Unit7 It’s raining

Period 1 (Section A 1a – 2d)

【教学目标】

一、知识目标:

1. 本节单词: rain, windy, cloudy, sunny, snow, weather, cook, bad, park, message, him, could, back, problem

2. 重点短语:take a message, call sb. back

3. 重点句型:—How’s the weather in Beijing? / What’s the weather like in Beijing? — It’s sunny

— How’s it going? —Not bad, thanks.

— What is she doing? — She is cooking

— Could you tell him to call me back? — No problem

二. 能力目标:能询问及回答天气情况和谈论正在发生的事情

三. 情感目标:关注主要城市的天气情况

【教学重难点】

1. 重点单词,短语。

2. 重点句型及听力口语训练。

教学过程:

Step 1: 教师检查学生对本单元单词拼读的预习情况

Step 2:Look at the signs of the pictures, and talk about what they mean?

Step 3: 教师引导学生观察1a的插图,配对单词: raining, windy, cloudy, sunny, snowing

Step 4: 看图说天气,引出询问天气情况的对话:

—How’s the weather ? / What’s the weather like?— It’s raining

Step 5: Listening 1b, and then check the answer

Step 6: Pairwork 1c:talk about the weather in 1a:

—How’s the weather in Beijing? / What’s the weather like in Beijing? — It’s sunny

Step 7:Pairwork: talk about the weather with your friend on the phone

Step 8:Task:According to the map of weather, make a weather report:

Step 9: Listening 2a &2b, and then check the answer

Step 10: Pairwork 2c: Talk about what the people is doing in 2a with a partner.

Step 11: Conversation 2d

1. Read the conversation in 2d and answer the questions.

2. Role-play the conversation

Step 12:Analyze the language in 2d

1. rain v. 动词,下雨It’s raining in Tianjin now.

rain n. 不可数名词,雨水There is a lot of rain in summer in our city.

snow v.动词,下雪n. 不可数名词“雪”

cloud n. 为可数名词There are a lot of clouds in the sky.

2.weather 是不可数名词, 意为“天气; 气候”, 常用it 来指.

What fine/ bad weather(it is)!多么好/ 糟糕的天气啊!

--How is the weather?/ What’s the weather like? --It’s + adj.

3.---How’s it going? 情况怎么样?= How’s everything? = How’s your day?

--Great. / Pretty good/ Everything is going well. / Not bad/ Just so so /Terrible

How’s it going with sb/sth ? 某人处境或事情进展如何:

How is it going with Mary’s study?

How’s it going with them?

4. Sounds like you’re having a good time. 听起来你玩得好开心。

= It sounds like you’re …

(It) sounds like they are having a good time.

(1) 玩得开心have a good time =have fun= enjoy oneself

(2) 反身代词(oneself)

第一二人称:myself/ yourself / ourselves/ yourselves

第三人称:himself/ herself/ themselves.

5. take a message for sb. 给某人捎口信

leave a message for sb. 给某人留口信

6. No problem. 没有问题。

(1) 用于回答感谢--Thank you very much. --No problem.

(2) 用来回答道歉--I’m sorry to keep you waiting. --No problem.

(3) 用来表示有能力做某事--Can you play the guitar?--No problem.

7.tell 讲,告诉

(1) tell a story 讲一个故事

(2) tell sb about sth 告诉某人某事Can you tell me something about yourself?

(3)tell sb to do sth 告诉某人做某事My mother tells me to call Jim back.

(4)tell sb not to do sth 告诉某人要做某事The teacher tells us not to eat in class.

作业:

1.熟读本单元单词,抄写单词于作业本中

2.抄写2d对话并翻译

Period 2 (Section A Grammar – Section B 1e)

【教学目标】

一、知识目标:

1. 本节单词: again, dry, cold, hot, warm

2. 重点短语:right now,

3. 重点句型:—How’s the weather in Beijing? / What’s the weather like in Beijing? — It’s sunny

— How’s it going? —Not bad, thanks.

— What is she doing? — She is cooking

二. 能力目标:通过口语与听力训练,强化重点句型的运用

三. 情感目标:培养学生关心朋友的情感

新单词,及口语与听力训练,强化重点句型的运用

【教学过程】

Step 1: Warm-up: Let’s chart.

Step 2: Make a weather report for some big cities in China

Step 3: Review “How’s it going?”And different feelings

Step 4: Finish 3a and practice the conversations with a partner.

Step 5: Finish 3b and make a survey report

Step 6: Finish 1a Match the words with the pictures.

Step 7: Finish 1b Ask and answer questions about the weather in the pictures in 1a

Step 8:Listening

1c Listen and write what Mary and Eric answer to How’s it going?

1d Listen again. Write the answers to What are you doing and How’s the weather.

Step 9: Speaking

1e Role-play a conversation between Mary and Eric.

Talk about the weather you like: I l ike sunny day. I think it is great. Because I like going shopping on sunny days…. Step 10: Exercise

Step 5: While-reading:2c Fill in the chart with information from the postcard in 2b

9. mountain (n) 可数,山,山脉go to the mountains 去爬山in the mountains 在山里

11. 反意疑问句:前肯后否,前否后肯

Your mother goes to work every day, doesn’t she?

The weather isn’t fine, is it?

12.be right for适合…

那件大衣你穿正合适。That coat is just right for you.
