文体概述
英语日记一般记录一天发生的事件或是自己感受最深的事，可分为记事、议论、描写、抒情等。写英语日记要注意下面几点：
一、格式
英语日记由书端和正文组成。书端指写日记的星期、日期和天气，顶格写在左上角，先写星期，再写日期，最后写天气。(例如：Friday February 26th, 2016 Sunny)
二、时态
谓语动词多用一般过去时态，但是要根据具体情况使用其他时态。
三、写正文时应注意的问题
1. 围绕一个主题来展开。
2. 若无法用已学语言知识来表达某种意思，可采用“同义转换法”。
3. 结尾最好用一句话来总结自己的感想或体会。
套用句式
这是我第一次做……This was the first time that I had done sth.

Sunday March 20, 2016 Fine
This morning when I was taking a walk in the park, I saw a foreigner enjoying the beauty of the city. This was the first time that I had seen a foreigner. I wanted to talk with him, but I was so excited and nervous that I didn’t know what to do and how to start a conversation, though I did well in English classes.
Eager to practise my spoken English, I encouraged myself and went to say hello and welcome to him. He was very friendly and we talked for about 15 minutes. As a native, I introduced some tourist attractions and tasty food to him. Finally, he gave me some advice on how to further improve my English. It was more than an experience!

This afternoon I took part in an organized activity with the theme of “Human Activities and Wildlife Protection”in the science museum. From the activity, I learn that at present the environment is being destroyed because of people’s harmful activities, which causes a decrease of wildlife. Besides, many people hunt wild animals for their meat and money.
To make matters worse, in response, the decrease is doing harm to people’s life. So it is necessary to take effective measures to protect our environment, such as creating wildlife reserves and passing laws to raise the awareness of wildlife protection. Wild animals are friends of our human beings. To protect them is to protect ourselves. All in all, I benefited a lot from today’s activity.
