1.Start of work

The Contractor starts to work after KAZ Minerals representative approves and confirms the drawings and the other contractors permit the Contractor’s access to the construction site.

Obtain necessary permits to work on railway and get coordination with local aktogay train KTZ company.Isolation of rail to prevent trains on track while working on track

2.Work completion phase

All work must fully comply with the current applicable editions of the documents issued by the Customer,including,without limitation to,drawings, technical services,manufacturers'recommendations,and standards and norms.

The construction will be carried out according to the following stages:

2.1Removal of the existing upper structure of the railway

Dismantling of the various parts composed of railway sleepers.

Manual digging of the gravel layer.

Provide sketch drawing for road rerouting,road traffic requirement signs

2.2Foundation pit excavation

Building of a crane platform to facilitate the crane’s operation.

Excavation of the cable trench to the design elevation of the casing foundation, and leveling and tamping of the foundations.

2.3Installation of hot dip galvanized(HDG)steel pipes

Laying of sands at the bottom.

Installation of hot dip galvanized steel pipes.

Laying of sands on the upper layer.

Placing of cable protective covers.

Backfilling of cable trench.

Setting up of plastic signs.

2.4Construction of the roadbed

(a)When the soil layer's thickness is more than0.5m,carry out both soil tamping layer by layer and backfilling of the trench.

(b)When the soil layer's thickness is not more than0.5m,carry out construction of the railway’s roadbed.

2.5Installation of the upper structure of the railway

When the number of sleepers per1km is1600(1440),use R65-type rails whose length https://www.doczj.com/doc/5113955910.html,y rails and concrete sleepers on the roadbed.

Laying of gravels on the roadbed.

Levelling of the roadbed.

3.Environmental protection measures

1)Environment protection should be carried out on the construction site.If,due to the construction,we have to excavate the road and stop the supply of water and electricity,we must make application and get approval in advance.We will repair the excavated roads and ditches timely,remove the site waste materials and rubbish as soon as possible,level the site,make good drainage for the site.When the construction is finished,the site shall be clean without any waster materials.

2)The soil from trench excavation will not be piled up on the road and shall be transported out of the site.During transportation,the soil shall be prevented from coming off the trucks,so as to keep the roads clean.

3)Remove all isolations and close the permits when the work finished.

4.Health,Safety and Environment(HSE) Management System

An HSE administration system shall be set up.HSE management manuals and procedure work documents should be prepared,and records should be taken.

4.1HSE management goal

No construction accidents,no injuries,no environmental pollution accidents.

Put an end to production death accidents,huge fire hazard accidents and traffic accidents.

Construction sites are standard and clean,and environmental protection meets the requirements of Kazakhstan standards.

All the people engaged in special work have the related certificates and be authorised to work on railways.

The designed safety and technical measures are all taken.

4.2HSE management measures.

Necessary permits obtained to work on rail,positive isolation of track eg.lock on track noise(expossive)devices to warn of approaching train

For the selection of the construction temporary camp,fire-proof,anti-explosion, and windproof conditions should be considered,so as to choose a good place.

The rubbish and waste water produced in the temporary camp should be

concentrated and then discharged,and they should not pollute the environment and water resources.

The health and safety of the personnel on the construction site should be fully considered.

The construction site should be cleaned in advance so that it will be neat.The roads should be unblocked to facilitate the transportation and installation.

People should set up warning boards,warning tapes,alarm lamps,guardrails, and banners when there is cutting or excavation on the main roads.In order that the roads will not be blocked,the construction should be carried out only on half part of each road.Red lights must be set up at night.

During the cable trench excavation,pay attention to the protection of the underground fiber optical cables,water supply and drainage pipes,and cables and other facilities.

The workers entering the construction site must wear the uniform personnel protection equipment(PPE),and the people engaged in special work should use the PPE according to the relevant regulations.
