Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is a great honor to stand before you today as a representative of the genius college students in our esteemed institution. The title of a genius college student is not just a label or a recognition of our intellect, but it is a responsibility and a challenge. Today, I want to share with you my thoughts on what it means to be a genius college student, the opportunities it brings, the challenges we face, and the legacy we aim to leave behind.First and foremost, let us define what it means to be a genius. A genius is not merely someone with an exceptional IQ or a prodigious talent. A genius is someone who has the ability to think differently, to question the status quo, and to contribute uniquely to the world. As genius college students, we are the embodiment of this definition, as we have been selected for our intellectual prowess and our potential to make a significant impact. The opportunities that come with being a genius college student are vast and diverse. We have the privilege of attending one of the world's top institutions, surrounded by brilliant minds from various disciplines. This environment fosters creativity, collaboration, and innovation. We have access to state-of-the-art facilities, renowned faculty, and numerous research opportunities. These resources enable us to explore our passions, push the boundaries of knowledge, and contribute to groundbreaking discoveries. One of the greatest opportunities we have as genius college students is the chance to learn from the best. Our professors are leading experts in their fields, and their mentorship can shape our academic and professional journeys. We can engage in thought-provoking discussions, challenge our own beliefs, and develop critical thinking skills thatwill serve us well beyond our college years. This is a unique opportunity that we must seize with both hands. However, with great opportunities come great challenges. The pressure to live up to the title of a genius can be overwhelming. We are constantly expected to excel in our studies, participate in research, andcontribute to the community. The fear of failure can paralyze us, andthe pressure to perform can lead to burnout. It is crucial for us to recognize that being a genius is not about being perfect; it is about being human and embracing our imperfections.Another challenge we face is the stigma associated with being a genius. There is a misconception that geniuses are isolated, cold, and unapproachable. This stereotype can hinder our ability to build meaningful relationships and collaborate with others. It is essentialfor us to break this stereotype and demonstrate that being a genius does not diminish our ability to connect with others on a personal level. As genius college students, we also have a responsibility to use our talents for the greater good. Our intellect and knowledge can be a powerful tool for addressing the world's most pressing issues. Whetherit is climate change, poverty, or inequality, we have the potential to make a significant impact. We must be proactive in seeking out opportunities to apply our skills and expertise to create positive change. In order to leave a lasting legacy, we must focus on the following:1. Embrace our curiosity: The pursuit of knowledge is a lifelong journey. We must continue to ask questions, explore new ideas, and challenge ourselves to grow intellectually.2. Cultivate empathy: A genius without empathy is hollow. We must strive to understand others' perspectives, foster compassion, and work towards building a more inclusive society.3. Collaborate: The power of teamwork cannot be underestimated. We must learn to work effectively with others, leveraging our diverse skills and experiences to achieve common goals.4. Innovate: As geniuses, we have the ability to think outside the box. We must use our creativity to solve problems, create new solutions, and push the boundaries of what is possible.5. Lead by example: We must lead with integrity, demonstrating the qualities of a true genius – not just in our intellect, but in our character and actions. In conclusion, being a genius college student is a remarkable privilege. It is a journey that requires us to embrace our intellectual gifts, overcome challenges, and use our talents to make a positive impact on the world. Let us not forget that the title of a genius is not just a recognition of our abilities, but a call to action. Together, we can create a legacy that will inspire future generations of genius college students and leave an indelible mark on the world.Thank you for your attention, and let us embark on this extraordinary journey together.[Applause]。
大学生英语演讲稿15篇大学生英语演讲稿1Good afternoon!Recently, ther is a heated debate in our society. The college students are the beneficiaries of a rare privilege, who receive exceptional education at extraordinary places. But will we be able to face the challenge and support ourselves against all odds? Will we be able to better the lives of others? Will we be able to accept the responsibility of building the future of our country? The cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the slightest discomfort. But the cynics are wrong. The college students I see are eagerly learning about how to live independently. We help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money. The cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. But again, the cynics are wrong. We care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth. Last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer. As college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. We all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country. Ibelieve in all my fellow classmates. Though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish. I believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities. We are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place. I believe in our future.大学生英语演讲稿2亲爱的老师和同学们:下午好,我很高兴在这里发表演讲!这次,我我想谈谈英语。

We have been exposed to a vast array of knowledge, ideas, and perspectives that have broadened our horizons and shaped our understanding of the world. From rigorous academic pursuits to diverse social activities, college has been a melting pot where we have grown both intellectually and personally. One of the most significant lessons that college has taught us is the importance of adaptability. As students, we have had to navigate through a multitude of changes, be it the transition from high school touniversity, the diverse cultural backgrounds of our classmates, or the ever-evolving academic landscape. These experiences have equipped us with the ability to adapt to new situations, to think critically, and to problem-solve effectively. In the world outside of college, change will continue to be a constant, and our ability to adapt will be the key to our success. As we look towards the future, it is crucial to recognize the importance of lifelong learning. College has been a foundation upon which we can build our knowledge and skills, but the journey does not end here. The world is constantly evolving, and new technologies, methodologies, and ideas are emerging every day. We must remain curious and open-minded, always seeking to learn and grow. Whether it be through further education, self-study, or professional development, lifelong learning will enable us to stay relevant and competitive in the ever-changing job market. In addition to adaptability and lifelong learning, another essential quality that we have acquired during our time in college is resilience. As we leave the familiar surroundings of college, we are stepping into a world filled with opportunities and uncertainties. The future is a blank canvas, and it is up to us to paint it with our own colors. Here are a few thoughts on how we can embrace this journey:1. Set clear goals: The future can be daunting, but having a clearvision of what we want to achieve will help us stay focused and motivated. Whether it is a career, personal growth, or a combination of both, setting specific goals will guide us towards our desired outcomes.2. Network and build relationships: The connections we make during college and beyond will be invaluable in our future endeavors. Buildinga strong network of friends, colleagues, and mentors will open doors and provide support when we need it most.3. Embrace change: Change is the only constant in life. By embracing change and being open to new experiences, we can navigate the future with confidence and adaptability.4. Take risks: Success often comes from taking calculated risks. We must be willing to step out of our comfort zones, to try new things, and to learn from our mistakes.5. Maintain a balance: As we pursue our goals, it is essential to maintain a healthy balance between work, personal life, and well-being.A balanced life will enable us to be more productive and fulfilled. In conclusion, as we embark on the journey of the future, let us carry with us the lessons we have learned during our time in college. By fostering dialogue, promoting empathy, and working towards common goals, we can contribute to a more stable and peaceful world. The Role of Universities in Preparing Us for the FutureUniversities play a vital role in preparing us for the future byoffering a comprehensive education that encompasses intellectual, social, and personal development. Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is my great honor to stand before you today and share my thoughts on a topic that is both vital and pressing: the role of young generations in shaping a sustainable world. As college students, we are the architects of tomorrow, and it is ourresponsibility to not only envision a better future but also to actively work towards achieving it.Firstly, let us acknowledge the gravity of the challenges we face. The world today is at a critical juncture. Climate change, environmental degradation, social inequality, and economic disparities are some of the most pressing issues that require immediate attention. These challenges are interconnected, and addressing them requires a holistic approach. As young people, we have the unique opportunity to bridge the gap between the present and the future, and to drive positive change.1. Education and AwarenessThe foundation of any sustainable future lies in education and awareness. We, as college students, are the beneficiaries of a world-classeducation system that equips us with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle complex problems. However, knowledge alone is not enough. We must also foster a sense of responsibility and urgency among our peers and younger generations. We can start by promoting sustainable practices within our academic institutions. This could involve integrating sustainability into the curriculum, organizing workshops, and encouraging research on environmental and social issues. Moreover, we can leverage our social media platforms to spread awareness about the importance of sustainability, using storytelling to make complex issues relatable and engaging.2. Innovation and TechnologyTechnology has been a driving force behind many of the advancements we have seen in the last century. In the context of sustainability, innovation and technology can be our most powerful allies. As youngentrepreneurs and innovators, we have the potential to develop solutions that can revolutionize the way we live and work.Consider renewable energy, clean technology, and sustainable agriculture. These fields offer immense opportunities for innovation, and youngpeople are at the forefront of these advancements. By investing in research and development, we can create technologies that are not only sustainable but also economically viable.3. Advocacy and Policy ChangeAdvocacy is another crucial aspect of shaping a sustainable world. We must not only raise awareness but also push for policy changes that promote sustainability. This can be achieved through various means, such as participating in protests, writing to our representatives, and engaging in community initiatives. As college students, we have the advantage of being connected to a diverse network of like-minded individuals. By collaborating withstudent organizations, NGOs, and other stakeholders, we can amplify our voices and create a ripple effect that can lead to significant policy changes.4. Sustainable Lifestyle ChoicesLastly, we must lead by example. As young people, our lifestyle choices have a direct impact on the environment and society. By adopting sustainable practices in our daily lives, we can inspire others to dothe same. This could include reducing our carbon footprint, consuming less, recycling, and supporting local businesses.Furthermore, we can promote sustainable living within our communities by organizing events and campaigns that encourage others to make environmentally friendly choices. For instance, we can organize beach clean-ups, plant trees, or promote the use of public transportation. In conclusion, the future of our planet lies in the hands of the young generation. We have the knowledge, the passion, and the creativity to address the challenges we face. By embracing the following roles:1. Educators and Awareness Creators2. Innovators and Technologists3. 大学生英语三分钟演讲稿1Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen!I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! To begin with ,I want to ask a question .Does everybody dream a good dream last night? Actually ,today I want to talk about dream with you. Of course, What I want to talk is not a dream you have last night, but a dream—— about life.Everyone has dreams about life, different dreams at different life stage, and we need dreams to support us. Dreams are like the stars we never reach in the sky,but like most mariners,we can chart our course by them. With the dream,we have a direction, with a direction, we were no longer confused. With the dream, there is hope,With hope, we have the strength to fight.I have a dream: To be a doctor.,because doctor may relieve the pain of patients. May let the human change the health. At the same time, I believed that, those who help others may be able to obtain joyfully. Therefore, I hoped in the near future ,I might be a doctor. But I know, life is tough, and there are always ups and downs, maybe we fail in the way to our aims, and we may feel depressed ,whenever at this time, the dream in our heart can always comfort us, encourage us ,and support us to move ahead .Young!Fortunately, I am young now. Just due to it, I know that nothing is impossible.I firmly believe that nothing can standin my way. If I can't realize my dream,it result from that I haven't work harder enough and I won't find other excuses. If no people believe you, you can make it to prove that you are right. If you think the god haven't blessed you and there is no truth here, you can become the god and create the truth."My breath swallows the sky and make the yellow river overflow, my sword is famous in Kyushu and it can collapse the five sacred mountains." At some time in the past I also had am bitious words and I had some achievements. Each achievement results from my hard work. I always believe that "If you want to have more achievements than others, you must work harder." In some extent, the dream is the hope. If you can insist on doing something, the victory will come.Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today. Let's--- move ----out!Thank you for your listening!大学生英语三分钟演讲稿2good morning, dear teacher and my friends.it’s a very intresting topic today.i think my dad was a hero for me when i was a young child. we'd go fishing, walks, and other fun things for a kid.every child has a good and great father, and so do i. my dad played a very important role in my daily life`````exactly speaking, in my past 16 years.my father always stands in the center of my life, from past till now and possibly in the future.my family was rather poor when i was in my childhood. wedidn't have our own house and had to live in a shabby, small room rented from my father's factory. the room was so small that there was little space for people to walk. i didn't have my own bed and had to sleep with my parents. this is terrible both for my parents and me.but father made this all different!he works very hard on his own business, now we have our own 2 housese, surly,i have my own room.and he take our family so much happiness, richer and richer.when i was little, i did everything with my dad. you could always find me sitting on his knee or walking and doing everything with him. every night he would read me a bed time story and make the voices of each character.i learnt a lot from my daddy. i learnt to never take things to seriously and to always smile.like many other fathers, my dad and i also has generation gap. he is not good at or even can’t work the computer. so when i sitting at the c omputer desk,he will say something like ‘you should pay more attention to your study’, ‘don’t waste time on the computer games’ , ‘it will be bad for your eyes’ and so on. how can i- a computer fan – reduce time on computer? so i continue studying and playing on ityears pasted, my father is over 45 now. it is time for me to look after him and i am sure i will do and we will live an even better life. and i will say,i really love you dad, cause you are the hero in my mind.thank you so much!大学生英语三分钟演讲稿3Let me begin my speech with a replay of scenes familiar to most, if not all, of those present here today."Mum, I'm sorry, but I need 3,000 yuan for my tuition this year.""Mum, it is my friend's birthday tomorrow, I must buy her a present.""Mum, this jacket was out of fashion long ago, would you do me a favor? "Take. Take. Take. The relationship between a mother and a child always seems to follow such a pattern. I know my mother is always there for me, providing me with everything I need; from food to clothing, from tuition to pocket money. I never thought twice about all she did until one day she said, "Will there be a time that you'll say you have taken enough from me? "Like a child endlessly asking,we humans, throughout history, have been continually demanding what we desire from nature. We enjoy the comfort and beauty of our furniture, yet we never bother to think about the serious soil erosion caused by deforestation. We take it for granted that we must warm ourselves in winter times, yet we seldom realize the burning away of precious natural resources. We appreciate all the prosperity from the development of modern industry, yet few would give the slightest consideration to the global air and water pollution caused by industrial wastes. Our ruthless exploitation has permanently impaired our mother earth. As we tragically learned from last summer's floods. we cannot continue our carelessness. Finally, standing here at the threshold of the 21st century,we cannot help thinking of our posterity. Nature is not only the mother of the present generation, but also the mother of the generations to come. How severely our descendents will criticize us if we leavethem a barren and lifeless mother? How much more they will appreciate us if we give them a world of harmony to inherit? Let us start respecting and caring for nature from now on. Let us start the campaign of creating a mutually beneficial relationship between people and nature right from this moment. With this new start,I firmly believe, that our children, and our children's children will live in a brand new age of green trees, clean air, crystal water, blue sky and an even more promising world!大学生英语三分钟演讲稿4Dear teachers, dear students:hello everyone! The topic of my speech is "the hardness of life"The vast desert, a tree stand, the show is a monument to the image.Towering mountains, thousands of tree stand up, as is a magnificent the Great Wall. The long river, all the trees stood up into a dragon of glory. We are a symbol of too much, and too much. But I believe that my image is not "the gentlest hands, skin, such as Diorskin" Lin Daiyu, nor is the modern "unkempt and shabby","Su Qier". We are a symbol of hope and vitality. So we show in front of others should be inserted without pleats, face without scale, modest and polite gestures exudes a stream of heroic spirit, the image of the vigor and vitality of the modern new youth, a into the embodiment of the spirit of nature.Someone once said, life is a kind of hardness, integrity and dignity of life is propped up the hardness of bone. "Better life" and "the Kui back in the day,and not ashamed on the ground", which is always the traditional virtue of the China. LiBai's "the eyebrow nengcui Zheyaoshan powerful thing, so that I may not be happy Yan" this awe inspiring atmosphere of the verse and whether it will make those no self-esteem people to shame? Loss of self-esteem is a worthless person, and we as the vanguard of the times, if drown in the darkness forever, or to do a dauntless hero, a flower in the wind and rain sonorous rose. The answer is self-evident. Desert desolate also has the monument stands, Castle Peak again proud, but also have the great wall around, the river again quiet, also there is a dragon in the recumbent. But the time can be changed, our image, our glory remains the same. Because we pride, because we are confident, because we have a fresh life. And because of this,it is a vast desert riparian long, Qingshan was evergreen, the hardness of life is forever.大学生英语三分钟演讲稿5change the world? change ourselvesgood evening, honorable judges, ladies and gentlemen.it’s my great pleasure to stand here to present my speech—change the world, change ourselves.it’s noticable that western holidays are becoming increasingly popular day by day, while chinese traditional festivals are being somewhat neglected. not long before about 10 doctors in beijing university and qinghua unversity announced that we should reject the invasion of western holidays ,because they regard western holidays as an challenge against our traditional festivals and culture.frankly speaking, i don’t quite agree with them.indeed, we should never neglect or even discard our traditonal festivals as china boasts a brilliant history and splendid traditions. (examples).but why can’t we absorb the meaningful westernholidays and culture.there are obvious reasons why some western holidays are so popular in china. on the one hand, some of the western holidays which we chinese don’t have are reasonable and meaningful, such as father’s day and april fool’s day etc. on the other hand, the prevalence of globalization enables western culture to prevail in china. overwhelmed by such a trend, chinese unconsiciously get involved in western holidays and culture.with the further development of the whole world, the cultural communication between different countries and nations becomes faster and more and more important. we are indeed from different nations, but we are the citizens of the same world, so the outstanding culture of different nations is the commom wealth of everyone on the earth.the only way for us to protect our traditional culture is to reject the foreign culture? the answer is definitely no. what we ought to do is to spare no effort to educate chinese to get to know and treasure our splendid traditions instead of rejecting foreign culture. only by educating can we set our confidence and belief towards our culture. only by educating can we preserve and promote the wealth that our ancesters left for us.at last i’d like to share a famo use saying of gandhi with all of you ,that is:if you want to change the world, then you must change yourself first.”。

大学生英语口语演讲稿1law opened the bottom drawer of my sisters bureau and lifted out a tissue-wrapped package. this, he said, is not a slip. this is lingerie. he discarded the tissue and handed me the slip.it was exquisite, silk, handmade and trimmed with a cobweb of lace. the price tag with an astronomical figure on it was still attached.jan bought this the first time we went to new york, at least 8 or 9 years ago. she never wore it. she was saving it for a special occasion.well, i guethis is the occasion.he took the slip from me and put it on the bed, with the other clothes we were taking to the mortician. his hands lingered on the soft material for a moment, then he slammed the drawer shut and turned to me, dont ever save anything for a special occasion. every day you re alive is a special occasion.i remembered those words through the funeral and the days that followed when i helped him and my niece attend to all the sad chores that follow an unexpected death. i thought about them on the plane returning to california from the midwestern town where my sisters family lives. i thought about all the things that she hadnt seen or heard or done. i thought about the things that she had done without realizing that they were special.im still thinking about his words, and theyve changed the weeds in the garden. im spending more time with my family and friends and letime in committee meetings. whenever possible, life should be a pattern of experience to savour, not endure. im trying to recognize these moment now and cherish them.im not saving anything; we use our good china and crystal for every special. event such as losing a pound, getting the sink unstopped, the first camellia blossom… i wear my good blazer to the market if i feel like it. my theory is if i look prosperous, i can shell out $28. 49 for one small bag of groceries without wincing. im not saving my good perfume for special parties; clerks in hardware stores and tellers in banks have noses that function as well as my party going friends.someday and one of these days are losing their grip on my vocabulary. if its worth seeing or hearing or doing, i want to see and hear and do it now. im not sure what my sister wouldve done had she know that she wouldnt be here for the tomorrow we all take for granted.i think she would have called family members and a few close friends. she might have called a few former friends to apologize, and mend fences for past squabbles. i like to think she would have gone out for a chinese dinner, her favorite food. im guessing. ill never know.its those little things left undone that would make me angry if i knew that my hours were limited. angry because i put off seeing good friends whom i was going to get in touch with someday. angry because i hadnt written certain letters that i intended to write one of these days. angry and sorry that i didnt tell my husband and daughter often enough how much i truly love them.im trying very hard not to put off, hold back, or save anything that would add laughter and luster to our lives. and every morning when i open my eyes, i tell myself that every day, every minute, every breath truly, is... a gift from god.thank you for giving me this opportunity to improve my oral english. thank you大学生英语口语演讲稿2Students, guests , teachers and Honorable JudgesGood morning !my great pleasure to share my dream with you today. my dream is to become ateacher....As the whole world has its boundaries, limits and freedom coexist in ourlife. Its my great honor to stand here. As you know, there is a kind of beauty, it can make the person surprise, it make the person enjoy in retrospect. It is gorgeous and spectacular. There is a kind of beauty, it brings the intense emotion to life. It brings the sweetto life. This kind of beauty is the beauty of harmonious. Well, this is my todays topic:A harmonious campus.Harmonious, is one of the most popular words in the society at the present time. Now our governments are advocating building harmonious society. But what is harmonious? I looked it up in the dictionary. It says “in agreement, free from ill feeling.”In some schools, there are a lot of problems. For instance, teachers do not have patience with students, some ever shout at them. Students fall in sleep during the class. Play truant is widespread. Cutter languages are often heard.Campus, which is of course one part of the project, plays an essential role in the society. If we want to build a harmonious society, first we should build a harmonious campus, and get rid of those problems. To a harmonious school, the surrounding is very important. On our campus, coconut trees growed line on the road. The green grass is the always fine spring day. The various flowers and trees are the beautiful scenery, the green outside the classroom show its grave to the students. When the students are walking around the campus, their bodies and minds are pleasant. If we think of the harmonious campus as a tree, then the harmonious environment is the leaves of the tree. The good human relation of campus is the root.Only the campus with good human relationships can be called a harmonious campus.A harmonious campus has a harmonious relationship between teachers and students. Teacher, which is the person who teaches you knowledge, should be respect by us. We should cherish teachers pays, respect their works. Thus we can create a harmonious study atmosphere.A harmonious campus also needs a good relationship among students. We should help those who have problems, and get along with them. Thus to create a harmonious social relationship.Bring hope to the helplessness, bring power to the young, bring light to the blind, and bring confidence to the weak. Our campus is a harmonious campus: it is a family of us all.大学生英语口语演讲稿4Ladies and Gentlemen, Good morning! The little girl was interested in playing the swing but didn’t dare to try. The mother encouraged her by saying, “Come on, baby! I believe you can do it! Believe in yourself!” With her mother’s encouragement, the girl finally climbed onto the swing. “Yeah! I can do it! Mum, he lp me fly higher!” she cried happily, and her laughter filled the air. I see that self-confidence is a key factor in problem-solving. With self-confidence, I can overcome difficulties. With self-confidence, I can surpass limits. With self-confidence, I can go beyond myself. Here, ladies and gentle, allow me to share with you my experience. I love English and now, I can stand on this stage to express my ideas in English. But when I first entered into the college, I was such a shy boy that I couldn’t speak Ch inese fluently in the crowd, let alone show my English in public. In the second school year, I was assigned to be one of the hosts at an English Competition. I had no experience in hosting at that time so it was really a challenge to me. I didn’t know what to say, and even how to step on the stage? However, I decided to take the assignment since after 2-year of English study, I became more confident in myself. Also, teachers’ remarks encouraged me, “If you are not self-confident, it is impossible to make others believe in you. If you cannot go beyond your limits, it is impossible to make any improvement.” I accomplished the task at last, and the success confirms to myself that I can go beyond my limits. I can surpass myself. Yes, I can. With self-confidence, one is not sure to win, but without self-confidence, one will lose for sure. Today, Standing here, participating in this competition, for me it is also a challenge. AmI sure to win the first prize? To tell the truth, not really. Then, am I confident to compete with the other participants? Absolutely. I believe in myself. I believe I will try my best to overcome all difficulties. I am well-ready to face the challenge. I am quite self-confident that I can again go beyond myself.大学生英语口语演讲稿6Good afternoon ,Ladies and is Sunny Wang ,one from class one, grade three, major in tour guiding friends always said ,I look like they like to call me Sunny in its a big today is “never give up” “Its long long journey, till I know where I supposed to be”,life is just like journey ,you never know what will happen,Luckly ,I am a tour guide on my own way to journey ,tour guide take me out of cross way .i like to be tour guide and I want to be ing our life travelling ,we may come across lots of pleasant or unpleasant things ,but we must go on ,yes?Going on to find the way to make our beautiful dream true ver they can be changed into experience in our life ,so let it be ,and never give up .Several days ago ,President encouraged to improve our passionate refered to the story about Deng yaping well known to us ,Deng yapping ,who is known to the world at the end of last century e in fact ,the height of her actually less than 150cm was she who got the world chompin ships 14 times and continues rank No.1of the women table tennise at 8 times .Whats more ,she was presented the globe medal by him in person at Olympic games was reputed the “table tennis queen”and “short giantes” As a matter of fact ,originally, according to the table tenise professors ,Deng yaping was a miracle because she is too short to play table tenise ,as a result ,she made it repoter once asked she “whats make youwin ?”she replyed with light smile ,”I could always find the teason that I can and never give up for my dreams .” Yes ,the spirit of “ never give up” achieve ment herself for us,do we try our best to make our dream ture ,can we always find a reason that we can do when we come across troubles ?I cant help recalling my life ,two years ago ,when I first came into the colleage ,naturely shy ,ordinary looking and average scoers in my study .i just like a ugly duckling and have little confidence should I do ,I asked myself ,am I take back seat to others .i want to fly and proud tell the world ,I am coming .i remind of Deng yapping ,she can overcome the problem of her height ,so can I tly ,I pay more efforts on my study and take part in competions course I did and I gained lots of experience ,furthermore ,I gained courage and coffidence to face any troubles in my life ,thanks to competitions! University days are the best part of them. I can never forget the days when I stepped into my university. I was impressed by its garden-like campus, its enthusiastic students and especially its learning atmosphere. I at once fell in love with it.After the arduous military training, I get absolutely absorbed in my studies. The classes given by the teachers are excellent. They provide us with information not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as well. They easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as I can.Frankly speaking, at first I had some difficulty following the teachers. However, through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers guidance, I made remarkable progress. Now Ive benefited a lot from lectures and many other academic reports.Learning is a long process; Ill keep exploring in the treasure house of knowledge to enrich myself. This summer I got out of the ivory tower and entered the real world. A publishing house offered me a part-time job in compilation and revision. At the beginning I was belittled by my colleagues. But they were really surprised when I translated seven English articles over 5,000 words on only one day. Gradually, they began to look at me with respectful eyes. In their opinion I turned out to be a useful and trustworthy colleague.I also realize that only those who bring happiness for others can be truly happy. So I often take part in activities concerning public welfare. I once went to a barren mountain village with my classmates. We taught the kids there who could not afford school. While showing them how broad and how civilized the outer world is, I was deeply touched by their eagerness to learn, their honesty and their purity. I couldnt control my tears on the day when we left. The precious experience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility on the shoulders of us, future teachers.Besides study and social practice, there are entertainments as well. I do body building every day, hoping to keep healthy and energetic. We also write a play and put it on in our spare time.Campus life is the most splendid time. But different people have different choices. The majority of students cherish their beautiful season and cherish the hope that one day theyll become outstanding. But there are indeed some students still under ignorance. They gather together for eating, drinking or playing cards. Theyre busy in searching for a girlfriend or a boyfriend. They forget completely about their mission as college students and the hope of their motherland. Finally, I do hope everybody can try their best to become a worthy citizen of the country. I do hope everybody can become the backbone of our nation and make great contributions to society!。
Today, I stand before you as a proud representative of the outstanding students of our university. It is indeed an honor to have the opportunity to share my thoughts and experiences with all of you. As we gather here today, I want to talk about the qualities that make a great university student and how we, as individuals, can strive to embody these qualities.First and foremost, an excellent university student possesses a strong sense of determination and perseverance. The journey of higher education is not an easy one; it requires immense dedication and commitment. Weall face challenges and setbacks along the way, but it is our resilience and unwavering determination that will ultimately lead us to success. As we pursue our academic goals, let us never lose sight of our dreams and aspirations, and let us never give up in the face of adversity.Secondly, an excellent university student is a lifelong learner. In today's rapidly changing world, knowledge is power, and the pursuit of knowledge should never cease. We should embrace the spirit of curiosity and constantly seek to expand our horizons. Whether it be through attending lectures, engaging in research, or participating in extracurricular activities, we should always be eager to learn and grow. Remember, the more we learn, the more we contribute to the betterment of society.Furthermore, an excellent university student is a responsible andethical individual. As future leaders and professionals, we have a moral obligation to make a positive impact on the world. This means we must uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct. We should treat others with respect, honesty, and compassion, and we should always strive to do what is right, even when it is difficult. Let us be role models for others, and let us lead by example. An excellent university student also possesses strong interpersonal skills. The ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with others is crucial in today's interconnected world. We should be open to different perspectives, embrace diversity, and build meaningful relationships with our peers and mentors. By fostering a culture ofinclusivity and teamwork, we can create a more vibrant and supportive academic community. In addition, an excellent university student is adaptable and flexible. Change is inevitable, and we must be prepared to navigate through it. As we face new challenges and opportunities, let us be adaptable and open to learning from our experiences. We should embrace innovation and be willing to take risks, as it is through these risks that we can achieve great things.Furthermore, an excellent university student is passionate about their chosen field of study. Passion is the driving force that propels us forward and keeps us motivated. When we are passionate about what we do, we are more likely to excel and make a significant impact. Let us pursue our dreams with enthusiasm and dedication, and let us never settle for mediocrity.Lastly, an excellent university student is a well-rounded individual. Success is not solely measured by academic achievements; it is also about personal growth and development. We should strive to balance our academic pursuits with extracurricular activities, hobbies, and social interactions. By doing so, we can cultivate a well-rounded character and become more holistic individuals. In conclusion, being an excellent university student requires a combination of determination, perseverance, curiosity, responsibility, interpersonal skills, adaptability, passion, and well-roundedness. As we navigate through our academic journey, let us remember these qualities and strive to embody them in our daily lives.Ladies and gentlemen, we are the future leaders of our nation and the world. It is our responsibility to make the most of our time in university and prepare ourselves for the challenges that lie ahead. Let us not only excel in our studies but also contribute to the betterment of society. By doing so, we can leave a lasting legacy and make a positive impact on the world.Thank you for your attention, and may we all strive to be the best versions of ourselves.God bless our university and its students.。

Today my topic is “youth”. I hope you will like it, and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.First I want to ask you some questions:1、Do you know what is youth?2、How do you master your youth?YouthYouth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite, for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.Years wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear, self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.Whether 60 of 16, there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station: so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grownold ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.Thank you!大学生英语演讲稿3亲爱的老师和同学们:下午好,我很高兴在这里发表演讲!这次,我我想谈谈英语。
Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone. It is my great honor to stand before you today and share with you some thoughts on the incredible journey that lies ahead in college. As we embark on this new chapter in our lives, I want to encourage you to embrace the adventure that awaits us, to seek knowledge, to grow, and to make memories that will last a lifetime.Firstly, let us remember that college is a unique time in our lives. It is a period where we transition from the structured environment of high school to the vast, open landscape of higher education. This transition can be daunting, but it is also an exciting opportunity to explore our interests, discover our passions, and shape our future. One of the most remarkable aspects of college is the diversity of experiences it offers. We will have the chance to meet people from all walks of life, with different backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives. This diversity is not just a part of the college experience; it is what makes it so rich and rewarding. By engaging with others, we can broaden our horizons, challenge our preconceptions, and develop empathy and understanding. As we navigate through the academic rigor of college, let us not forget that learning extends beyond the classroom walls. The most profound lessons often come from our interactions with peers, professors, and even ourselves. Embrace the challenge of new subjects, and do not be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Each course, each assignment, and each project is a stepping stone towards becoming the knowledgeable, well-rounded individual you aspire to be.Now, let us talk about the friendships that we will forge during these years. College is a time when we create bonds that can last a lifetime. Your classmates will become your study partners, your confidants, and sometimes even your best friends. Remember that these relationships are built on mutual respect, trust, and support. Invest in them, and they will undoubtedly enrich your college experience. In addition to our academic and social lives, college is a time for personal growth. It is a time to discover who we are and what we stand for. This self-discovery may come in the form of new hobbies, extracurricular activities, or even the decision to change our career paths. Be open to new experiences, and do not be afraid to experiment. You may find that you have talents and passions you never knew existed. One of the most crucial aspects of college life is time management. With so many responsibilities, from classes to part-time jobs, from social events to personal projects, it is easy to become overwhelmed. Learn to prioritize, set goals, and allocate your time effectively. Remember that balance is key. Make time for yourself, for relaxation, and for the things that bring you joy.As you immerse yourself in the academic and social aspects of college, do not forget the importance of mental and physical well-being. Take care of your body through regular exercise, a balanced diet, and adequate sleep. Cultivate your mental health by seeking support when needed, whether it is from friends, family, or professionals. College can be stressful, but it is also a time to learn resilience and to develop coping strategies that will serve you well throughout your life.Lastly, let us talk about the legacy we will leave behind. College is not just about what we gain, but also about what we contribute. As you engage in discussions, participate in community service, and lead initiatives, remember that you have the power to make a difference. Be an advocate for change, a mentor to others, and a role model for future generations. In conclusion, college is a transformative journey that will challenge us, inspire us, and shape us into the individuals we are meant to be. As we embrace the adventure that lies ahead, let us do so with enthusiasm, curiosity, and determination. Remember that every moment is an opportunity to learn, to grow, and to become the best version of ourselves.Thank you for listening, and here's to the incredible adventure that awaits us all in college![Applause]。

大学生的英语演讲三分钟范文(精选5篇)大学生的英语演讲三分钟范文篇1now of course, this does not mean that we should all stop collaborating -- and case in point, is steve wozniak famously coming together with steve jobs to start apple computer -- but it does mean that solitude matters and that for some people it is the air that they breathe. and in fact, we have known for centuries about the transcendent power of solitude. it's only recently that we've strangely begun to forget it. if you look at most of the world's major religions, you will find seekers -- moses, jesus, buddha, muhammad -- seekers who are going off by themselves alone to the wilderness where they then have profound epiphanies and revelations that they then bring back to the rest of the community. so no wilderness, no revelations.this is no surprise though if you look at the insights of contemporary psychology. it turns out that we can't even be in a group of people without instinctively mirroring, mimicking their opinions. even about seemingly personal and visceral things like who you're attracted to, you will start aping the beliefs of the people around you without even realizing that that's what you're doing.and groups famously follow the opinions of the most dominant or charismatic person in the room, even though there's zero correlation between being the best talker and having the best ideas -- i mean zero. so ... (laughter) you might be following the person with the best ideas, but you might not. and do you really want to leave it up to chance? much better for everybody to go off by themselves, generate their own ideas freed from the distortions of group dynamics, and then come together as a teamto talk them through in a well-managed environment and take it from there.大学生的英语演讲三分钟范文篇2If There Were No After Lifewhether there's afterlife, the answer has never been the same. the atheists deny after life, believing that our life is no more than from the cradle to the grave. they may care about their illustrious names after death; they may feel attached to the affection of their offspring, but they never lay their hopes on their afterlife. they may also say that good will be rewarded with good, and evil with evil, but they don't really believe any retribution in their after life.however, in the religious world or among the superstitious people, the belief in afterlife is very popular. they do not only believe in afterlife, but thousands of reincarnations as well. in the mysterious world, there are the paradise and the hell, the celestial beings and the gods, the buddha and the bodhisattvas.maybe they really believed it, or maybe they just wanted to make use of people's veneration, the ancient emperors always declared that they were the real dragons, the sons of god, while the royal ministers claimed to be the reincarnations of various constellations. but can the stars reincarnate?many people burn incense and kowtow, do good deeds and strive for virtues, not just for the present, but mainly to let god see their sincerity so as to be reborn into a better afterlife, or to achieve the highest enlightenment after several lives of practice. they do believe in afterlife. but i can't help asking: suppose there were no afterlife, would you still do good deeds and strive for virtues? and if god does not see what you are doing, would you still be so upright and selfless? if you work, not for serving the public and liberating the others, but just for a better afterlife ofyour own, isn't it a little too selfish? comparing with this kind of believers, those who don't believe in afterlife, but still keep doing good deeds, are the most sincere and honest philanthropists, because they do them not for themselves but for other.you may wonder if i believe in afterlife. my answer is: i know nothing about my previous life, so i dare not make improper comments on afterlife. but i do hope there's afterlife! because our present life is so short that so many things slip away before our proper understanding. i have so many dreams, so many wishes, so many ambitions, as well as so many regrets and concerns. if there were no afterlife, all of them will remain unrealized!i'm not contented with the present commonplace life, i'm very much attached to the affections that should have been mine but have been washed away by the hurrying time, and i yearn for the perfection and maturity if i could start all over again. so believe it or not, i'd rather there were afterlife.大学生的英语演讲三分钟范文篇3so if you picture the typical classroom nowadays: when i was going to school, we sat in rows. we sat in rows of desks like this, and we did most of our work pretty autonomously. but nowadays, your typical classroom has pods of desks -- four or five or six or seven kids all facing each other. and kids are working in countless group assignments. even in subjects like math and creative writing, which you think would depend on solo flights of thought, kids are now expected to act as committee members. and for the kids who prefer to go off by themselves or just to work alone, those kids are seen as outliers often or, worse, as problem cases. and the vast majority of teachers reports believing that the ideal student is an extrovert as opposed to an introvert, even though introverts actually get better grades and are moreknowledgeable, according to research. (laughter)okay, same thing is true in our workplaces. now, most of us work in open plan offices, without walls, where we are subject to the constant noise and gaze of our coworkers. and when it comes to leadership, introverts are routinely passed over for leadership positions, even though introverts tend to be very careful, much less likely to take outsize risks -- which is something we might all favor nowadays. and interesting research by adam grant at the wharton school has found that introverted leaders often deliver better outcomes than extroverts do, because when they are managing proactive employees, they're much more likely to let those employees run with their ideas, whereas an extrovert can, quite unwittingly, get so excited about things that they're putting their own stamp on things, and other people's ideas might not as easily then bubble up to the surface.now in fact, some of our transformative leaders in history have been introverts. i'll give you some examples. eleanor roosevelt, rosa parks, gandhi -- all these peopled described themselves as quiet and soft-spoken and even shy. and they all took the spotlight, even though every bone in their bodies was telling them not to. and this turns out to have a special power all its own, because people could feel that these leaders were at the helm, not because they enjoyed directing others and not out of the pleasure of being looked at; they were there because they had no choice, because they were driven to do what they thought was right.大学生的英语演讲三分钟范文篇4My topic is HonestyAs a correspondent of the Qingdao Morning News, I visited Dr. James Gilman, the President of the International Committeefor Marco Polo Studies in England. In this picture, this is James, and this is me and we are looking at a dragon's tooth. This is a true story.65 years ago, James lived in Qingdao. Then he was only 5 years old. He often visited the Aquarium and was fascinated by a creature on display there, which he thought was a dragon. He was afraid of its sharp teeth and wanted one to keep as a treasure. In the late 1930s, when the Japanese occupied Qingdao, his family had to leave. On his last day in Qingdao, he ran to the Aquarium and pulled out one of the teeth from the dragon's mouth. He kept the tooth for the next 65 years, but the feeling of guilt at having stolen it was there in the background all through his life. It was always on his conscience, and the feeling intensified as he became older. Finally he decided to put right his childish error. In 20xx, he visited Qingdao and returned it to the Aquarium with his sincere apologies. He received a warm welcome. When James visited Qingdao, I accompanied him all the time and reported on his visit. I was deeply touched by his honesty. It has taught me a lot. I think to err is human. The important thing is to have the courage to admit and correct one's error.Honesty is a vital quality of human behaviour. So we should try to keep an honest mind in everything we say and do. I would like to say to all of my friends: Let's be honest people of good moral character.Thank you.大学生的英语演讲三分钟范文篇5now if all this is true, then why are we getting it so wrong? why are we setting up our schools this way and our workplaces?and why are we making these introverts feel so guilty about wanting to just go off by themselves some of the time? one answer lies deep in our cultural history. western societies, and in particular the u.s., have always favored the man of action over the man of contemplation and “man“ of contemplation. but in america's early days, we lived in what historians call a culture of character, where we still, at that point, valued people for their inner selves and their moral rectitude. and if you look at the self-help books from this era, they all had titles with things like “character, the grandest thing in the world.“ and they featured role models like abraham lincoln who was praised for being modest and unassuming. ralph waldo emerson called him “a man who does not offend by superiority.“but then we hit the 20th century and we entered a new culture that historians call the culture of personality. what happened is we had evolved an agricultural economy to a world of big business. and so suddenly people are moving from small towns to the cities. and instead of working alongside people they've known all their lives, now they are having to prove themselves in a crowd of strangers. so, quite understandably, qualities like magnetism and charisma suddenly come to seem really important. and sure enough, the self-help books change to meet these new needs and they start to have names like “how to win friends and influence people.“ and they feature as thei r role models really great salesmen. so that's the world we're living in today. that's our cultural inheritance.now none of this is to say that social skills are unimportant, and i'm also not calling for the abolishing of teamwork at all. the same religions who send their sages off to lonely mountain tops also teach us love and trust. and the problems that we are facingtoday in fields like science and in economics are so vast and so complex that we are going to need armies of people coming together to solve them working together. but i am saying that the more freedom that we give introverts to be themselves, the more likely that they are to come up with their own unique solutions to these problems.so now i'd like to share with you what's in my suitcase today. guess what? books. i have a suitcase full of books. here's margaret atwood, “cat's eye.“ here's a novel by milan kundera. and here's “the guide for the perplexed“ by maimonides. but these are not exactly my books. i brought these books with me because they were written by my grandfather's favorite authors.。

Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon. It is an honor to stand before you today to share my thoughts on a topic that is not only close to my heart but also vital to our collective future: the power of education. Education is not just a tool for personal growth; it is a cornerstone for societal development, economic prosperity, and global harmony. Today, I will explore the multifaceted role of education and why it is an indispensable asset in our quest for a better future.First and foremost, education empowers individuals. It is the catalyst that ignites the spark of curiosity and the thirst for knowledge within us. By acquiring knowledge, we gain the ability to think critically, analyze complex situations, and make informed decisions. Thisintellectual growth not only enhances our personal lives but also equips us to contribute positively to our communities.Consider the countless individuals who have changed the world through education. The likes of Albert Einstein, Mother Teresa, and Malala Yousafzai are just a few examples of individuals who have used their education to impact humanity. Einstein’s groundbreaking theories in physics have revolutionized our understanding of the universe, while Mother Teresa dedicated her life to serving the poorest of the poor, and Malala fought tirelessly for the right to education for girls in Pakistan. These are just a few stories among countless others that illustrate the transformative power of education. Moreover, education is the key to economic prosperity. In today’s globalized world, knowledge and skills are the new currency. Countries that invest in education and provide their citizens with qualitytraining and opportunities for growth are more likely to experience economic development and stability. Education equips individuals with the tools to innovate, create, and contribute to the economy, ultimately leading to job creation and improved living standards.Take, for instance, the technological revolution that has swept the world in the past few decades. It is no coincidence that countries like the United States, Germany, and Japan, which have made significantinvestments in education and research and development, have become global leaders in innovation and technology. By fostering a culture of learning and inquiry, these nations have produced some of the most successful companies and entrepreneurs in the world, such as Apple, Google, and Toyota.Furthermore, education plays a crucial role in promoting social cohesion and global harmony. In an increasingly interconnected world, it is essential to cultivate empathy, understanding, and respect among individuals from diverse backgrounds. Education provides a platform for dialogue and exchange of ideas, fostering tolerance and inclusivity. By promoting cultural awareness and understanding, education helps to bridge gaps and build bridges between different societies.Consider the ongoing global challenges, such as climate change, poverty, and inequality. Education can be a powerful tool in addressing these issues. By educating individuals on sustainable practices, environmental conservation, and social justice, we can empower them to make informed decisions and take collective action towards a more sustainable and equitable world. Education has the power to transform not only individuals but also societies, fostering a culture of peace and cooperation. However, it is important to recognize that education is not a one-size-fits-all solution. The quality of education varies greatly across the globe, and many individuals still lack access to the resources and opportunities they need to reach their full potential. This disparity highlights the need for a more inclusive and equitable education system. Governments, educational institutions, and civil society must work together to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background, has the chance to receive a quality education. In conclusion, the power of education cannot be overstated. It is a transformative force that empowers individuals, drives economic prosperity, and fosters global harmony. By investing in education and promoting a culture of learning and inclusivity, we can create abrighter and more equitable future for all.Ladies and gentlemen, let us not underestimate the power of education. It is not just a means to an end, but a beacon of hope and progress. As we move forward, let us commit ourselves to championing the cause of education and ensuring that it remains a priority in our lives and in our societies. Together, we can harness the power of education to build a better future for ourselves, our children, and generations to come.Thank you.。

Climate change, pollution, inequality, and technological advancements are just a few of the issues that demand our attention and action. It is within this context that I believe the role of young leaders becomes paramount. We, as the younger generation, are the inheritors of this world, and it is our responsibility to ensure that it remains a viable and sustainable place for future generations.Firstly, let us acknowledge the power of youth. We are the most connected generation in history. With the advent of social media and digital platforms, we have the ability to spread awareness, mobilize our peers, and influence public opinion on a global scale. This connectivity has given us a unique opportunity to amplify our voices and bring about change. We can use this power to raise awareness about environmental issues, promote social justice, and advocate for policies thatprioritize sustainability. One of the most pressing issues we face today is climate change. The effects of global warming are becoming increasingly evident, with extreme weather events, rising sea levels, and loss of biodiversity. As young leaders, we have a responsibility to take action and promote sustainable practices. This can be achieved through various means:1. Education: We must educate ourselves and others about the causes and consequences of climate change. By increasing awareness, we can inspire action and promote informed decision-making.2. Innovation: We have the creativity and drive to develop innovative solutions to combat climate change. This can involve researchingrenewable energy sources, developing sustainable agricultural practices, or creating eco-friendly products.3. Advocacy: We must use our voices to advocate for policies that prioritize sustainability. This includes pressuring governments and corporations to reduce their carbon emissions, invest in renewable energy, and protect natural habitats.Moving beyond climate change, we must also address the issue of inequality. The world is divided by class, race, gender, and socio-economic status. As young leaders, we have the power to bridge these divides and create a more equitable society. Here are a few ways in which we can do so:1. Empowerment: We must work to empower marginalized communities by providing access to education, healthcare, and employment opportunities. This will help reduce poverty and inequality.2. Inclusive Leadership: We should strive to be inclusive leaders, ensuring that our teams and organizations reflect the diversity of society. This will not only promote innovation but also foster a more just and equitable world.3. Solidarity: We must stand together in solidarity with those who are affected by inequality. By supporting social justice movements and advocating for the rights of all individuals, we can create a more just and equal society. In addition to addressing these critical issues, we must also embrace the opportunities presented by technological advancements. As young leaders, we are well-equipped to navigate the digital landscape and harness technology for the betterment of society. Here are a few ways in which we can do so:1. Digital Literacy: We must ensure that everyone has access to digital literacy training, enabling them to navigate the digital world and participate in the global economy.2. Technology for Good: We can use technology to address social challenges by developing apps and platforms that promote education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability.3. Collaboration: We must collaborate with other stakeholders, including governments, businesses, and non-profit organizations, to leverage technology for the greater good.As young leaders, we have the potential to shape the future in profound ways. However, it is essential that we do not take this responsibility lightly. We must be proactive, informed, and compassionate. Here are a few tips to help us on our journey:1. Stay Informed: Keep yourself updated on current events, scientific research, and social trends. This will enable you to make informed decisions and contribute meaningfully to the conversation.2. Lead by Example: Demonstrate sustainable practices in your own life, and encourage others to do the same. This can include reducing your carbon footprint, recycling, and conserving resources.3. Build Networks: Connect with like-minded individuals and organizations to share ideas, resources, and support. This will help you amplify your impact and create a ripple effect of positive change.4. Embrace Failure: Understand that failure is a part of the learning process. Do not be afraid to take risks and learn from your mistakes. In conclusion, as young leaders, we have a unique opportunity to shape the future of our world. By addressing the challenges of climate change, inequality, and technological advancements, we can create a sustainable, just, and equitable society. Let us embrace our power, stay informed, and lead with compassion. Together, we can make a difference and leave a lasting legacy.Thank you for your attention, and let us work towards a brighter future.[Applause]第2篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon. It is an honor to stand before you today to address the theme of "Embracing the Future: The Role of Young Minds in Shaping a Sustainable World." As young adults, we find ourselves at a critical juncture in history, where the decisions we make today will have a lasting impact on the planet and its inhabitants for generations to come. The world we live in is rapidly changing. Technological advancements, climate change, and global economic shifts are transforming the landscape of our planet. These changes present both challenges and opportunities, and it is up to us, the younger generation, to rise to the occasion and play a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable future.Firstly, let us acknowledge the power of youth. We are the most innovative, adaptable, and resourceful generation in history. Our minds are unburdened by the constraints of traditional thinking, and we have the potential to imagine and create solutions that were once thought impossible. From renewable energy to sustainable agriculture, fromsocial entrepreneurship to environmental activism, young people have been at the forefront of many groundbreaking initiatives.Consider the story of Greta Thunberg, a young climate activist from Sweden. At just 15 years old, she sparked a global movement by striking from school to demand action on climate change. Her courage and determination have inspired millions of young people around the world to join the fight for a sustainable future. This is just one example of how the power of youth can influence global change. Now, let us explore the challenges we face. The environmental crisis is one of the most pressing issues of our time. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has warned that we must take urgent action to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius to avoid catastrophic consequences. As young adults, we are inheritors of this crisis, and it is our responsibility to take action.Education is key. We must be well-informed about the issues at hand and understand the science behind climate change, pollution, and resource depletion. By equipping ourselves with knowledge, we can become informed advocates for change and inspire others to do the same.Innovation is another crucial aspect of our role. We must embrace new technologies and approaches that can help us reduce our ecological footprint and create a more sustainable world. Renewable energy, clean transportation, and sustainable urban planning are just a few examples of the innovative solutions that young people can drive forward.Collaboration is also essential. No single individual or organization can solve the complex problems we face alone. We must work together across borders, cultures, and disciplines to share knowledge, resources, and ideas. By fostering a sense of global citizenship, we can create a more inclusive and sustainable future for all.Furthermore, we must not underestimate the power of advocacy. Young people have the ability to raise awareness and influence public opinion. By using social media, attending protests, and engaging in dialogue with policymakers, we can amplify our voices and push for the changes we want to see.Let us also remember the importance of personal responsibility. As individuals, we can make small changes in our daily lives thatcontribute to a larger movement. This includes reducing our consumption, recycling, and supporting sustainable businesses. Every action, no matter how small, has the potential to create a ripple effect ofpositive change. In conclusion, the future of our planet lies in the hands of young people. We have the potential to be the leaders, innovators, and change-makers that the world needs. By embracing the challenges ahead, we can create a sustainable world that is equitable, prosperous, and resilient. Here are some key points to remember:1. The power of youth: We are innovative, adaptable, and resourceful.2. The challenges we face: Environmental crisis, climate change, and resource depletion.3. Education: We must be well-informed about the issues at hand.4. Innovation: We must embrace new technologies and approaches.5. Collaboration: We must work together across borders and disciplines.6. Advocacy: We must raise awareness and influence public opinion.7. Personal responsibility: We must make small changes in our daily lives.Ladies and gentlemen, the future is not a distant dream; it is a reality that we are shaping right now. Let us rise to the occasion and become the leaders of tomorrow. Together, we can create a sustainable worldthat is worth inheriting.Thank you.第3篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon. It is a great honor to stand before you today and share my thoughts on a topic that is not only crucial to our generation but to the future of humanity – embracing the future and the role of young minds in shaping a sustainable world. As we navigate through the complexities of the 21st century, it is clear that the challenges we face are unprecedented. Climate change, economic inequality, political tensions, and technological advancements are just a few of the issues that demand our immediate attention. However, amidst these challenges lies an incredible opportunity: the potential for young people to lead the charge in creating a more sustainable, equitable, and prosperous world.Firstly, let us acknowledge the power of youth. Young people are the most connected, innovative, and adaptable generation in history. With access to information, technology, and global networks, we have thetools to address the world's most pressing issues. Our energy, passion, and idealism are the driving forces behind social movements, technological breakthroughs, and cultural shifts. But what exactly does it mean to embrace the future, and how can we, as young minds, play a pivotal role in shaping it?1. Education and Knowledge:The foundation of any sustainable future lies in education. We must prioritize a comprehensive education system that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of our planet. By equipping ourselves with knowledge, we can better comprehend the challenges we face and contribute meaningful solutions.2. Environmental Stewardship:Climate change is perhaps the most pressing issue of our time. As young people, we have a responsibility to advocate for sustainable practices, promote renewable energy, and protect our natural resources. By taking action in our communities, we can inspire others to join the cause and drive systemic change.3. Social Innovation:The world is in dire need of innovative solutions to address social inequalities. Young entrepreneurs, activists, and leaders are at the forefront of creating sustainable businesses, non-profit organizations, and social enterprises that address the needs of marginalized communities. By leveraging our creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, we can build a more inclusive and equitable society.4. Global Citizenship:In an increasingly interconnected world, it is crucial for us to embrace our role as global citizens. We must learn to understand and appreciate different cultures, languages, and perspectives. By fostering a sense of empathy and cooperation, we can bridge divides and build a more peaceful and harmonious world.5. Leadership and Advocacy:Young people have the power to influence change. By taking on leadership roles in our communities, we can inspire others to take action and hold our leaders accountable. Through advocacy and activism, we can push for policies that promote sustainability, equality, and justice. In conclusion, embracing the future means taking responsibility for the world we want to live in. As young minds, we have the potential to lead the charge in creating a sustainable, equitable, and prosperous world. By focusing on education, environmental stewardship, social innovation, global citizenship, and leadership, we can make a tangible impact on the challenges we face.Let us not underestimate the power of our collective voice and actions. Together, we can build a future that is bright, hopeful, and full of possibilities. It is time for us to step up, take charge, and shape the world we want to see.Thank you.。

大学生英文演讲稿1Good afternoon everybody! It's my honor to speak here and I am very glad to share my topic with all of you. Today I'd like to talk about “my dream”. I do not just have one dream, in fact, I have three. They are: a healthy life, a happy family and to travel my great country.I have always admired the long healthy life my grandparents have. They are older than 80 years of age and they are still alive and kicking! How do they do that!? My grandparents plant vegetables and grow rice themselves; even in their old age they still make food for themselves! I guess that is why they can remain healthy. More importantly they remain humble and never ask for too much from life. Perhaps that makes them common, but they live a happy life. My grandmother once told me this:” I do not want to live long, only long enough for some grand children to be running around in my house”. I want to live a long, healthy and happy life just as they have.Since my graduation from primary school, until now, every time on my birthday I make the same wish. I wish my parents will not fight anymore. I am not complaining that they gave me a bad childhood, they just fight so much! I am unhappy but that does not mean they do not love me. They do! They love me with all their heart. I love my parents also; I want them to live a happy life as well.I want to travel this great country of ours. I want to see the beauty of our country. I want to see the miracles that made this country great! I want to go from the east to west, from the north all the way down to the south! I have a dream, that one day I can travel and see my country with my family and friends! If that is not possible, seeing my country on my own is good enough also. If I can fulfill all three of my dreams in life, then God can take me away. I would be happy, and l would have lived a full and prosperous life.Thank you everyone for listening to my dreams.I thank you!大学生英文演讲稿2Good afternoon ,ladies and gentlemen!I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! my topic is Opportunities and Challenges.First, I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you? Happiness, wisdom, a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question to president Nixon, he would probably had said,”Our destiny offers not the cup of despair, but the chalice of opportunity.”Needless to say, one of the biggest opportunities given to China is the 2015 Olympic Games. Till now, we have used two sevenths of the preparation time. How much changes have you seen? New roads, new subway lines, public-exercising equipments with beautiful colors, large blocks of grass fields, and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction.Other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by the Olympic Games that cannot be seen directly. For ex ample, more and more people will get to know China. I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attract them strongly. And the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened. What is more, Olympic Games give a unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so many advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone should use some time to think of this question, ”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaning to you?”For us, I mean the Chinese youth, 2015 Olympic Games is a tremendous gift. Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying the love given to us .The society is just like a ship, and in our dreams the captain is waving his hand and saying ”Hey! Come here and take the helm! ”How charming his voice is, but we have never heard of it in our true life. This morning, however, when we wake up, we will see the Olympic Games waving its hand. After chewing, most of us will have at least one plan about what to do for the Olympic Games. And mine is to be a “comforter” ----that is someone who will give comfort to others. At the end of my speech, I hope all the preparation will go well, and everyone will show their ability to the world. Let us seize opportunities and give a big smile to challenges.大学生英文演讲稿36am when I put on this ZARA dress, I found its label writes this: “Designed in Spain. Made in Vietnam.” And it is now available all over the Chinese market. ZARA is the fastest amongvarious fashion brands. With advantages generated by globalization, from raw material to labor, from warehouse to shipping, it takes only 12 to 15 days for ZARA to turn a design on sketch paper to clothes on shelves.Globalization has eliminated numerous barriers and made the world flat ever since it gained momentum in the 1990s. But recently it seems to be rolled back by someone like Donald Trump in US and Marine Le Pen in France. Public opinions are being misled by their claim that recoiling from globalization seems to be the panacea to the two most urgent problems troubling many people in the west—employment and refugees. But can we buy the story?Withdrawing from TPP seems to be an act that can move factories back from third world countries so that new jobs can be created and therefore unemployment rate reduced. However, the cost of the products would also be raised since the labor at home and the transport of raw materials are more expensive, which causes greater pressure on all the families in terms of household expenditure. People may manage to get new jobs but the living standard does not improve. And this is the story that anti-globalization politicians would never tell to the voters. In addition to the concern of employment, the influx of refugees also touches a highly sensitive nerve. Rejecting asylum seekers may promote domestic security in the short run, but it tramples what’s equally important--humanitarianism and responsibilities. Refugees such as those from Syria are not born refugees; they are made refugees by the Wars that shattered their homes and countries. The real solution therefore is not isolation but globalization because globalization promotes interdependence among nations whereby conflicts and wars aremore likely to be prevented.Yes, there are defects in globalization, such as environmental deterioration, polarization between the rich and the poor, and exploitation of workers, to name just a few. But what we need to do is not putting an end to it but putting it right. As the second largest economy of the world, China should hold a lead. We should promote global governance fight against contamination. We should strike a balance between efficiency and equity so that different countries, different social classes and different groups of people can all enjoy the benefits of globalization.Globalization has just stepped into its twenties, pretty much like us young adults. Every twenty something is so energetic, striding to achieve more and surely deserving a second chance to pull back from the deviation. As we consumers are enjoying benefits and convenience brought by ZARA and other international brands, we see clearer that the question now is not whether to accept or reject globalization but how to make it fairer, cleaner and a win-win for all.大学生英文演讲稿4Honourable judges, ladies and gentlemen,Good afternoon! Today I would like to talk about the importance of keeping optimistic. When we encounter difficulties in life, we notice that some of us choose to bury their heads in the sand. Unfortunately, however, this attitude will do you no good, because if you will have no courage even to face them, how can you conquer them? Thus, be optimistic, ladies and gentlemen, as it can give you confidence and help you see yourself through the hard times, just as Winston Churchill once said, “An optimist sees an opportunity in every calamity; a pessimist sees a calamity in every opportunity.”Ladies and Gentlemen, keeping optimistic, you will be able to realize, in spite of some hardship, there’s always hope waiting for you, which will lead you to the ultimate success. Historically as well as currently, there are too many optimists of this kind to enumerate. You see, Thomas Edison is optimistic; if not, the light of hope in his heart could not illuminate the whole world. Alfred Nobel is optimistic; if not, the explosives and the prestigious Nobel Prize would not have come into being. And Lance Armstrong is also optimistic; if not, the devil of cancer would have devoured his life and the world would not see a 5-time winner of the Tour De France.A rose may be beautiful, or maybe not; that depends on your attitude only, and so does success, so does life. Hindrances and difficulties do exist, but if you are optimistic, then they are only episodes on your long way to the throne of success; they are more bridges than obstacles! Now I prefer to end my speech with the great British poet Shelley’s lines: “If winter comes, can spring be far behind?” Thank you!大学生英文演讲稿5Failure is what often happens.it is everywhere in your life.students may fail in exams, science may fail in their researchwork, and athletes may fail in competitions.although failure happens to everyone, attitudes towards failure are various. some people don't think their failure is a very important thing at all. so they pay no attention to it. as a result, they will have the same failure a previously later.they spend their thime and energy on useless things and they may really be fools as they have thought.Success is not easy to talk about because the word success it-self has hundreds of definitions. For some it means power, forsome it means wealth, for others it is fame or great achieve-ments. But I have my own understanding of it.Success means to try your best. Many people believe that success means to win. In my opin-ion, it means to try your best when you do everything, no matter you will win or not. When you are taking part in a long-distance race, if you keep on running as fast as you can, you are successful, although you may be the last to pass the finishing-line. Because you have showed your best to others, and you have made I your greatest effort to be the winner.Success means to work hard.No one can succeed without any hard work. Karl Max was successful, because he spent more than 30 years writing the book "Communist Manifesto"; Tomas Edison succeeded, because he had experimented thousands of times to find the best material for lights. Every success calls for hard work. If you want to suc-ceed, work hard first.other people are quite different from the two kinds of people mentiond above. instend of being distressed and lost, they draw a lesson from every failure and become more experienced. after hard work, they will be successful in the end. It is said that failure is the mother of success. success will be gained after times of failures so long as we are good at drawong lesson from our failures.in my opinion , failure is not a bad thing , the really bad thing is taking a failure as failure or even lose our heart after failure.More importantly, today, the world is undergoing fast rhythm of changing, some issues occur in one way this time and reoccur in another way that time.Such instability and inconstancy make many long-time-lasting conventions and traditions notvalid any longer. People encounter pile of new conditions everyday in current society, it is hard to find adequate reference from the wisdom of conventions for all of these new thing, what can really lead people to success is rational mind and creative ways of thinking. T o meet the requirement of new missions, only creative activities could give out adaptive strategies. Without creative thinking ways, there would no such increasingly development of science and technology in the past two centuries, no new type America-style democracy in the world, no so many products making modern life so comfortable and convenient. Creative practices and original idea are the engine of the fast development of modern life, and are most essential for people to accomplish successful achievement in all kinds of fields.。
