■书标头An I can read book，level 2、3 共约90本的书，都很适合有基本英文听力的小学生，甚至中学生，因为故事有趣，主题多样化，够吸引孩子，可先选有附录音带的，约30本，可反复听取，孩子爱极了。
■其中五本书后，有标明几岁，是纪录小儿子开始听的年纪，藉以提醒父母「不要低估孩子的能力」。■ * 表示同时有出「书本+录音带」的版本第六阶段
章节故事
Magic Tree House一系列30多本的冒险故事，by Mary Pope Osborne，字多图少，故事时间横跨古今，故事地点遍布全世界，而且每本都附有作者亲自朗读的录音带。
汪培珽的中文私房书单
我习惯到大型的书店买书，因为书本较多，场地较宽敞，常常趁孩子在一旁看书的时候，我就能边看边选。以下是我和孩子在不同年龄所读过的书，没有一本孩子不爱，几乎每本都应该有念过三十遍的纪录。
以下依年龄的分类，是以大女儿的经验为准。可是年纪小女儿两岁半的儿子，因为常跟着听姊姊喜欢的故事，使得小儿子常常听超过他年龄的故事，事实上，也没发生任何适应不良或听不懂而排斥的问题。所以，我想可以不要太拘泥这些年龄的区分，只要孩子能接受，喜欢就好。
0-1岁
就是所谓的婴儿阶段，基本上，这么小的孩子最不挑书，我们可以给他们会叽叽叫的玩具书，也可以念莎士比亚的剧本给他他们听，只要他们没有表达强烈的不满，例如大哭大叫，就可以根据他们的反应，试试看家里随手可得的书，三、四岁哥哥姊姊的绘本故事书，也可以念看看，应该也会讨他们的喜欢。
所以，针对一岁以下的婴儿，我没列出书单。基本上，颜色鲜艳，好翻好拿，或是所谓的布书、洗澡也可以玩的塑料书、立体书、触觉书，通通都好，如果没有预算的考虑，不怕买不到，只怕买不完。如果有预算的限制，一岁以下的书不用买太多，可以直接买一岁到两岁的书。
1-2岁（前十本小学低年级也会很喜欢）
