《英语听力》课程教学大纲
一、课程说明
《英语听力》课程是英语专业必修专业基础课，为核心课程之一，与其他专业基础课程，如英语口语、英语阅读、英语写作等互为补充，是英语基本技能培养的关键环节。
二、教学目的及要求
本课程的主要目标是提高学生英语听力理解能力，为说英语打下基础，同时培养学生良好的听力习惯，刺激学生主动学习的动力，通过听力理解提升的过程，培养学生的思辨能力、合作交流以及自主学习的能力。通过系统的训练，使学生能逐渐掌握各种英语听力技巧，听懂不同体裁和题材的听力材料。
在第一学年结束时，学生能够掌握以下技能：
（1）能听懂简单的日常生活用语，能听懂难度基本上不超过所学语言知识面，题材又较为熟悉的报道或日常生活交谈，可以抓住中心大意、理解概要内容，同时能辨别讲话者的态度和语气。本学年的听力素材涉及到人类生活的以下方面：教育、人口及语言、旅行、各国文化、网络时代、体育运动、交通、财经报道、和平与发展、新年计划和对未来的展望、婚恋家庭、人的个性、事业规划、成功的秘诀、科学报道、体育运动、休闲生活、环境保护、以及新闻听力等。
（2）培养以下具体的听力技巧：理解数字、找准中心思想和提前预判、怎样列出一篇听力语篇的提纲、学会放弃个别听不懂的单词，跟上说话者语速和怎样在听新闻报道时抓住新闻提要等。
（3）能听懂"美国之音"慢速英语广播中的新闻和报道，要求抓住核心观点。
（4）能在15分钟内听写字数不超过150字的短文，念四遍，第一、四遍语速为正常语速，第二、三遍有停顿，要求错误率不超过10％。
在第二学年结束时，学生能够掌握以下技能：
（1）能听懂中等难度（如TOEFL中的短文）的听力材料，理解大意，领会说话人的态度、感情和真实意图。
（2）能大体辨别各种带方言口音的英语（如美式英语、英式英语、印度英语等）。
（3）听懂VOA正常速度和BBC新闻节目的主要内容。
（4）能在15分钟内听写词数为200个左右、语速为每分钟120个单词的短文，错误率不超过8%。
三、学时分配
该课程安排在第一、第二学年的四个学期，第一学期16周，第二学期18周，第三学期18周，第四学期18周，每周2学时，共计140学时，学分计为8个学分。
