The low-noise centrifugal pumps are new products made t-hrough a long-term development and according to the require-ment to the noise in the environmental protection of the new century and, as their main feature, the motor uses water-coo-ling instead of the air-cooling,which reduces the energy loss of the pump and the noise, really an en vi ronmental p rotectione - nergy-saving p roducto f n ew generation.

The r ange of performance of t he l ow-noise pump i s the s-ame as that of model SLS and SLW available in this Co. and they are all developed per ISO2858.It includes four kinds:

Model SLZ vertical low-noise pump;

Model SLZW horizontal low-noise pump;

Model SLZD vertical low-speed low-noise pump;

Model SLZWD horizontal low-speed low-noise pump; F or S LZ a nd S LZW,the rotating s peed is 2 950rpm and,of

the range of performance,the flow 300m /h and the head 150m.

For SLZD and S LZWD, the rot at ing spe ed is1480rpm and 3980rpm,the flow 1500m /h,the head 80m. The a perture o f the p um p is availab le fro m 40m mto 500mm,extensively meeting with v arious d emands. To f urther save energy and close t o t he actual r unning co-ndition,the outer diameter of the impeller of the pumps of each specification may be cut per the actual running condition(with A,B,C shown next to the model).

As of t he voltage,those motors l ess t han 1.1kwa re 220-380V and those more than 1.1kw are all 380V .

One of the noise sources of the electric centrifugal pump c-

omes from the air-cooling system of the motor, to which, this

Co. changes the way of cooling into water one through a long-

term study and, as a result, the noise has been greatly lowered,

in addition, a measure to lower the noise is used on the hydrau-

lic design and new requirements are also set to the manufacture

precisio n and the bearing choice, thus further reducing the run-

ning noise of the pump assembly.

More noise reduction can also be made available by using

the low-speed low-niose pump of this Co.for the users such as

hospitals, hotels, business buildings of high-grade where a m-

ore peaceful working environment is required.

The pump assembly's noise can be the complex action of th-

ese measures, lowered by 5-20dB.

At the same time to reduce the noise, the power loss of the

pump also gets lower than that of the ordinary ones due to free

of a blower, by 5%-10% in general.

The low-noise pump uses the coaxial structure, i.e. the im-

peller of it is mounted on the extended part of the motor's shaft,

which is supported by the bearing of the motor, There is also

the cooling water around the outer of the bearing chamber in

order to ensure the bearing to reliably work and extend its life

as well as to ensure a stable run of the pump. The said structure

can also omit the procedure to aim the pump shaft at the motor's

one during assembly and installation and enhance the effective

time of running of the pump, and, for the vertical on e, can low

the height of installation and make running more stable.

The vertical pump uses a pipeline structur e and can be dir-

ectly connected to the pipeline just like a valve, the pipeline n-

eed not to be removed during an overhaul.

The horizontal pump uses an end-suction structure which is

compact and can be used to replace IS pump.

The low-noise pump uses qualified mechanical sealings and

has gone through the running in spection before ex-works, thus

ensuring non-leak during a long time running and the cleaness

on the place where it works.

The hydraulic parts of the pump use an advanced hydraulic

model so as to get a better effect of pumping and also ensure a

beteer(NPSH)r value.
