Unit 6 Adventures教学设计Part1 Teaching aims

1. Aim of knowledge: The pupils can master the phrases: get on, get off, put on, put off, go for a side, and new words: cow boy, boots, ground.

2. Aim of ability: The pupils can mime the action story.

3. Cultural sense: The pupils should know how to dress up when they go out for a ride.

Key points and difficult points

1. The pupils can understand the action story and mime.

2. They can speak out the action story and apply the key phrases.

Teaching process

Step 1: Warm up

Say a chant: Sunny day

Review the phrase: put on, put off

Step 2: Presentation

1. Present the new words: boots, cowboy hats. The teacher dresses up as a cowboy hat, say: I’m putting on my cowboy hat, then putting on my boots, I will go for a ride.

2. A short play. 一群学生随老师乘火车到野外郊游,学生一一手搭肩做成小火车,老师叫第一个学生上车: get on,第一个学生叫第二个学生: get on,依次下去,到地点后,写车,老师按照以上方法教授(get off).

3. Practise “get on” “get off”

The teacher stickes the pictures of train, car, plane on the board, and put the arrowhead beside the pictures, ask the pupils to use the phrases to express the pictures.

Eg: Plane get on the plane.

Step 3. Presentation

1. Listen to the action story.

2. Mime it follow the teacher.

3. The teacher says the story one sentence by one sentence, the pupils do the action.

4. Listen to the tape. Do it together.

5. Listen again. Say the action story follow the tape.

6. Listen and fill in the number.

Step 4. Homework

Make sentences using “get on” “get off” “put on” “put off”

课后记

通过本节课教学,学生理解了本单元的一篇故事,并可以用其中的一些短语造句

【教学目标】

(一)知识与技能

能听懂、理解文本内容,并知晓一般过去时和一般现在时的用法。(二)过程与方法

1.以小组合作与情景教学为主,运用游戏帮助学生理解与运用所学知识;

【教学重点】

使学生学会认读,be afraid of,born to,be good at,worry about,be proud of等词组表达方式。

【教学难点】

学生能通过听音获取正确的信息;能掌握be afraid of,born to,be good at,worry about,be proud of等词组表达方式。

根据沙滩游玩和天气的图片,复习上一单元学习的单词。

1. 学生打开课本到第45页,带着问题Who’s the story about?自主阅读两端文本,初步了解大意。老师适时教授born to。

2. 要求学生再次阅读文本完成如下表格,进一步理解故事内容。

7. 老师示范,仿照文本,描述一位小朋友的前后变化,学生根据自己的实际情况进行描述并展示。

教学过程

Step1. Warm up

The teacher can play CD, give the pupils several kinds of sounds and voices , such as thunder, big dogs, horror films…

Then introduce: I’m afraid of…

Using the TPR technique.

Step2. Presentation

1. The teacher gives the pupils another example sentences and introduce: I’m not afraid of…

Eg: I’m not afraid of cold (dark).

2. Talk about your afraid and not afraid in group.

If the pupils c an’t express in English, they can write down to ask for help, or they can pick it up in dictionary by themselves.

3. Ask several groups to give some examples so as to open other’s mind.

4. Open the books, look at the pictures in Part 1, and discuss in groups again.

5. Correct the sentences after all the pupils have had a turn to speak, the teacher just make a record on the board. Then correct them to expand the pupils’ vocabulary. Step 3. Consolidation

The teacher takes out some pictures and gives two kinds of facial expressions: afraid and not afraid. Then ask the pupils to apply the sentence pattern: A. I’m afraid of… B. I’m not afraid of…

The pupils can use following words: cold, big dogs, the dark, English, talking in English, thunder, horror films, listening to English.

重点强调be afraid of 后面加名词.

Step 4. Homework

The teacher asks if they like coming through adventures, such as climbing up the mountain, living in the jungle, bungee, and asks how many adventures do they know, what are they?

1.学生打开课本到第47页,仔细阅读4a题目,弄清题意。

2.播放录音数遍,引导学生完成Sam的诗歌,然后核对答案,并渗透听力技巧

的指导,如学生可先写出答案的序号或连线,然后补全句子等。

3.再次播放录音,学生逐句跟读,老师借助图片引导学生理解But there’s one

thing I’m afraid of:tomato soup for lunch.的含义。

4.学生采用多种形式朗读Sam的诗歌,如全班读、分组读等。

5.老师示范根据4a内容描述自己害怕和不害怕的事物,然后要求学生完成4b

的练习,老师巡视指导。

6.小组活动,学生在组内大声地朗读自己的诗歌,老师选取数名学生展示,并

适时的给予评价。

1.老师引导学生谈论自己害怕和不害怕的事物,复习相关句型。

2.学生打开课本到第47页,仔细观察五副图,在老师的引导下尝试描述图片内

容,老师适时教授地点名称:the sea/ the moon/ the desert/ the mountain/ the jungle。

3.老师提问:Are you afraid of going to the......?引导学生回答并说说自己的理

由。

4.小组活动,学生互相谈论自己害怕和不害怕去的地方并说明理由,老师选取

数名学生展示,并适时的给予指导和评价。

老师让学生看黑板上的板书,与学生一起回顾本课所学的重要单词及句型。

个人教学计划 一、学生基本情况分析: 本学期我教授班级为五年级五班、五年级六班及五年级七班。三个班的学生都已经接触英语两年的时间,学习上有了一定的语言基础,在教学的过程中我注重复习旧知,所以大部分学生的知识储备较多,有利于今后的学习。 五班的学生学习积极性不是很高,纪律意识薄弱,所以在教学中我会设计提高学生积极性的教学活动,学习上严格要求每一位学生。 三班学生学习基础扎实,上课积极认真,学习能力强,所以我会抓住学生的优势,继续强化学生的学习。 四班的学生活泼好动,学习积极性较高,并且作为本班的班主任,学生的学习的时间较多,学习的知识较扎实,所以我会继续利用这个优势,抓好每一位学生的学习。 本学期教材要求学生记忆单词的拼写,这对于学生来说有些难度,是本学期的重点。 对话的学习难度不大,学生可以掌握,句型的灵活运用上需加强。 二、教学措施: 1.词汇教学:注重词汇的呈现方式,在真实交流中教学单词,充分发挥单词卡片的作业。运用字母的发音及字母组合帮助学生进行单词拼写的记忆。 2.对话教学:在听力活动中感知新的语言,在理解语言的基础上学说语言。注重句型在实际生活中的灵活运用。 3. 注重学生知识的检查,加大力度 4. 充分发挥小组长的作用 5. 重视练习的讲解及巩固 6. 加强书写
