(1)first.My career ambition longs for learning the most advanced academic knowledge, a higher degree and international background is indispensable for my future development in China.
(2)second,I want to challenge myself in a totally different situation.I have never stepped out my motherland. To study in USA is a good opportunity to explore the world outside so that I can broaden my horizons, which will offer me a lot of benefits to build my country in two years later.
(3)third, Industrial and system engineering origined from USA. The universities in America can offer me most advanced theories in this field.

6 What is the difference between your major now and your major in USA?
my career goal is to be an excellent supervisor in engineering. My undergraduate major is on engineering and much courses（补充几门课程）is closely related to technique so that I have enough knowledge in technique. Industrial and system engineering is also on engineering but much courses is on management （补充几门课程）so that I can have a good knowledge of management.

Especially ,in my Viterbi school of engineering, among the School's faculty, 37 are members of the NAE(National Academy of Engineering美国国家工程院（National Academy of Engineering），是美国工程科技界最高水平的学术机构，成立于1964年12月，是世界上较有影响的工程院之一。当选美国国家工程院院士是工程领域专家的最高专业荣誉之一), 7 are members of the NAS(National Academy of Sciences) and 18 are Fellows of the AAAS(American Association for the Advancement of Science). Do you know NAE? It is an abbreviation of National Academy of Engineering. It is an authority in this field not only in USA but in the world as well. To be a member of NAE is an hour to every professor in this field. To have these professors teach you in the school is an hour for every student.
(2)the second reason is a global outlook and an urban location in a vibrant international city, Los Angeles.
(3)Third, the warm weather there is also a strong attraction to me,since I extremely dislike cold weather.

The university of Southern California .It is located in Los Angeles ,California.
First, Los Angeles is a global center for arts, technology and international trade, so that it is a good place to realize the differences between China and the USA ,which is good for me to help my motherland become richer and stronger when I come back in two years .Second ,I l want to live an exciting and colorful life in a big city. I am really looking forward to visiting the Hollywood, Disneyland Park, Beverly Hills. According to all above ,I think Los Angeles will be my best choice.

I applied 9 universities.They are the university of Southern California, which is founded in 1880, located in Los Angeles. Northern Carolina State university ,which is established in 1887,located in Raleigh, Northern Carolina. Lehigh university, which is established in 1865, located in Bethlehem, Pennslvania.

Actually,for the first time I read the university of South California on a book.Then, I really knew it on the website of USNEWS. What's more, one of my friends in my major ,industrial engineering ,in this university ,he told me it's really a university worth going .

I began my application from last October .
1.I prepared resume, personal statement, 3 reference letters ,Official transcripts,Financial Statement. 2, filled out the application form on these universities' website.
3, pay application fee by the visa card.
4,mailed them in the beginning of December.
