Let me share with you a piece of interesting news I heard last weekend.
Last Friday a guy went to bank in new york and tried to rob it. Actually I thought he was kind of a nice guy. Just that… you know, he lost everything in the financial crisis:he got fired, he lost his house and his wife. The only thing he had was debt. So he decided to rob the bank and get some money… or maybe to get his revenge on society
But the problem was he did n’t have a gun. So this guy just took a banana and put it in his pocket. He thought that could fool the bank tellers.
Then, he entered the bank, approached a teller, told her he had a gun and asked her to give him cash. Of course the police came. This guy got so scared and pulled out his“gun”, I mean, his banana…
The news was interesting. But actually, it was a sad story. Obviously,many people have lost their jobs in this crisis. I feel sorry for them.

I played hide and seek lots of times when I was a kid. Normally we played this game in a park or in a building with lots of rooms
The whole process was like… one of us, called the seeker, searched around for the hiders
The game started with the seeker covering his or her eyes and counting to 100 while everyone else ran off and find a place to hide
When the counting was finished, the seeker began a painstaking search for the hiding kids. And that was my favorite part of the game, the highlight… you know,the climax,coz the suspense was just so intense. The hiders could really hold their breath,being afraid of getting caught. But then,there was always someone who got caught and this person would become the next seeker…Hide and seek was fun because it was simple. These days we play psp games and get fun from our ipods. But sometimes I really miss those simple pleasures in life…

What makes this game really fun is there can be multiple answers. So when the kids choose the wrong thing, the adult should tell them no, until they finally find the exact answer.

The conversations in this sitxom were pretty funny coz the four ladies were totally different in personality. The soundtrack was good too.

Actually, when I first saw it, I didn’t expect much from it coz I was not very much into animations back then. But this one turned out to be a really good one.
The plot was like this: lord farquaad wished to marry princess fiona. But the princess was held in a
castle by a dragon. So lord farquaad talked shrek, an ugly ogre,into saving the princess. Shrek fulfilled this task but he fell in love with the princess too. At first, the princess was not inpressed. But eventually, shrek won fiona’s heart.
The movie was full of famous fairytale characters like snow white, cinderella and the three little pigs.
The soundtrack was good too…

In my view, the lion king was a great animated movie. It was shown in china quite a while back but I still remember the plot clearly. It was about a lion prince named simba. After many years. Simba was told that the kingdom was in serious trouble. So he faced up to his responsibilities, returned, defeated his uncle and saved the kingdom…
The animation was teffific and the soundtrack was amazing. I particularly liked the song “can you feel the love tonight.” By elton john.
And I learned lessons from this movie. It was about living up to our responsiblities, no matter how hard it was…

It was totally funny, hilarious, you know. The plot was like four high school students were trying to get sexual experience. The problem was, only one of them had a girlfriend. So they started courting girls, and eventually, all of them got the experience, although some of them felt so disappointed with the experience…
Well, I guess I’m not so supposed to talk about the details here, coz this movie dealt with sex. But it was good. There days too many high school movies are about violence but this one just made people laugh. And the film had a feeling of reality.
The soundtrack was amazing, very delightful and catchy. It had all the ingredients of a good movie!

Once upon a time there were three little pigs. They moved to a new village and built their homes. The first little pig built a straw house simply because that was easy. But the house was not sturdy at all.

Then of course, the wolf came along, blew the first housedown and ate the first little pig.

Well I’m planning on studying in london. So let me share with you some thoughts about the british culture.

Another thing I should emphasize here is a multitude of world-class universities in the uk,like oxford,cambridge and lse. That’s the exactly why I’m planning on studing in this country…
In terms of personality,the british people are probably kind of reserved. But it also depends on which part of the uk they live in I guess
I don’t really know much about the british food. I heard fish and chips was very popular there. But how it tastes … I have no idea
I used to think the cities there were pretty foggy all year round but some british friends of me told me that was not the case anymore

my favourite sport is swimming. Actually it’s my favourite hobby.
It’s a good work out coz it exercises every muscle in my body. Also I guess swimming skills are important coz sometimes it can really save lives.
The fun it gives me is yet another reason I’m into swimming. Actually,when I was a kid, I didin’t how to swim. Some friends of mine even laughed at me for that. My parents were afraid I would get hurt emotionally so they sent me to swimming lessons.
The instructor was very nice. At first, I just swam like a brick. My wonderful instructor showed me patiently how to kick my legs and put my face in the water, a pretty good way to “get my feet wet.” Then he taught me how to control my breathing. Little by little, I got the hang of it and felt comfortable with the water. Eventually, I could control my breathing perfectly and do the swimming strokes pretty well.
Now I can swim like a fish. I can swimtwenty laps and still feel great. I’m thankful for my instructor. He was awesome. He gave me so much confidence in myself…
Swimming is very popular in china coz it’s the best all around exercise. It keeps us fit and keeps our body in shape…
