摘要
不管是过去还是现在，西方吸血鬼和中国僵尸在人们的印象中都是神秘的，有关吸血鬼与僵尸的记录和文学作品非常多，特别是如今随着影视化的发展，人们将他们的形象展现在大荧幕上，我们对他们的了解也越来越深，而谈到中国的僵尸人们总会不自觉联想到西方吸血鬼，它们分别代表着中西鬼文化。本文通过对比研究西方吸血鬼与中国僵尸，对它们的形象特征进行研究，找出他们的异同点，分析产生这种异同点的原因，进而发现中西鬼文化之间的异同点。
全文共分为六章，第一章阐释了研究西方吸血鬼与中国僵尸的目的与意义以及文献综述，第二章通过搜集文献研究吸血鬼与僵尸的传说与起源。第三章以《初代吸血鬼》与《僵尸先生》两部作品为例，对吸血鬼与僵尸的形象特征进行对比分析。第四章分析吸血鬼与僵尸相似的原因。第五章分析吸血鬼与僵尸差异性原因。最后总结全文并强调研究西方吸血鬼与中国僵尸的重要意义。

ABSTRACT
Whether it is in the past or in the present, both western vampires and Chinese zombies are always mysterious in human’s mind. There are countless historical records and literary creations of vampires and zombies. Especially nowadays, with the development of film and television, their images are showed on the big screen and we know more and more about them. When it comes to Chinese zombies, they are always associated with western vampires, which represent the culture of Chinese and western ghosts. This thesis will analyze their images and characteristics through comparing western vampires and Chinese zombies and find out their similarities and differences and then analyze reasons for the differences and similarities, thus find the similarities and differences between Chinese and western culture.
The whole paper consists of six parts. The first chapter expounds the reason to analyze western vampires and Chinese zombies and introduces the literature review. The second part analyses the legends and origins of vampires and zombies by collecting literature. The third part takes The Originals and Mr. Stiff Corpse for example to compare and analyze the images and characters of vampires and zombies. The fourth part discusses the reasons for the similarities and the fifth part discusses the reasons for the differences. Finally, there is a conclusion of this thesis and it stresses the significance of studying western vampires and Chinese zombies.
