一、教学内容

PEP Book3 Unit4 My Home Let's learn & let's do

二、教材分析

本课是PEP教材四年级上册第四单元的第一课时,包括A部分Let’s learn. Let’s do. 同时把C部分Let’s sing.也提到本节课,让学生提前熟悉歌曲。(寻找bedroom的视频)。本节课的主要内容有让学生学习和掌握五个单词:

study ,living ,room , bedroom , bothroom, kitchen.句型:This is my home. You can see a bedroom……

对于Let’s do 部分的内容要求学生能听录音做动作。

三、学情分析

本课的教学对象是学过一年英语的四年级学生。学生具有以下特点:

(一)学生天真活泼好动。(因此在本课中我设计了很好学生动起来的活动)(二)学生具有很强的模仿能力和求知欲望,而且富有一定的逻辑思维能力,对英语的喜欢已初步体现出个性。

(三)本册教材要求学生写单词,在平时的教学中,我发现单词的记忆很难,这就要求我们在上课中注意渗透单词的拼读规律,虽然本节课的单词不要学生写,但从拼读规律这一点出发是非常有必要的。

(四)学生容易出现发音不到位或不准确的情况,在上课中多注意读起来有困难的同学。

(五)学生以前学过的知识,同时在本课容易体现的知识有:

1.学生在第一单元学习过关于classroom的单词

2.学生在三年级的时候就学做:This is …. I can see ….,但You can see …未提到过。

3.学生在第二单元学习了各种不同类型的书及数字,本单元将要学习study 这个词与书有联系。

四、课标分析

义务教育阶段英语课程的总目标是:通过英语学习使学生形成初步的综合语言运用能力,促进心智发展,提高综合素养。在本节课中,通过介绍自己家来实现综合语言运用能力,再通过出租房屋来提升在生活中的实际语言运用能力。通过情感教育,最终使学生热爱自己的家,从而实现情感教育,进而提高学生的人文素养。

五、教学目标

1. 知识目标:

100%学生能够听,说,认读 living room,study,bedroom,kitchen,bathroom。80%学生通过探究,掌握读音规律,并能在模拟的生活环境中相互交流。

2. 能力目标:

(1) 100%学生能够简单描述自己的家,结合学过的语言描述各个房间的名称、特征等。

(2) 90%学生能够听懂并能发出一些指令,如:Go to the living room, watch TV/...

3. 情感、策略、文化等有关目标:

(1) 情感目标:培养学生对家的热爱,鼓励学生大胆设想自己未来的家居。

(2) 文化目标:了解西方国家房屋结构及各部分的名称。

六、教学重、难点

重点:让学生在语言复习巩固、学习和活动中听、说、认、读生词。

难点:正确掌握单词 bathroom,kitchen 的发音。

七、教学过程

Step1、Warm-up

1. Greeting.

Listen to the music At Home.

设计意图:迪士尼英语儿歌,有动画,对于四年级的孩子来说,特别喜欢看,同时At Home.这首歌和本节课息息相关,我们每个人都应该记住It’s good to be at home.听歌的同时对学生进行情感教育。再者通过这首歌轻轻松松地把学生带入课堂。

2.Free talk

T: We are a big family .The classroom is our home. Do you like our classroom?

Ss: Yes.

T: Let’s talk about our classroom. What’s in the classroom?

Ss: A board, a computer, lights, windows…

T: What colour is it?

Ss: It’s …

设计意图:通过这个环节,第一,复习前面几节课学过的内容,让学生实现新旧知识的连接,做到知识的滚动。第二:给学生创造话题让学生去运用语言。

3. T: Our classroom is big and clean, I like it too. So we are friends. Boys and girls. Do you want to have a look? Do you want to go with me?

Ss: Yes.

学生伴随轻音乐,欣赏老师的家,聆听老师的介绍。

(Welcome to my home. Look, this is my living room. I can watch TV in the living room. Look, this is my study. There are many books in it. I can read a book. Look, this is my bathroom. I can take a shower in the bathroom. Look, this is my kitchen. I can have a snack in the kitchen. Look, this is my bedroom. I can have a sleep in the bedroom.

设计意图:通过这个环节让学生聆听英语的美,同时通过听,让学生初步的了解这节课的内容。

Step2、Presentation

1.CAI shows the picture of the house.

(1)T: This is my house. Is it beautiful? There are five rooms there.

Zoom has a nice room too. Let’s have a look.

(2)T: Look at this picture. What can you see?

Ss: I can see a window.

T: You can see a window.

What room can you see?

Ss: 书房。

T: Study.(teach the word with the picture. together—individual) CAI shows study.

T: Look, It’s a...(Ss complete.) What can you do in the study?

S: I can read a book.

T: Do you like books? Do you want to read a book?

S: Yes.

T: Let’s go. Go to the study, go to the study, read a book, read a book.(Do the actions)

设计意图:在此环节中,通过出示图片,让学生回答I can see…,老师说You can see…,让学生明白新句型You can see…,同时抓住一切可能的机会,让学生开口说,哪怕是一个单词,一个句子,都是好的开始,都是孩子的进步。

(3)T: Is it a study?

Ss: No.

T: Bathroom. (Teach the word with the picture. together—individual) CAI shows the bathroom.

T: Look, It’s a.... (Ss complete.) What can you do in the bathroom?

S: I can take a shower.

T: Do you want to take a shower?

S: Yes.

T: Let’s go. Go to the bathroom, go to the bathroom, take a shower, take a shower.(Do the actions)

设计意图:运用夸张的肢体语言,吸引学生的注意力,同时让学生做一做,学生在笑声中学会了这个单词。这也许就是寓教于乐吧。

(4) Where is Zoom? It’s on the sofa.

T: What’s this?

Ss: It’s a TV.

T: Which room?

Ss: Living room.(teach the word with the picture. together—

T: Oh, you can see a TV. What can we do in the living room?

Ss: We can watch TV.

(5)T: What’s this?

S: A bed.

T: Which room has a bed?

T: Bedroom.(teach the word with the picture. together—individual) CAI shows the bedroom.

T: Here is a nice song. Let’s listen.

How quiet it is? I want to have a sleep.

T: (Ss complete.)What can you do in the bedroom?

S: I can have a sleep.

T: Do you want to have a sleep?

S: Yes.

T: Let’s go. Go to the bedroom, go to the bedroom, have a sleep, have a sleep. (Do the actions)

设计意图:一首歌曲bedroom学生聆听了纯正的英语,同时也由此引出了短语have a sleep。

(6)T: What room can you see?

S: 厨房。

T: Kitchen.(teach the word with the picture. together—individual) CAI shows the kitchen.

T: Look, It’s a....(Ss complete.) What can you do in the kitchen?

S: I can have a snack.

T: Do you want to have a snack?

S: Yes.

T: Let’s go. Go to the kitchen, go to the kitchen, have a snack, have a snack.(Do the actions)

Step3、Practice

1. Read the words together, pay attention to bed room, living room, bath room.

设计意图:通过读单词,小结本节课的内容,同时引导学生寻找单词的拼读规律,尝试简单的记忆方法。

2. Play a guessing game“Where is Zoom?”.

设计意图:通过练习复习单词,同时引导学生使用单词,比如 It’s in the kitchen.

3.Let’s listen and do.

Go to the living room. Watch TV.

Go to the study. Read a book.

Go to the kitchen. Have a snack.

Go to the bathroom. Take a shower.

Go to the bedroom. Have a sleep.

设计意图:学生听一听,做一做,感受纯正的英语,让学生发挥自己的长处去模仿。

4.Read the paragraph and do exercises.

A house for rent(出租)

Here is a house for rent. There are five rooms, a living room, a study, a kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom. You can watch TV in the living room,

read a book in the study,have a snack in the kitchen,take a shower in the bathroom, and have a sleep in the bedroom.

设计意图:学生通过这个环节,了解英语在现实生活中的真实运用。

5. CAI shows my house. Let Ss discuss in groups and ask one from each group to describe their home.

Step4、Consolidation

Use your own cards.Design your own home in your groups.

设计意图:在这个环节中,我为学生准备一首流行的英文歌曲,给学生创造说英语的氛围,从而让学生边听边做边说,充分调动学生的每一个器官。

Step5、East or west, home is the best. Love your home. Love your father and mother for ever.

设计意图:通过这个环节,对学生进行情感教育,引导学生爱家,爱自己的爸爸妈妈。

Step6、Homework

1.Draw a home you like best.

2.Tell your home to your friends.
