I. Analysis

1.定语:修饰名词和代词的成分,如形容词性物主代词,名词,不定式,介词短语等.

2. 定语从句:在复合句中修饰某一名词或代词即用来说明主句中某一名词或代词(有时也可说明整个主句或主句中一部分)而起定语作用的句子叫作定语从句。定语从句的作用和作定语的形容词、介词词组、

分词词组相似,有时可以相互转换。一般紧跟在它所修饰的先行词之后。定语从句分限制性定语从句和非限制性定语从句,前者无逗号,而后者有逗号。

2. 先行词:定语从句所修饰的词叫先行词。

3.关系词:关系代词:who whom that which whose作:主语,宾语,定语,表语。

关系副词: 1.when指时间,在定语从句中作时间状语。

2.where指地点,在定语从句中作地点状语。

3. why指原因,在定语从句中作原因状语。

关系词的一般用法

关系代词的特殊用法

在下列情况下只能用关系代词that引导定语从句:

(1) 先行词被a11,any,only,little,very, much,every, no等修饰时,用that引导定语从句。

4. As/which引导的定语从句

1).the same/as/such/so…as(定语从句): 先行词前有“the same/修饰时,定语从句用“as”引导

★比较:such /so…+名词+as ( 定语从句, as起替代作用,从句结构不完整“象/如…的…”)

such /so…+名词+that (状语从句,从句结构完整“如此…以致于…”)

2).As/which引导非限制性定语从句,指代逗号前后的整个句子,可置于句首、句中或句末。常出现在一些固定表达中。如:as we/all/you know, as is known to all, as we

expected/planned, , as is mentioned/said above, as is reported/said, as is natural, as is often the case.有时可看作插入语。

★as…: 位置灵活,可前可后;且含有“正如/正像…”的含义。which…: 只能放于主句之后;含有“这…,这一点…”的含义

介词+关系代词引导的定语从句

●关系副词在定语从句中所作的成份:关系副词在定语从句中都作状语。when 作时

间状语;where 作地点状语;why 作原因状语。

●关系副词when, where和why也可用“介词+which”来代替,要注意其先行词(名词)与

2021届高中英语新高考语法基础版一轮复习讲义(8) 独立主格知识点整理总结 独立主格结构是高中语法的难点之一,我之前在语法总结篇提到过,今天我就带大家来见识一下它的庐山真面目。 01 独立主格的概念 独立主格,从名称上看,它首先有个主语(所谓主格),其次它与主句的主语相比,是独立的,也即和主句的主语不同。我们来感受一下这个句子: Weather permitting, we will hold the sports meetings. (A) 天气允许的话,我们就会举办运动会。 这个句子是一个条件状语从句,还原成从句形式为: If the weather permits, we will hold the sports meetings. (B)天气允许的话,我们就会举办运动会。 A句中的we a th e r p e rm i t ti n g是一种独立主格结构,B句是它的还原形式。 weather是从句的主语,由于它不是真正意义上的主语,故而叫做逻辑主语。 因为它和主句主语不一样,故而叫独立主格。
