状语从句
1.在主从复合句中修饰主句中的动词，形容词，副词等的从句叫状语从句。可分
为，时间状语从句，地点状语从句，原因，目的，结果，条件，让步，比较和方式状语从句。
2.时间状语从句
起时间状语作用的句子；
可放在句首，句中和句尾
常用引导词: when, while, as, after, before, since, till, until, the moment, hardly when , no sooner …than
「when, while, as 的用法
1)when用法最广，常可代替while和as,在while引导的从句中，动词只能是延续
性的
When the fire broke out, all the stude nts were sleep ing soun dly.
The teleph one rang while I was tak ing a bath.
2)当两个表示时间延续的动作同时发生而又有对比意味的时候，用while，
在这样的复合句中，主句从句的时态通常是相同的。
Father was preparing a report while I was playing PC games.
3)常用as 的情况：一边…一边；表示随着短暂动作的发生，另一行为伴随
发生
As he talked on, he got more and more excited.
-until和till的用法
表示一直到…”时，主句和从句都用肯定式；
I will wait un til/ till the con cert is over.
表示直到…才…”是，主句用否定，从句用肯定式。
They can ' t go un til Sun day.
-since的用法
since引导的从句中，如果是持续性动词，往往理解为某一状态的终止。
He has written to me freque ntly si nee he was ill.自从他病好以来，他常写信给我。
4主将从现。时间状语从句—般不用将来时。因此如果主句是将来时，时间状语从句一般要用现在时。

3.地点状语从句
弓丨导词where, wherever, any where, everywhere, no where
一般情况下，只要在where前面加上to/in/from the place，就可以变为定语从句
We live where the road crosses the river.
We live in a place where the road crosses the river.
4.原因状语从句
弓丨导词：单词一because as, since 短语一now that, for the reason that, in that, seeing that Because, as, sin ce, for
1)because的语气最强，用以回答why引起的提问，可表示已知或未知的世事。
可与only ,merely, just ,not连用，所引导的从句常用于主句之后，在表示强
调的时候可置于主句之前（可用于强调结构）
He was puni shed only because he broke the law.
It was because that I went to tow n yesterday.
2）as的语气最弱，不可用于强调，常至于主句之前。
As he was in a hurry, he left this bag home.
3）si nee的语气也比较弱，常表示对方已知的事实，往往相当于汉语的既然。不用于强调。常置于主句之前。

4）for连接并列句
We should be more careful, for it is already dark.

用于口语，表示较弱的原因，主从句因果关系不明显。既然，that可省略。Now （that）you are grown up, you should not rely on your parents.

7.条件状语从句
弓丨导词：if, unless, as/so long as, once, in case, on condition that, supposing (that), providing (that), provided (that), given (that)写作的时候，学会在文章里添加几个状语从句。

Though和although基本相同，但是though可以当副词，although不可以

9.比较状语从句
As …as not as/ so …as , thanthe + 比较级，the+ 比较级

10.方式状语从句
As正如，像

as if 和as though
⑴ 如果表述内容可能性很大，则用陈述语气look/seem/taste /smell等词连
用
