TV: a Blessing or Curse？
In recent years, television has become the most popular form of entertainment—almost every family has a television now. Television has brought people a blessing or curse？
On one hand, Television has brought people much pleasure and information. On television people can watch Olympic Games , visit well-known scenic spots and enjoy a movie with a cup of coffee in their hands. From TV, people are informed about many things happening in the world, and people who live in different areas can also watch programs made in other countries so as to understand different cultures. However, some people argue against TV. They think spending too much time watching TV will affect human relationship. In my opinion, we shouldn’t deny the advantages of TV just because it has some drawbacks. The points is that TV itself is neither good nor bad. Its value to people and society depends on how we look at it.

A Boom in Adult Education
Presently, more and more adults spend their spare time trying to improve themselves. As we know, a lot of adults work in the daytime. After working hard all day, they rush home, gulp down their meals and hurry out to study in the night school.
But why is there a boom in adult education? There are several reasons for people to go back for their education. Some people are doing
it to acquire another degree or diploma to impress the society. They know clearly that knowledge is power, and more knowledge means more opportunities for better jobs and quicker promotion, while lack of skills and knowledge might deprive one of the opportunities to be promoted. My Views on Human Cloning
With human cloning becoming a near-term prospect, we are brought face-to-face with the most basic ethical questions of life. Opinions differ widely as to whether human cloning should be prohibited． True, human cloning clearly has much to offer. By using cells from the patient’s own body to grow organs to replace diseased parts, the problem of rejection can be avoided. This might prove useful, for example, in fighting leukemia through bone marrow transplants. But what about making an identical copy of a human being?

Therefore, I am strongly opposed to human cloning for reproductive purposes. The government should enact laws to prohibit it before it is too late. If used wisely the technology may eventually free humans from many kinds of suffering that today seem unavoidable．
