundry these days between work clothes gym clothes and household linens the piles of dirty clothes just keep growing I sort the clothes by color and fabric type and start the first load running I use this time to tidy up around the house a bit picking up any stray items and wiping down the kitchen counters while I wait for the wash cycle to finishonce the laundry is done it's time to tackle some yard work the lawn is starting to look a bit shaggy and the flower beds are in desperate need of weeding I pull on my gardening gloves and head outside armed with my trusty gardening tools the hot summer sun beats down on me as I work tirelessly to tame the overgrown greenery sweat pours down my face and my muscles ache but I push on determined to get the job done rightfinally after what feels like an eternity the yard work is complete I head back inside grab a cold bottle of water and collapse onto the couch for a much-needed break my brief respite is short-lived however as I remember that I still need to meal prep for the week ahead I force myself back up and head to the kitchen where I spend the next couple of hours chopping vegetables marinating chickenand portioning out healthy lunches and dinners for the weekby the time I'm finished with the meal prep the laundry is done so I move on to folding and putting away the clean clothes this is another tedious task that I dread but I power through it determined to check it off my list I even manage to squeeze in a quick load of dishes while I'm at itas the afternoon wears on I start to feel my energy waning but I know I still have a few more things to take care of before the day is done I need to walk the dog give him a bath and clean out his kennel I gather up all the necessary supplies and head outside where my four-legged friend is eagerly waiting for me he bounds around excitedly as I attach his leash and we set off on our walk the fresh air and gentle breeze help to revive me a bit and I find myself actually enjoying the quality time with my furry companion once we return home I get to work on the dog's bath and kennel cleaning tasks thankfully these go quickly and I'm soon able to collapse on the couch again this time with my trusty pup curled up beside meI glance at the clock and am shocked to see that it's already after 6 pm where did the day go I let out a heavy sigh as I realize that my relaxing Sunday has been anything but that I've been go go go since the moment I woke up and I still have a few more things to take care of before I can finally call it a day I begrudgingly pull myself up offthe couch and head to the home office where I spend the next couple of hours paying bills responding to emails and making sure my to-do list for the upcoming week is in orderby the time I'm finished with all of that it's well past 8 pm my stomach is rumbling and I realize I haven't even had a chance to eat dinner yet I quickly whip up a simple meal and wolf it down before collapsing back onto the couch this time determined not to get back up I turn on the TV and try to unwind a bit flipping through the channels until I find something mindless to watch I feel my eyelids growing heavy and before long I'm fast asleep the exhaustion of the day finally catching up with mewhen I wake up it's nearly 11 pm I stretch and yawn realizing that I never made it to my bed I slowly make my way to the bedroom strip off my clothes and crawl under the covers grateful that the day is finally over as I drift off to sleep I can't help but feel a twinge of disappointment that my Sunday was so hectic and jam-packed with chores and errands rather than the relaxing day of rest that I had envisioned instead of feeling rejuvenated and refreshed I feel drained and weary but I know that I'll have to do it all over again next weekend after all being a responsible adult is a never-ending cycle of work and more work。

我有一个忙碌的周末过去式英文作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Super Busy WeekendLast weekend was the busiest weekend I've had in a really long time! It was so jam-packed with activities and fun things to do that I can hardly believe I fit it all into just two days. Let me tell you all about my super busy weekend! On Saturday morning, I woke up bright and early feeling energetic and ready to start the day. My mom had made my favorite breakfast of chocolate chip pancakes, which gave me lots of energy for the busy day ahead. After cleaning my plate, I got dressed in my soccer uniform because I had a big game that morning. My team, the Red Rockets, was playing against our biggest rivals, the Blue Breakers. The game was super intense from the very first minute. I played defense and worked really hard to keep the ball away from our goal. Both teams scored a bunch of times and the game was tied when the final whistle blew. Even though we didn't win, I felt proud of how hard I played. After the game, I was starving! My dad picked me up and we stopped for pizza on the way home. I devoured four slices of pepperoni pizza - I was that hungry! When we got home, I took a quick shower to wash off all the sweat and dirt from the game.In the afternoon, it was time for my best friend Jess's birthday party. Her mom had rented out a bounce house for the backyard and set up all kinds of fun games and activities. There was a piñata in the shape of a unicorn, a dunk tank, face painting, and even a cotton candy machine! Jess got so many cool presents like art supplies, books, and new games for her video game console. We played in the bounce house for hours, taking breaks to snack on pizza, cupcakes, and cotton candy. At one point, the adults set up a dunk tank and all the kids took turns trying to dunk Jess's dad. It was hilarious watching him get dunked into the cold water over and over! I also got my face painted like a tiger, which was awesome. After the party, I was completely wiped out from all the running, jumping, and playing. I conked out in the car on the way home and slept for a few hours. When I woke up, it was already time for dinner! My mom had made my favorite meal of chickennuggets, french fries, and mac and cheese. I inhaled all the food hungrily. On Sunday, I had plans with my grandparents. In the morning, my mom's parents picked me up and we went to the children's museum downtown. I loved exploring all the cool interactive exhibits. At the spaceship display, I got to ride in a simulator that made me feel like I was blasting off into space. So fun!In another area, there were giant building blocks that let me construct tall towers and wacky structures. My grandpa and I worked together to build a castle bigger than both of us! The museum also had an outdoor playground and a special toddler zone just for little kids. I spent a few hours running around and burning off energy. For lunch, my grandparents took me to a diner and I feasted on a huge plate of chicken tenders, fries, and a chocolate milkshake. My grandma always spoils me by letting me get whatever I want, even dessert! With a full belly, I felt ready to keep on playing. In the afternoon, we went to my grandparents' house and hung out in their beautiful backyard garden. My grandpa taught me all about the different kinds of flowers and plants they havegrowing back there. He showed me how to properly water the vegetable garden and let me pick some fresh tomatoes, which we snacked on together. Yum!As the sun started to set, we played rounds of croquet on the lawn. I'm a pretty good croquet player for my age and managed to win a couple games! My grandparents have a sweet little dog named Daisy who ran around fetching the balls whenever they rolled too far away. She's such a cute, friendly pup. Finally, it was time for me to go home. I gave my grandparents big hugs and thanked them for such a fun-filled day. In the car on the way home, I could feel my eyelids getting heavy from exhaustion. As soon as I walked through the door at home, I crashed on the couch and fell into a deep sleep, worn out from my super busy weekend.Wow, I can't believe how much I was able to pack into just two days! Between the soccer game, Jess's epic birthday party, and the awesome day with my grandparents, it was definitely one of the most fun and tiringweekends ever. I made so many wonderful memories that I'll never forget. I feel very lucky to have such an exciting life! Although I love keeping busy, I don't mind having a quieter, more relaxing weekend coming up to recover from this crazy one. Phew!篇2I Had a Really Busy Weekend!Last weekend was so much fun but also really tiring! I had a lot of different activities and didn't get much rest. It was kind of crazy but I loved every minute of it.On Friday after school, I went straight to my friend Hannah's house for a sleepover party. Her mom had set up a little tent for us to camp out in the backyard. We were so excited! After we dropped our stuff off inside, we went out to the backyard and played on the swing set and climbed trees for a little while. Then we came inside and Hannah's mom had a bunch of stuff ready for us to make little necklaces and bracelets. We used beads and string and got pretty creative with our jewelry designs. My necklace had rainbows and stars on it!Once we were done with that, it was time for pizza for dinner. Hannah's dad had ordered a couple of pepperoni pizzas for us. They were so cheesy and delicious! After we stuffed ourselves with pizza, we went back outside and went puddle jumping for a bit since it had rained earlier. We got ourselves pretty muddy but we didn't even care. When it started getting dark out, we built a little fire in the backyard fire pit and roasted marshmallows. Have you ever had a perfectly golden brown roasted marshmallow? It's absolute heaven! The melty insides mixed with the crispy outer layer is just insanely good. We played some fun games and told spooky stories around the fire before finally crawling into our tent to go to sleep. The next morning, I woke up feeling like I barely slept at all because I was just so excited and energized! Hannah's mom made us yummy chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, which gave us a much-needed energy boost. After we ate and got ourselves cleaned up, Hannah's dad drove us over to a rollerskating rink in town.I hadn't been rollerskating in forever, so I was really shaky on my feet at first. I held onto the wall for a few laps until I got the hang of it again. Then Hannah and I just skated around and around, racing each other and playing games where we had to skate backwards and do other tricky moves. A couple hours into it, my legs were really sore but I didn't want to stop. I just love the feeling of gliding around on those wheels.Sadly, we did have to leave the skating rink eventually because I had another activity right after. Hannah's dad droppedme off at home where I quickly changed into my baseball uniform. My team had an away game that afternoon over in Franklin City against their youth team. The game was really close the whole time. We were tied for most of it until they scored a couple of runs towards the end. We ended up losing 5-3 but it was still a lot of fun. After the game, my parents took me out for a celebratory milkshake at the diner by the baseball fields. I went with cookies and cream – my favorite! When we got home from the game, I didn't have too long to rest before it was off to my cousin's birthday party. She had rented out a bouncy castle place that had all kinds of huge inflatable slides, obstacle courses and games. As soon as I walked in, I kicked off my shoes and went wild! I must have gone down the gigantic purple spiral slide a hundred times. Then I tried getting through the absolutely massive obstacle course, which was basically like being on a gymnastic meets ninja warrior course. It was so hard but so much fun! After a couple of hours of bouncing and sliding and obstacle coursing, we all gathered together to sing happy birthday to my cousin and for her to blow out the candles on her cake. I don't know how she had any breath left after all that bouncing around!Once we had stuffed ourselves with cake and ice cream, we had to leave and head home because it was getting pretty late at that point.I was completely exhausted after that crazy weekend, but in the best way possible. As soon as I got home, I just totally crashed and slept like a log all night long. I needed to recharge my batteries after days of non-stop activities and fun! It was such an awesome weekend that I'll never forget. I can't wait for my next adventure!篇3My Super Busy WeekendLast weekend was sooooo busy! I had so many things to do and places to go. It was kind of crazy, but also really fun. Let me tell you all about it!On Friday after school, I had my weekly piano lesson with Mrs. Robertson. She's my piano teacher and she's really nice, but also kind of strict. During my lesson, she worked me super hard on my scales and arpeggios. My fingers were getting tired from practicing so much! After the lesson, Mom picked me up and we went straight to the grocery store. We needed to get foods for the weekend because we were having company. My aunt, uncle, and cousins were coming over for a sleepover on Saturday night. I was so excited to see them because I don't get to very often since they live pretty far away. While we were at the grocery store, I got to pick out some snacks that I wanted, like chips and cookies. Yum!When we got home from the store, I had just a little bit of time before dinner to play outside. I rode my bike around the neighborhood and played freeze tag with some kids from down the street. It was a nice evening so I worked up a bit of a sweat from running around so much. For dinner, we had macaroni and cheese, which is my favorite. I had seconds...and thirds! I was really stuffing myself. After dinner, I had to take my bath and get ready for bed. I went to sleep excited for my cousins to come the next day.On Saturday morning, I woke up pretty early because I was so eager to start the day. While Mom and Dad were still sleeping in a little, I played with myLegoS in the living room. I was working on a big castle scene with a king, a queen, knights, a dragon, and everything!Eventually Mom and Dad woke up and we all had pancakes and sausage for breakfast. My aunt and uncle weren't going toarrive until later in the afternoon, so we had some time to kill in the morning.Dad suggested we all go to the park since it was such a nice day out. At the park, I played on the swings, the seesaw, the merry-go-round, and the slide. I also played a game of catch and frisbee toss with Dad. After a little while, I started getting pretty hot so I got a slushy from the concession stand. It was blue raspberry - my favorite!Once we got back home from the park, it was time to clean up and get ready for my aunt, uncle, and cousins to arrive. I helped out by vacuuming the living room carpet and dusting the shelves. I wanted everything looking nice for when they got there. Finally, they arrived! I was so happy to see my cousins Jane and Joey. Jane is 9 and Joey is 7, so we're all pretty close in age. As soon as they walked through the door, we started catching up and talking a mile a minute. Jane showed me her new Lego Friends set and Joey showed me the trading cards he's been collecting. For dinner that night, Dad grilled hamburgers and hot dogs. We had a picnic outside on the patio table. It was such a nice evening, and the food was delicious. Afterwards, we had acompetitive game of cornhole going. The grown-ups played against the kids. My team won!Once it got dark out, we roasted marshmallows over the fire pit and made s'mores. We got all sticky and messy, but it was so worth it because s'mores are amazing. While we were outside, we also did a little stargazing through Dad's telescope. We spotted the Big Dipper, Orion's Belt, and even Saturn and its rings! Finally, we all went inside and got ready for bed. The cousins and I set up a fort/sleeping area in the living room out of blankets and couch cushions. We told spooky stories with the flashlight and played truth or dare. We were up pretty late whispering and giggling together. On Sunday morning, my cousins and I slept in pretty late since we were up so late the night before. Mom made chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, which was such a treat! After eating, we spent most of the morning playing these silly improv games like "Bunny Bunny" and "Zip Zap Zop." Every time we messed up, we'd have to do a goofy dance or make a funny sound. We were laughing so hard our stomachs hurt.Too soon, it was time for my aunt, uncle, and cousins to head home. We spent a lot of time saying our goodbyes and makingthem promise to come back for another sleepover sometime soon. The weekend just went by way too fast! I'm already counting down the days until our next visit. After they left, I spent the rest of Sunday cleaning up and getting ready for the new school week ahead. I put away all my toys, took out the trash and recycling, and went through my backpack to make sure I had all my homework and supplies ready.Once my chores were done, I just relaxed on the couch and watched a movie with Mom and Dad before bedtime. We had popcorn and cookie dough ice cream - yum!By the time I went to bed Sunday night, I was pretty tuckered out from such a jam-packed weekend. I could hardly keep my eyes open! As I drifted off to sleep, I just thought about what an awesome time I had with my cousins. I made so many fun memories. I can't wait for our next sleepover adventure!篇4My Super Busy WeekendLast weekend was the busiest weekend I've had in a really long time! I had so many fun things to do and places to go. I'm going to tell you all about it.On Friday after school, I went straight to my friend Tommy's house. His mom picked me up and we went over there to have a sleepover. Tommy and I were so excited! First we played some video games in his room. I beat him at Mario Kart, but he's better than me at that fighter game with all the crazy character guys. After that, we went outside to play some basketball out back. We were both dripping sweat after running around so much! Tommy's dad called us in for dinner. We had tacos for dinner, which was awesome. I love tacos! After dinner, we went back to Tommy's room and started watching movies. We watched two movies back-to-back - first a silly comedy about a talking dog, and then an adventure movie with superheroes. I made it through the first movie, but fell asleep halfway through the superhero one!The next morning, we woke up and had pancakes that Tommy's mom made. They were so fluffy and delicious with maple syrup on top. Yum! Once we finished eating, Tommy's dad took us to the waterpark that just opened for the summer. We spent the whole day at the waterpark riding all the waterslides, splashing around in the wave pool, and floating along the lazy river. My favorite was definitely the big swirly waterslide that you went down on a raft. We went on that one about ten times!By the time we left the waterpark in the late afternoon, we were exhausted. We stopped for pizza on the way home and I started feeling a second wave of energy after re-fueling on all that cheesy goodness. When we got back to Tommy's house, we played some more video games before I had to head home for dinner with my own family. What a jam-packed day!On Sunday morning, I slept in until 10am. I was so tired from my busy day before! Once I finally rolled out of bed, I had a big breakfast and then got ready to go to my cousin's birthday party. The party was at a trampoline park - my favorite! As soon as I arrived, I took off my shoes and went running and jumping around. We played dodgeball on the trampolines for a while, which was total chaos but so much fun. After working up an appetite from all that jumping, we had cake and ice cream and opened presents. My cousin got so manycool new toys and games. I was feeling a little jealous of his huge pile of gifts! Finally, the last event of my busy weekend was my brother's baseball game Sunday evening. The whole family went to watch him play. He got a couple of hits and scored a run to help his team win. After the game, we went out for a celebratory dinner at his favorite restaurant.By the time I got home Sunday night, I was beat. It had been such an action-packed, fun-filled weekend. I took a nice long bath and then went to bed early, feeling grateful for such an exciting couple of days off from school. Weekends like that are the best!篇5My Super Busy WeekendLast weekend was the busiest weekend I've had in a really long time! On Saturday morning, I woke up feeling excited because I had a soccer game at 9am. My mom made my favorite breakfast of pancakes and sausage to help give me lots of energy. After I finished eating, I put on my blue and white soccer uniform and my cleats. My dad grabbed my soccer ball and water bottle, and we headed out the door to drive to the field. When we got there, I saw all my teammates already doing warm-up exercises on the sidelines. I jumped out of the car and ran over to join them for some stretches and footwork drills. Soon it was time for the game to start! The other team was really good, but I scored two goals and we ended up winning 4-2. What a great way to start my weekend! After my game, we drove home and I quickly took a shower. My mom had a surprise for me - she was taking me to visit my aunt, uncle and cousins who live a few hours away! I was so excited because I love going to their house. They have a huge backyard with a trampoline, playground set, and swimming pool. We don't have any of those things at my house. The drive took forever and I stared out the window getting bored. But finally we arrived and I jumped out to give my aunt and uncle big hugs. My cousins Emily and Michael ran outside too, and we all started playing together right away. We jumped on the trampoline, played tag around the playground set, and pretended to be swimmers at the Olympics in their pool. Before I knew it, it was dinner time already! After dinner, we had a fun family game night. We played charades, Pictionary, and baked some chocolate chip cookies for dessert. I was laughing so hard during the games. When it gotlate, we set up sleeping bags in the living room and watched a movie together while eating our warm, gooey cookies. I fell asleep as soon as the movie ended because I was exhausted from such an action-packed day!The next morning, we had a big breakfast of pancakes, eggs, bacon, and fruit. My cousins and I could hardly sit still because we had another fun day planned - we were going to the county fair! Once we finished eating, we piled into my aunt and uncle's van and drove to the fairgrounds. It was such a beautiful sunny day without a cloud in the sky.At the fair, we went on tons of rides like the Tilt-A-Whirl, Scrambler, and Ferris Wheel. We played games and won a few prizes too. I knocked down all the milk bottles and won a huge teddy bear! We ate lots of delicious fair food like cotton candy, caramel apples, and my favorite - funnel cakes. We watched some live shows put on my performers as well like a petting zoo, pig races, and a magic show. What an awesome day! Finally, it was late afternoon and time to head back home. I was feeling so tired from my adventurous weekend, but also really happy. I gave my aunt, uncle and cousins big hugs goodbye and thanked them for having me over. As we drovehome, I looked back at all the pictures my mom took on her camera. I had made so many wonderful memories! When we got home, I took a long bath to get cleaned up from the fair. Then I put on my comfy pajamas and slippers and relaxed on the couch. My parents ordered my favorite pizza for dinner and I replayed all the highlights from my super busy weekend in my mind. I couldn't wait to go back to school on Monday to tell my friends all about it. Weekends like this one are the best!篇6My Super Busy WeekendLast weekend was so much fun but also really tiring! I had so many things to do and places to go. It was kind of crazy but I loved every minute of it.On Friday after school, I went straight to basketball practice. We had been working super hard to get ready for our big game on Saturday morning against our rival team, the Thunderbolts. Coach Marcus put us through some really tough drills to make sure our dribbling and shooting were on point. By the time practice was over, I was exhausted! My arms felt like jelly. But Iknew I had to rest up because the next day was going to be even busier.Saturday morning, I woke up pretty early because our game started at 9am. I put on my uniform and brushed my teeth. Then I ate a big breakfast of pancakes, eggs, and orange juice to give me lots of energy. My dad drove me to the gym where we warmed up and got ready for the big game. I was kind of nervous but also really excited! The game was super intense from the very start. We were neck and neck with the Thunderbolts the whole time. With just a few minutes left, we were tied and it was anyone's game. I got the ball and did a big drive towards the hoop. A Thunderbolt player tried to steal it from me but I spun around him and took the shot...swish! The ball went right through the net. We won by 2 points! The crowd went wild cheering for us. I was so happy and proud of my team. After the game, we all went out for pizza and milkshakes to celebrate our victory. But my busy day wasn't over yet! After pizza, I had to rush home and get ready for my cousin's birthday party. I took a quick shower and changed into a fresh outfit. My mom did a cute hair braid for me and I was ready to go. The party was at a trampoline park - my favorite! As soon as we got there, I took off my shoesand went bounding around, flipping and jumping as high as I could. We played dodgeball and did tricks into the foam pit. It was a blast! After a couple of hours, we gathered around for cake and presents. My cousin loved the art supplies I got her. Finally, we headed home after the party. I was completely worn out. My body felt like a wet noodle! I put on my comfiest pajamas and face planted onto my bed. I spent the rest of the night relaxing and watching movies before going to sleep super early.Sunday was a nice day of rest after such a busy Saturday. I slept in late and had a calm morning eating pancakes in my pjs. In the afternoon, I met up with my friend Jake and we rode our bikes to the park to play on the swings and climb on the jungle gym. When I got home, I helped my dad wash his car by spraying it with the hose. He gave me a cup of soapy water and a big sponge so I could scrub too. It was fun getting all wet and sudsy!By Sunday night, I was feeling refreshed and recharged from my lazy day. Still, I could barely keep my eyes open after my jam-packed weekend. I snuggled up in my warm bed feeling happy about my basketball win, cousin's fun party, and getting to spend time with my dad too. I couldn't wait to tell my class all about my super busy weekend!。
The Busiest WeekendMy busiest weekend was filled with various activities and responsibilities that kept me constantly on the move.It was a whirlwind of events, each more demanding than the last, but also incredibly rewarding and memorable. The weekend began on Friday evening with a surprise birthday party for my best friend. It was a last-minute invitation, but I knew I couldn't miss it. I spent the evening laughing, dancing, and catching up with old friends, all while trying to keep up with the lively pace of the party.Saturday morning dawned bright and early, as I had volunteered to help organize a community cleanup event in our local park. With a group of eager volunteers, we set to work picking up litter, trimming bushes, and generally improving the appearance of the park. It was a hot and sweaty day, but the sense of accomplishment and pride wefelt when we saw the results of our efforts made it all worthwhile.Later in the afternoon, I had to rush home to preparefor a family dinner. My grandparents were visiting, and it was my turn to cook. I spent hours in the kitchen, chopping, stirring, and baking, all while trying to keep track of the various dishes that needed to be ready at the same time. By the time everyone sat down to eat, I was exhausted but satisfied with the meal I had prepared.Sunday was no less hectic. I had a stack of homework to finish, as well as preparations for a school project that was due the following week. I spent the morning buried in books and notes, trying to absorb as much information as possible. Then, in the afternoon, I had to head to thelibrary to gather additional resources for my project. To cap off the weekend, I attended a concert with some friends. The music was amazing, and the atmosphere was electric. It was a perfect way to unwind after a busy weekend, but by the time the concert ended, I was ready for a break.Reflecting on that weekend, I realize that it was a maddening whirlwind of activities, but it was alsoincredibly fulfilling. I got to spend time with friends andfamily, contribute to my community, and accomplish personal goals. It was a reminder that even the busiest days can be filled with meaning and joy if we choose to engage fully in the moments that matter most.**最忙的周末**我最忙的一个周末充满了各种各样的活动和责任,让我一直在忙碌中度过。

我有一个忙碌的周末英语作文五句话过去式全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1I Had Such a Busy Weekend! This past weekend was super packed with activities and fun times with my family! I barely had a chance to catch my breath between all the exciting things we did.On Saturday morning, my dad woke me up really early because we went on a hiking trip in the woods near our house. The trail was pretty long and had lots of hills, but I loved looking at all the different trees, bushes, and wildflowers we saw along the way. We even spotted a few deer drinking from a stream! By the time we finished, my legs were really tired but I felt so energized from the fresh air. When we got home, mom had a big lunch waiting for us with sandwiches, fruits, and veggies to refuel after our hike. After we ate, dad said we needed to do some yard work since the grass and bushes had gotten kind of overgrown while it was cold outside. I helped dad by raking up fallen leaves and sticks into big piles. Mom trimmed the hedges and bushes to make themlook neat again. Even though yard work is not my favorite, I felt really proud once our yard looked so clean and pretty!Later that evening, we all piled into the car and drove to my cousin's house for her birthday party. There were so many kids there to celebrate with games, cake, ice cream, and even a bouncy castle! I got to hang out with all my cousins and we jumped in the bouncy castle until we were exhausted. I also won a cool prize during the pinata game by being the one to finally break it open. What a fun party!Sunday started with me sleeping in until 10am because I was so worn out from the day before. Once I woke up though, my family and I went to visit my grandparents at their house. Grandma made her famous pancakes for breakfast and I got to eat so many of them slathered in sweet maple syrup! YUM! After we finished eating, grandpa took me and my brother out to his workshop to show us some of his latest wood carving projects. He is so talented at making beautiful animals and scenery out of plain blocks of wood. I hope I can be as good as him at carving one day.We spent the whole afternoon just relaxing and playing games at my grandparent's house. We didn't leave until right before dinner time because we were having so much funtogether. As we drove away waving goodbye, I could hardly keep my eyes open in the backseat. What an action-packed, tiring, but absolutely wonderful weekend it had been!篇2I Had a Really Busy WeekendLast weekend was super duper busy for me! On Friday after school, I went to my friend Timmy's birthday party. Timmy turned 8 years old, so his mom threw him a big party with lots of games and yummy snacks. We played musical chairs and pin the tail on the donkey. I won a prize for being the second place winner in musical chairs! I got a cool new cup with superheroes on it.After the party, my mom picked me up and we went straight to my soccer game. I played forward and scored two goals for my team, the Red Rockets! We beat the other team 4 to 2. I was so tired after running around so much, but I was really happy we won.On Saturday morning, I woke up extra early because I was going on a field trip with my Cub Scout troop. We took a bus way out to a forest and went on a long hike. Our leader Mr. Jenkins taught us how to identify different trees and plants. I found areally cool walking stick that I got to bring home. For lunch we made foil pack meals over the campfire - I had potatoes, carrots, and hot dogs in mine. It was super yummy! When I got home from the hike, I didn't have much time to rest because I had a birthday party sleepover to go to. It was for my friend Emily who was turning 9. There were 8 of us girls total. We swam in Emily's pool for a few hours, then had pizza and cake for dinner. After that we watched a really funny movie about a talking dog. I laughed so hard! For the sleepover part, we stayed up late building forts out of blankets and telling spooky stories. I got a little scared during the stories but I didn't want the other girls to think I was a baby. We finally fell asleep around 2am! I woke up at 9am on Sunday feeling so tired. My parents came to pick me up from Emily's house. I was dragging my feet because I was so sleepy. But we didn't go straight home - instead we went to my grandma and grandpa's house for their annual family cookout. All my aunts, uncles, and cousins were there. We had burgers, hot dogs, watermelon, and way too many desserts. The adults played cornhole and lawn darts while us kids ran around having fun. When we got home Sunday night, I collapsed into my bed feeling exhausted. It was such a jam-packed weekend! I was happy I got to do so many fun things, but I also couldn't wait to rest up for school on Monday. Weekends sure go by quickly when you stay busy. I just hoped I wouldn't be too tired for school the next day!篇3Last weekend was super duper busy! I had so much stuff to do. On Saturday morning, my mom woke me up really early because we had to go to my cousin's birthday party. I was still sleepy but I got dressed quickly and brushed my teeth. My dad drove us to the party place which was an indoor playground with lots of slides, ball pits, and climbing stuff. There were so many kids there! My cousin Bobby turned 7 years old. He's a year older than me. When we got there, he was running around with his friends screaming and laughing. The moms and dads were sitting at tables eating cake and pizza. Bobby's mom told him to open his presents, so all the kids gathered around. He got lots of cool toys like Lego sets, action figures, and a remote control car. I gave him a comic book that I picked out myself. After he opened everything, we all got to play in the playground area. I went straight for the biggest slide! It was a twisty tube slide that was at least three stories high. I climbed up and up, getting tired, but I finally made it to the top. Then I zipped down the slide, spinning around and around. It was so fast! I could feel the wind in my hair. When I got to the bottom, I was a little dizzy but I had a huge smile on my face. That slide was awesome!Next, I ran over to the ball pit area. There were brightly colored balls everywhere...red, blue, green, yellow. I jumped right in and started swimming through the balls. Pretty soon, a bunch of other kids joined me and we were just tossing the balls everywhere, having a total ball fight! The balls were flying all over the place. I got hit in the face a few times but I was laughing so hard I didn't even care. After a while of playing, we all had to stop for Bobby to cut the cake and open even more presents from his aunts, uncles, and grandparents. The cake was so cool...it was shaped like a racecar with red frosting and had these little toy cars all over it. Bobby blew out the candles and we all clapped and cheered. His mom cut us each a huge slice. I practically inhaled mine it was so yummy! We played some more at the playground after the cake until our parents said it was time to go. I was having such an awesome time, I didn't want to leave! But I knew my busy weekend wasn't over yet. In the car on the way home, my mom reminded me that we were going to my grandma's house the next day for her birthday too. I couldn't wait for more fun!篇4I Had a Busy WeekendLast weekend was very busy for me. It started on Friday after school. My mom picked me up and we went straight to the grocery store. We had to get food for the weekend because my aunt, uncle, and cousins were coming to visit. At the store, I helped my mom pick out fruits and vegetables.I got to put them in the cart. My favorite is bananas so I made sure we got lots of those. My mom let me pick a treat too so I chose chocolate chip cookies. After we paid, we loaded all the bags into our car. When we got home, my dad was already there waiting for us. He had taken the day off work to help get the house ready for our visitors. First, we all cleaned together. I had to tidy up my room and vacuum the floors. My mom cleaned the bathroomsand my dad dusted everywhere. We wanted the house to look nice and neat. After we finished cleaning, it was time to start cooking. My mom and dad cooked a huge dinner with turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, salad, and pumpkin pie. I was the taste tester and got to try a little bit of everything as they cooked. It all tasted so good! The house smelled amazing.Just as we finished setting the table, the doorbell rang. It was my aunt, uncle, and three cousins - twins who are my age and a younger cousin. I was so excited to see them! We don't get to visit very often since they live far away.We all sat down for the big dinner my parents cooked. My aunt and uncle brought wine for the grownups. Us kids drank juice and milk. Everyone ate until they were completely stuffed. I had seconds of the mashed potatoes because they're my favorite. For dessert, we had the delicious pumpkin pie my mom made from scratch. After dinner, the grownups talked and relaxed while us kids played together. My cousins and I ran around having so much fun. We played endless games of tag, hid and went seek, and had a big pretend battle. I was tired out by the end of the night! The next morning, we all slept in late. Chinese school is not my favorite thing ever, but my parents say it's important for me to learn the language. I did all my homework and tried my hardest on the quiz we had. Even though Chinese is tough, I'm glad I'm learning it.After Chinese school, my dad took me to the park to play catch and fly a kite. It was such a nice sunny day to be outside. Even though I was really tired, I felt happy looking back at all the fun things I did. I can't wait for anotherjam-packed weekend soon!篇6I had such a busy weekend! On Saturday morning, my mom woke me up really early because we had lots of things to do. First, we went to the grocery store to buy food for the week. The shopping carts got super heavy with all the fruits, vegetables, milk, eggs, and other yummy things we put in them. After we brought all the groceries home and put them away, my dad said we needed to go to the hardware store next.He was fixing up the backyard and needed to get some new tools, wood, nails, and other supplies. I pushed the flatbed cart around the giant hardware store while my dad picked out what he needed. There were so many aisles with all kinds of stuff forworking on houses and yards. I saw lawnmowers, shovels, rakes, paintbrushes, and a zillion other tools. It was kind of overwhelming! But it was also really cool to imagine what my dad could build or fix with all that stuff. When we finally finished at the hardware store, we went home and had a quick lunch. Then my dad worked on the backyard while my mom started cooking an extra big dinner for that night. We were having my aunt, uncle, and cousins over for a family cookout. My job was to help my mom get ready for when they arrived.I set the table, arranged the placemats and napkins, and put out plates, cups, and utensils for everyone. My mom made a huge salad, baked some potatoes, cooked hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill, and more! The kitchen was a crazy whirlwind of activity. Just as we were finishing up, the doorbell rang. My cousins had arrived! We all ran outside to play together while the adults stayed in to chat and get the food ready. We ran around chasing each other, played on the swingset, had races, and just went totally wild enjoying the nice weather. Eventually my mom called us in for dinner. We devoured all the yummy food so fast! Afterwards, we went back outdoors and my dad had built us an awesomenew fort out of the wood from the hardware store. We played in the fort, shooting Nerf guns and staging epic battles until it started getting dark out.My cousins had to go home then, so we sadly said goodbye. But I wasn't too sad because the very next day was Sunday and my family was going to my grandparent's house! We had to wake up bright and early again to get ready and make the drive over there. When we arrived, the whole family was waiting - aunts, uncles, cousins, my grandma and grandpa, and even some friends I didn't know. There were so many people!First we all had a big breakfast of pancakes, waffles, bacon, eggs, orange juice, and more. My grandma makes the best breakfast ever. After we ate, the adults sat around talking while all the kids went outside to run around and play games. We had a huge Easter egg hunt in the backyard, searching everywhere for the colorful eggs filled with candy and treats. I found a ton of them!Once we were good and worn out from the hunt and games, we went back inside to open presents. My grandparents gave me new toys, books, clothes, and even some cash! I was so excited. The rest of the day was filled with eating more delicious food, hanging out with my family, and just having an all-aroundamazing time. By the time we had to leave to go home that night, I was completely tuckered out.I fell asleep in the car on the ride home. Whew, what ajam-packed weekend! Between the grocery shopping, hardware store, family cookout, fort building, egg hunt at grandma and grandpa's, and all the other activities, I was one busy kid. Weekends like that are the best though - filled with fun, quality family time, and making lots of great memories. I can't wait for another weekend like that to come around again soon!。
My Busy WeekendsMy weekends are often filled with a diverse array of activities, each one adding a unique flavor to my already busy schedule. Saturdays are typically reserved for my academic pursuits, while Sundays offer a blend ofrelaxation and social engagement. On Saturdays, the alarm clock rings early, signaling the start of a productive day. My first task is usually tackling my homework and preparing for the upcoming week's classes. This involves delving into textbooks, scribbling notes, and occasionally engaging in online discussions with classmates. The quietude of the morning hours is conducive to deep concentration, and I find myself immersed in the world of academics, forgetting the hustle and bustle of the outside world. After a satisfying session of academic endeavors, I turn my attention to extracurricular activities. Depending on the season, this could mean participating in sports training, attending music lessons, or volunteering at community events. These activities not only help me developnew skills but also provide an opportunity to meet and interact with people from diverse backgrounds. As the afternoon rolls around, I often find myself heading to the library or a quiet coffee shop to continue my studies or catch up on some reading. The calm atmosphere and the availability of resources make these places ideal for furthering my knowledge and broadening my horizons.Sundays, on the other hand, tend to be more relaxed. I usually start the day with a leisurely breakfast, catching up on news or reading a good book. This is followed by a trip to the gym or a walk in the park, which helps me unwind and rejuvenate after a week of hard work.In the afternoon, I often meet up with friends for a casual lunch or a movie. These social interactions provide a break from the routine and are a great way to strengthen bonds and share experiences. Sometimes, we even organize small gatherings or events, which add a fun and lively element to my weekends.Evenings are usually reserved for family time. Whether it's watching a movie together, playing a board game, or simply catching up on each other's lives, these moments arecherished and help strengthen the bonds within our household. As the weekend draws to a close, I take some time to reflect on the past few days and plan for the coming week. This involves setting goals, making to-do lists, and ensuring that I'm well-prepared for the challenges that lie ahead. In conclusion, my weekends are a busy but fulfilling blend of academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, relaxation, and social engagement. While they may not always be as leisurely as I would like, they provide me with a sense of accomplishment and balance that is crucial for maintaining a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle.**我的繁忙周末**我的周末往往充满了各种各样的活动,每一项都为原本忙碌的日程增添了独特的色彩。

From morning till evening, my schedule was jam-packed with various activities and responsibilities. My day started bright and early at 7 am when I had to attend a morning workout class at the gym. I usually enjoy exercising, but on this day, I felt exhausted and just wanted to stay in bed. However, I forced myself to get up and go, knowing that I needed to stay healthy and fit. After my workout, I rushed home to quickly shower and have breakfast before heading off to volunteer at a local animal shelter. I had signed up to walk dogs and clean cages for the morning shift, and even though it was hard work, it was also incredibly rewarding to see the joy on the animals' faces.By the time I finished at the shelter, it was already lunchtime, so I grabbed a quick bite to eat before rushing off to meet some friends for a group study session. We had an upcoming exam to prepare for, so we spent the afternoon poring over our notes and quizzing each other on the material. After study session, I had to rush home to quickly change before heading off to my part-time job at a local cafe. I work as a barista on weekends, and the cafe was always busy on Sundays, with long lines of customers waiting to order their favorite drinks. As the evening approached, I finally had some free time to relax, so I decided to spend the rest of the day at home, catching up on some reading and watching a movie. It was amuch-needed break after a hectic day, and I was grateful for the chance to unwind and recharge.Despite the busyness of my Sunday, I was grateful for all the experiences and opportunities that came my way. Each activity I participated in added something positive to my day, whether it was helping animals in need, studying with friends, or making delicious coffee for customers. In the end, I realized that even though I was busy from morning till night, I had also managed to make the most of mytime and create memories that would last a lifetime. Sundays may be meant for rest, but sometimes, a busy day can be just as fulfilling and rewarding.篇3My Busy SundayLast Sunday was a whirlwind of activity for me. From dawn until dusk, I was constantly on the go, juggling various responsibilities and commitments. It was a true test of my time management skills and endurance, but I emerged feeling accomplished and fulfilled by the end of the day.My day began bright and early with a morning jog around the neighborhood. Exercise is important to me, so I always make it a priority to start my Sundays with a good workout. As I ran, I could feel the cool morning air filling my lungs, invigorating me for the day ahead. The peaceful stillness of the early morning was the perfect time for reflection and mental preparation for the busy day that lay ahead. After my jog, I headed back home to quickly shower and grab a bite to eat before heading out to volunteer at a local charity event. I had signed up to help out with a community clean-up project, and I was excited to lend a hand in making apositive impact on the environment. Armed with garbage bags and gloves, I spent the next few hours picking up litter and debris around the park. It was hard work, but seeing the transformation of the once-trash strewn park into a clean and beautiful space made it all worth it.After the clean-up event, I rushed home to change into more formal attire for a family gathering later in the day. My cousin was celebrating her birthday, and the entire extended family was gathering for a big party at a nearby restaurant. I arrived just in time to join in the festivities, catching up with relatives and enjoying delicious food and laughter. It was a joyous occasion, and I was grateful for the opportunity to spend quality time with my loved ones.As the evening wore on, I bid farewell to my family and headed off to my next commitment of the day – a study group session with classmates for an upcoming exam. We spent several hours poring over textbooks, sharing notes, and quizzing each other on the material. Despite the intense focus and brainpower required, I found the study session to be productive and beneficial in helping me prepare for the exam.By the time the study group wrapped up, it was late into the night. Exhausted but satisfied with all that I had accomplishedthat day, I returned home and collapsed into bed, ready to recharge for the week ahead. Despite the hectic schedule and constant running around, I felt a sense of pride in how I had managed to balance my various commitments and make the most of my busy Sunday. In conclusion, my busy Sunday was a true test of my time management skills and endurance, but it was also a day filled with meaningful activities and valuable experiences. From volunteering at a community clean-up event to celebrating a family birthday and studying for an exam, I managed to juggle multiple responsibilities and emerge feeling accomplished and fulfilled by the end of the day. It was a day that highlighted the importance of setting priorities, managing time effectively, and finding joy in the hustle and bustle of a busy schedule. I look forward to more days like these, where I can challenge myself to take on new tasks and make meaningful contributions to my community and academic journey.。

Let me share my adventure with you.On Saturday morning, I woke up early because my mom and dad planned a big cleaning day for our house. We had to organize our rooms, dust the furniture, and vacuum the floors. It was hard work, but we made our house sparkle! We played some music and had a cleaning dance party to make it more fun. Even though it was tiring, I felt proud of our clean and tidy home. After all the cleaning, my parents surprised me with a trip to the park. I love outdoor activities! We played frisbee, had a picnic, and even flew a kite. Running around and feeling the fresh air made me forget about being tired. We laughed a lot and had a great time together. On Sunday, my mom signed me up for a soccer tournament.I was excited but a little nervous too. We had to play three matches, and each game was intense. I ran up and down the field, trying my best to score goals and defend our team's net. We won two matches and tied one. I was so proud of my teammates and myself. Even though I was exhausted, the feeling of teamwork and accomplishment made it all worth it.In the evening, I had a music lesson. I play the piano, and I had to practice a new song for an upcoming recital. My fingers felt tired, but I knew I had to keep going. Practice makes perfect, right? It was hard work, but music always makes me happy.By the time Sunday night came, I was really tired. I took a warm bath and snuggled up in my cozy bed. I'm still recovering from all the running around. Let me tell you all about it.It started on Saturday morning bright and early. My mom woke me up at 7am because we had to get ready for my cousin Timmy's birthday party over in Fairview. I could barely keep my eyes open as I put on my favorite Spiderman t-shirt and jean shorts."Logan, hurry up! We're going to be late," my mom hollered from downstairs. I stuffed my feet into my light-up sneakers and raced down to meet her. I was pretty hungry since I had skipped breakfast. We drove for what felt like forever to get to the party place - Buddy's Playland. It's this huge indoor playground with all sorts of inflatable bouncy houses, slides, and climbing structures. As soon as we arrived, I spotted Timmy and some of my other friends running around like maniacs. "Logan's here!" Timmy yelled when he saw me. I ditched my mom and joined the chaos. For two whole hours, we jumped, slid, crawled, and bounced our way through the entire place. We played infinite games of tag and had competitions to see who could jump the highest. My face was completely red and I was drenched in sweat by the time they called us over for pizza and cake. After wolfing down three slices of pepperoni pizza and a giant slice of chocolate birthday cake, we were unleashed back into the playground madness. I must have gone down those crazy twisty slides a million times. I was having a blast, but I was already starting to feel a little tired. Finally, it was time to leave when the party ended at 1pm. I was completely exhausted, but I didn't have any time to rest. Mydad had scheduled me for baseball practice across town at 2o'clock. We had to rush out of the party and I chugged down a Gatorade in the car.Baseball practice was agony after how much energy I had already spent at the party. I could barely grip the bat and my throws to the infielders were pathetic. Coach Brown kept riding me for not paying attention during drills. My legs felt like heavy cinder blocks weighing me down. A couple times I completely missed easy grounders and let them roll right through my legs.I've never been so relieved when practice mercifully ended at 4pm. I dragged my sweat-drenched self into the car and immediately passed out before we even left the parking lot. The next thing I knew, my dad was shaking me awake when we got home. I felt like I had been run over by a truck. While my parents started cooking dinner, I grabbed a Popsicle and plopped myself onto the couch to watch TV and rest my sore body. I must have dozed off again because the next thing I remember was my dad gently shaking me awake when dinner was ready.I forced down a few bites of spaghetti and a piece of garlic bread before stumbling up to my room and collapsing straightinto bed at 7pm. I never went to bed that early! Within seconds, I was snoring away into a deep, deep sleep. The next morning, I woke up around 9am finally feeling somewhat rested after over 14 hours of sleep. Huge sunbeams were poking through the window blinds, urging me to start my day. My tummy was growling because I had barely eaten any dinner.I plodded downstairs where my mom had made a gigantic stack of pancakes, sizzling bacon, and scrambled eggs for me. As I devoured my humongous breakfast, I started to feel somewhat human again after my overexerting day before."What did you want to do today?" my mom asked with a smile as I licked the maple syrup off my plate."Just this," I replied with a satisfied belch, patting my pleasantly full belly. I spent the entire篇3I Had an Exhausting WeekendThis weekend was the most tiring one I've had in a long time! It was just jam-packed full of activities and running around. Bythe time Sunday night rolled around, I could barely keep my eyes open. Let me tell you all about my crazy weekend. It all started on Saturday morning bright and early. My mom woke me up at 7am, which is super early for a weekend! Normally I love sleeping in until at least 9 or 10am on Saturdays. But this Saturday, I had to get up because we were going to my little cousin's soccer game.My cousin Molly is 8 years old and she just started playing soccer this season. Even though she's little, she's really good! Her team is called the Pink Unicorns and they have these awesome uniforms with unicorns and rainbows on them. So cute!We loaded up into the car with my aunt, uncle, and other cousin Jake who is 11. We had to drive all the way across town to get to the soccer fields where Molly's game was. There was a ton of traffic and it took us like an hour to get there! When we finally made it, the game was just getting started. We rushed over to the sidelines and quickly set up our camping chairs. My dad had this huge vibrant pink and yellowpolka-dotted umbrella that he raised up to give us some shade from the blazing sun. I'm not joking, it was so hot that day!The game was really exciting and fun to watch. Molly scored 2 goals for her team! We were cheering our heads off every time she got the ball. However, the Pink Unicorns ended up losing 4-3. Molly was pretty upset about that and had some tears. But we reassured her that she played awesome and gave her a big team celebration at our favorite pizza place after the game.I thought for sure we'd get to go home and relax after pizza. But, my mom had other plans! Next up was my big brother's high school basketball game across town again. So we quickly inhaled our pizza, ran to the car, and rushed over to the high school. The basketball game was not quite as exciting as Molly's soccer game if I'm being honest. High schoolers are pretty tall and the gameplay was a lot of just dribbling up and down the court. My brother's team ended up winning though, which was cool. I was really hoping we could leave right after that game finally ended around 4pm.But again, we couldn't go home just yet! We had to swing by the grocery store on the way home because my mom needed to pick up some things for a family dinner we were having that night. My dad, Jake, and I weren't too excited about having to go to the store. By that point, we were already dragging and crankyfrom being out in the sun and running around to different games all day. Finally, after what felt like an eternity at the grocery store, we made it back home around 5:30pm. I thought for sure I'd get a little downtime to play or watch TV. But almost immediately, my mom recruited me to help get everything ready for our family dinner. My aunt, uncle, cousins and grandparents were all coming over. So we had to get the house nice and clean. I had to vacuum the entire downstairs while my brother dusted and cleaned the bathrooms. My dad was mowing the yard and setting up some outdoor games and activities in the backyard. We were running around like crazy people!By 6pm, everyone started arriving for dinner. I was already worn out just from prepping, but I had to be "on" and social for the next few hours while our family celebrated my cousin's 14th birthday. I love them, but having that many people over is just exhausting sometimes, you know?We had a huge homemade taco bar for dinner, which was delicious but also meant more work prepping and serving everything. After dinner, we played some backyard games likecornhole and kan-jam. My cousin got some awesome presents for her birthday too, like a new bike and some clothes. Finally, around 9pm our family started leaving one by one. As much as I love them, I was so relieved when the last ones walked out the door! I was a zombie at that point from utter exhaustion. My parents made me take a shower before bed to wash off all the sweat, grass stains, and dirt from the day's activities. I could barely keep my eyes open as I got ready for bed. I climbed under the covers and quickly passed out cold! The next morning, I pretty much slept in until 11am. I was still so tired! My mom let me have a lazy day watching TV and playing video games since we had been so busy the day before. I definitely needed that day of rest to recover from my exceptionally exhausting weekend. While it was super fun having my family over and getting to watch Molly play soccer, it sure was an insanely busy couple of days. By the end, I was utterly drained from all the running around, games, prepping, hosting, and socializing we did. Weekends are supposed to be relaxing, but this one was flat-out tiring! Hopefully next weekend will involve way more lounging at home. A kid can only handle so much excitement and activitiesbefore wearing themselves out! I look forward to a calmer couple of days to recharge. But this past weekend was definitely a memorable one that I'll never forget.篇4A Tiring WeekendLast weekend was probably one of the most exhausting weekends I've ever had! It was just non-stop action from the moment I woke up on Saturday morning until I flopped into bed on Sunday night. I'm still feeling a little sleepy even as I write this essay for my English class. It all started on Saturday when my little brother came running into my room at the crack of dawn, jumping up and down on my bed. "Wake up, wake up! Mom says we have to get ready for my baseball game!" he shouted right in my ear. I groggily opened one eye to see that it was only 7am. Doesn't he know that kids my age need more sleep than that on the weekends? But there was no point in arguing, so I dragged myself out of my nice warm bed and got dressed. Mom made us some breakfast burritos to eat in the car on the way to the baseball fields. My brother was so excited he could hardly sit still duringthe 30 minute drive to the ballpark. Once we got there, he ran off to join his teammates for their warm-up while Mom and I found a spot on the hard metal bleachers to watch the game.It was a hot, sunny day with no clouds or breeze at all. I was sweating after just a few minutes sitting out in the sun's beating rays. The game was pretty boring to watch too, since my brother's team isn't very good. They ended up losing 12-2. But at least my little brother had fun, I guess. As soon as the game finished at noon, we had to rush off because Mom had signed me up for a 3-hour art class that afternoon. In the car, I scrunched down my baseball cap and tried to take a nap, but Mom kept asking me questions about snacks and supplies for the class. We grabbed a quick lunch from the drive-thru on the way.The art class was painting ceramic figurines. I've never been much of an artist, but it was kind of relaxing just zoning out and painting. My figurine turned out....well, not terrible, but definitely not good either. Just a big blob of colors really. The class lasted until 5pm, by which point I was already dragging my feet. When we got home, there was no rest for the weary. Mom's sister and her family were coming over for a big dinner celebration. You see, it was my cousin's 10th birthday that day.So while my mom started cooking up a feast, I had to tidy up my room and then help set the dining room table all fancy with cloth napkins and nice dishes.Around 6pm, my aunt, uncle, and cousins arrived with presents and a big ice cream cake. My cousin looked so happy and proud to be having her double-digit birthday party. But I just wanted to lie down for a bit! Instead, I had to make small talk with my adult relatives and play endless rounds of Kid Charades with my rambunctious younger cousins. Mom had made all my cousin's favorite foods - roast chicken, mac and cheese, green beans with crispy onion strings. It all smelled amazing, but I was so exhausted I could barely taste it.After dinner, we sang "Happy Birthday" to my cousin and watched as she made a wish and blew out the candles on her towering ice cream cake. Then it was time for...you guessed it...more games and activities! We played musical chairs and freeze dance and had a general crazy kid thunderdome going in the living room. Finally, around 10pm, my aunt and uncle could see that all us kids were running on fumes, so they said their goodbyes and took their sugared-up offspring home.I didn't even have the energy to take a shower before falling into bed that night. I just peeled off my clothes, pulled on mypajamas, and crashed hard until morning. Phew, what an insanely busy day!I thought for sure I'd be able to just lounge around and relax on Sunday after all that chaos. But nooooo. My mom had us all back up at 8am to go to church. I'll spare you the details, but let's just say my butt was propped on that hard wooden pew for what felt like an eternity as the priest droned on and on.After church, we had the standard big family lunch at a diner with all the old people from our parish. I zoned out, picking at my chicken fingers while my grandparents and great-aunts discussed their latest health issues and medications. Riveting stuff! When we finally got back home around 2pm, I begged my mom to just leave me alone for the rest of the day. Shockingly, she agreed! I spent the entire afternoon lying on the couch, half-watching reruns on TV and checking social media on my phone, too zapped to do anything else. Even my little brother was conked out, napping in his room after one too many weekends catching up on sleep.Monday morning ultimately came as a relief when I could stop all the madness and just go back to regular school篇5I Had an Exhausting WeekendThis weekend was so crazy and busy that I'm still feeling tired even though it's Monday morning already. I guess I should have tried to rest up more on Friday after school, but there was just too much fun stuff to do!It all started when my best friend Sammy called me up and asked if I wanted to go to the new trampoline park that just opened up in town. How could I say no to that? Trampoline parks are the best! We had been looking forward to this one opening for months. My mom dropped us off at 4pm after I finished all my homework and chores. The place was huge with all kinds of different trampolines - they had angled wall trampolines to bounce off of, long runway trampolines to do flips on, and even a big foam pit to jump into. Sammy and I ran around trying everything, flipping and bouncing and laughing our heads off. After a couple hours of that, we were already feeling a little worn out. But the trampoline park had an arcade too, so we had to stay and play games for a while. I was the Skee-Ball champion, but Sammy kicked my butt at air hockey. Finally, my mom had to come pick us up at 8pm when they closed because we could barely even walk anymore. My legs felt like jelly from bouncing so much! We convinced her to take us for burgers and shakes on the way home because we had worked up quite an appetite with all that jumping around.I passed out as soon as I got home and barely woke up in time for soccer practice at 9am on Saturday morning. Ugh, who schedules a practice for 9am on a Saturday?? I could barely keep my eyes open as we did our stretches and dribbling drills. The practice games didn't go too well for me. I kept missing easy shots on goal and made a bunch of sloppy passes. My coach kept yelling "Wake up out there, Johnson! You're being lazy today!" But I really was just exhausted from the night before. After practice, I had to rush home and get ready because my aunt and uncle were coming over for a birthday party for my little cousin who turned 5 years old. So much for getting to take a nap!We had the party at a bouncy house place because what5-year-old doesn't love bouncy houses? As if I hadn't bounced enough the night before at the trampoline park! But I still had fun going down the huge slide and climbing through the obstacle courses with my cousin and younger siblings. The party also had swimming, so we spent a few hours in the pool. My cousin loved jumping in and having me catch her over and over again. By the end, my arms felt like overcooked spaghetti from holding her up so much. Finally, after singing happy birthday and stuffing ourselves with pizza and cake, the party was over around 5pm. You'd think I would get to rest then, but no way! My dad then took me and my brothers to run errands with him to pick up gardening supplies and get a couple new tools from the hardware store. We got home after 7pm and I was just completely beat. My dad tried to convince me to come watch a movie with the family, but I couldn't even keep my eyes open anymore. I snuck off to my bedroom and collapsed onto my bed, falling asleep instantly without even changing into pajamas.I don't know how I managed to wake up on time for church the next morning, but I sure didn't feel very rested or refreshed. I practically zombie-walked through the whole mass trying my hardest not to doze off. After church, we had the weekly big family lunch at my grandparent's house. I'm usually really excited to go there because my grandparents make the best food and always havefun games for us to play. But this time, I just wanted to go home and take a篇6My Tiring WeekendLast weekend was supposed to be fun and relaxing, but it ended up being really tiring. It all started on Friday after school. Mom and Dad had been planning a surprise for me and my little brother, Tommy. They told us to pack our bags because we were going on a trip!"Where are we going?" I asked, feeling excited."It's a surprise!" Dad said with a big smile. "You'll find out when we get there."Tommy and I could hardly sit still in the car. We kept guessing where we might be going. The beach? The mountains? Disneyland? The drive felt like it took forever. Finally, after what seemed like a million years, we pulled up to a big wooden cabin in the middle of the forest. "A cabin?!" I exclaimed. "Cool!""We're going camping!" Mom announced happily.Tommy looked a little worried. "Won't there be bugs and stuff?"Dad laughed. "Don't worry, buddy. It'll be fun, I promise."The first night wasn't too bad. We roasted marshmallows over the campfire and told spooky stories. I tried to scare Tommy, but he's braver than he looks. When it was time for bed, we all squished together in the small cabin. It was cozy, but a little cramped. The next morning, Dad woke us up bright and early. "Rise and shine, campers! Who wants to go on a hike?"Mom had packed us all healthy trail mix and water bottles. The hike started out nice. We saw some cute chipmunks and beautiful wildflowers. But after a couple of hours, my feet started to hurt and I got really tired."Are we there yet?" I whined."Just a little further," Dad promised. But it felt like we walked for miles and miles. When we finally made it back to the cabin, I was exhausted. My legs felt like jelly. Tommy looked just as worn out as me. We both flopped down on the cozy couch, grateful for a break."Who's hungry for hot dogs?" Mom asked cheerfully. She tried to get us to go outside and play, but Tommy and I were too tired. We just wanted to rest. Dad ended up having to start the campfire and cook the hot dogs all by himself. That night, I had the hardest time falling asleep. I tossed and turned in my sleeping bag, listening to the sounds of the forest. Something was hooting and screeching out there. It was kinda creepy."Do you hear that?" I whispered to Tommy. He nodded, looking a little scared. "What if it's a bear?"We stayed up for what felt like hours, our eyes wide open, afraid to move a muscle. When we finally did fall asleep, we slept like logs, completely konked out.The next morning, I woke up feeling stiff and achy. Sleeping on the ground is not comfortable at all! Mom made us flip our sleeping bags over so we wouldn't get crumbs everywhere while she cooked pancakes for breakfast. After we ate, Mom and Dad wanted us to go on another hike. But Tommy and I were just too tired from yesterday."Can't we just stay here and relax?" I begged."Yeah, my legs still hurt from all that walking," Tommy added.Mom and Dad seemed a little disappointed, but they agreed to let us just hang out at the cabin. Thank goodness, because I don't think my poor feet could have handled another long hike.Instead of going out, we played cards and worked on some crafts Mom had prepared. It was nice to just take it easy for a while. But I have to admit, after being cooped up in the little cabin all day, I started feeling a bit antsy.By the time evening rolled around, we were all ready to go home. As much fun as camping had been, I was really looking forward to sleeping in my own comfy bed again. We packed up all of our things and headed back home. When we finally made it back, I was one tuckered out kid. I dragged myself up to my room and flopped down on my bed, not even bothering to change out of my clothes. I was asleep before my head even hit the pillow.Camping had been an adventure for sure, but I don't think I've ever been so tired in my whole life! My feet and legs were sore for days afterwards. Next time, I'll make sure to bring some extra cushy sleeping mats and lots of snacks for energy. A girl'sgotta be prepared, you know? Although to be honest, part of me wouldn't mind just staying home and taking it easy next weekend. Is that so wrong?。
一个忙碌的周末高中英语作文

Today is Monday; I wake up at 6 oclock in the morning. Then I have my breakfast at home and take the subway to school. I am quite e_cited about this day, because our chemistry teacher will teach us to do an interesting
e_periment. This e_periment is about how to create soap. Last week, the chemistry teacher promised that we would have something fun in this week. Making our own special soap is the mission in this class.
When the e_perience begins, the whole class is very
e_citing; we mi_ the oil, water and lye. You need to be very careful, because the lye is harmful to the skin. Then we will stir the oil and lye for about ten minutes, the chemistry reaction will make the liquid into solid. Then the soap es into being. Although the process is
tired, we have a lot of fun. The most important thing is we learn how to make soap. The time passes so quickly,we feel very busy but learn a lot of useful things.
