Good afternoon,honorable judges,distinguished guests,my dear fellow debaters，ladies and gentleman.It is a great honor of us to stand at the final stage here.We are now here debating whether learning Oral English is more important than learning Written English,and we think the positive answer should be chosen.The reasons why we say so are determined by a lot of factors,which can be listed as follows:

First of all,I want to emphasize a motto which was put forward by Karl Marx——Practice is the sole criterion for testing truth.This theory is also suitable for learning English.There is no denying that the purpose of learning English is to use it,and writing is just one of the ways to learn it well.Only by practicing more and more can you really master this language.
首先，我想要再次强调卡尔·马克思先生曾经说过的一句名言——时间是检验真理的唯一标准。这个理论同样适用于英语的学习。无可否认，英语学习的目标便是能够熟练掌握它，而书面英语只是学好英语的途径之一。只有不断实践口语能力，才能使你真正掌握这门语言。Furthermore, as china playing a more and more important role in today’s international society,the significance of learning Oral English well is highlighted by most people.more and more foreigners come to China for traveling,studying or having business.So may I ask all of you here a question?Without fluent oral English,how can you communicate well with all these foreign guests?I don’t think just by writing every sentence on a piece of paper can help us have a better communication with foreign people.

Last but not the least important,one phenomenon is usually ignored by most people——good Oral English can enhance your ability of learning English,Written English is no exception.I believe that is why more and more schools are setting up Oral English course for their students.

Many people consider this technology a promising one as to bring all human being to a new era in which all human reproduction will be aomplished by cloning.Thus scientists in some countries have already started their great plan to clone human.But let's think, what is the practical value in doing so?You may ___ me that it can bring hope for those couples unable to have children because they might choose to have a copy of one of them rather than aept the gene intrusion from a doner.But imagine,if you have a child owning the same apperance as yours or your husband's, will you aept it without any unfort?

What we are discussing is which is more important，instead of that which is important；If I understood you correctly, you said that we are dependent on the opportunity so that we woul d say “NO” to the hard work，which I’m What we want to express is that when someone has opportunity and the hard work at the same time，The former is more important for him to achieve success.
