《中华大地的远古人类》

本?讲教材分谋人、北京人到山顶洞人的演进过程,勾画了中华大地早期人类进化的轮廓。中华文明遍布各地,呈现了多元发展、互相渗透、融为一体的特点。

1通过阅读“中国原始人类主要遗址分布图”,初步掌握识别历史地图的基本技能。初步了解、认识历史领域中的考古知识、历史地图、文物插图、古史资料等各种不同的知识范围。

类生活在哪里?远古时代的人是怎样劳动和生活的?他们又是怎么会发展进

步成为今天的人的?大家一定都很想了解,那就让我们一起来学习第一课。

讲授新课:

(一)元谋人

我们中国历史悠久,是目前世界上发现原始人类遗迹最多的国家。看“中国原始人类主要遗址分布图”,我国原始人类遗址的分布有什么特点?(生思考回答)是的,多数遗址分布在大江、大河流域,气候适宜,平原肥沃,有利于原始人类的活动和发展。

1965年,考古工作者在云南省元谋县发现了两颗牙齿。以后,在同一地层中又发现了石器和炭屑。同学们猜一猜,这些遗存是属于动物还是人?并说明你的理由?(生小组交流,在教师指导下得出结论)同学们的结论和考古工作者的结论一样,这些化石正是原始人类的遗存。经考古学家们的测定,元谋人的生存年代距今约170万年,是目前我国已知的最早的人类。但是,元谋人留给我们的信息实在太少了,我们需要有能提供更多,更完整信息的遗址来让我们了解原始人类的生活。

(二)北京人

1、北京人的生存年代:北京人的发现就给我们提供了相当多的关于原始人类生活情况

的信息。为什么这批原始人被称为“北京人”呢?(生自由回答)20世纪20年代后期,在

北京周口店龙骨山的山洞里,考古工作者首先发现了人的头盖骨化石。在以后的考古发掘中,陆续出土了40多个人的200多块化石、10多万件石器和石片及大量灰烬。根据考古工作者的测定,这些化石属于距今约70—20万年远古人类遗存。由于这些人是在北京地区被发现

的,所以考古工作者把这些人叫作北京人。

2、体质特征:北京人长得什么样呢?我们看看“北京人头部复原像”,你再看看你周围的同学,说说看,北京人的外貌同现代人相比有哪些特别的地方?(生看图,比较,思考后

自由回答)从外貌上看,北京人和现代人还有很大差距,还保留着猿的一些体质特征。但是,北京人已经开始象现代人一样直立行走了。这促进了北京人下肢的发展。那么,北京人的上肢、下肢的发展是不是同时进行的?哪个发展快些?(生讨论回答)北京人的上肢由于劳动,变的很灵活,发展快些,基本具备了现代人的特点,而下肢主要只是支撑身体直立行走,

发展慢些。这说明,劳动在从猿到人的进化过程中起了重要的作用。

3、会制造使用石器:北京人使用那些工具来劳动?在北京人的遗址中,出土了10多万件石器和石片,看“北京人使用的打制石器”,请同学们仔细观察,这些石器和天然的石块

有什么区别?(生分析回答,得出有明显的加工过的痕迹的结论)你想象一下,北京人是怎样制造这些工具的?(生自由回答)北京人会用这些工具来做哪些事情?(生自由回答)

北京人所具有的这些特征,动物并不具有,也就是说,北京人在制造工具和使用工具的过程中,经过了认真的思考。所以,我们说,北京人在身体进化的同时,什么也在进化?(生自由回

答)据考证,北京人的脑容量是猿的两倍多,比现代人的脑容量略小,所以我们说,制造和使用工具,是人类在进化过程中取得的一项重大的进步。

4、使用天然火:在北京人遗址,考古工作者还发现了一堆一堆的灰烬堆和动物的烧骨,

(三)山顶洞人

我们在“中国原始人类主要遗址分布图”发现,北京人三个字下面还有“山顶洞人”几个字。山顶洞人也是在周口店龙骨山发现的一种原始人类,他们距今18000年。阅读课本

第四页,比较“山顶洞人头部复原像”和“北京人头部复原像”,看山顶洞人在外貌上和北

京人有哪些不同?看看山顶洞人的生活、劳动和北京人相比有哪些进步?(生小组讨论回答)正如同学们所说,山顶洞人无论在外貌还是劳动技能方面都有很大的进步,他们已经同现代
