五年级英语课外阅读计划

一、指导思想

以《课程标准》和新教育理念为行动指南,初步建构课外阅读课程,让阅读成为学生日常的生活方式,不断丰富学生的阅历,开拓学生的文化视野,锻炼英语思维能力,增强阅读体验,培养良好的学习习惯,为未来学习奠定坚实的基础。

二、阅读目标

结合上下文,理解句子。养成用英语思维的习惯,阅读速度有所提高,能够根据阅读材料的相关内容,回答一些比较复杂的问题。

三、材料选择

《朗文小学英语分级阅读》第6册《朗文小学英语分级阅读》第7册

《牛津故事乐园》3A、3B

四、实施方案

1. 建立科学合理的漂流机制:

五(1) 《朗文小学英语分级阅读》第6册

五(2)《朗文小学英语分级阅读》第7册

五(3) 《牛津故事乐园》3A 五(4) 《牛津故事乐园》3B

阅读完成后,采用班级漂流的方法,让学生读完以上四本书。

2. 时间安排与实施办法

(1)建议学生自己准备合适的英语词典。

(2) 每天晚上布置15分钟的课外阅读,不理解的单词查字典,还不理解的难词、难句做上记号。

(3) 每天中午利用10分钟时间让学生进行阅读,并让学生对前一天晚上遇到的问题向老师提问。教师适当进行阅读指导。

3. 阅读指导

(1)鼓励学生要养成良好的阅读习惯,持之以恒,体会英语阅读的快乐。

(2)建议学生在阅读过程中碰到看不懂的单词时不要急着查字典,可以通过适当的情境或者上下文猜测词义,要整体理解段落,还不理解的单词可查字典。

(3)在阅读过程中,不要看不懂就看中文,要自己督促自己。

(4)建议学生养成自我检查的习惯,可以适当挑些每篇小故事后的习题来做。

4.评价检查

1. 评价检查主要以“激励”原则,让学生有阅读的动力,喜爱上课外阅读。

2. 根据学生能力和水平,让学生对所看的故事简单描述,教师可适当进行评奖。

3. 教师也可通过对学生就所读的故事设计几个问题来提问,并进行适当评奖,如:阅读小能手等。

五、社团活动

根据学校安排选择合适的读本对学生进行阅读指导。

(2010-2011学年度第一学期)

指导思想:

课外阅读课程以培养学生浓厚的阅读兴趣和良好的阅读习惯为本,以提高学生的阅读能力,文学鉴赏能力,开拓学生的精神世界和心灵空间为宗旨,让读书成为习惯,让读书熏染学生美好的心灵。通过指导学生阅读,了解学生的阅读情况,引领学生运用正确的阅读方法,从而提高学生的表达能力,提升他们的语文素养。结合班级实际,我制定了本学期的课外阅读活动计划。

具体措施:

1.开辟书源广泛阅读

把英语课外读本作为学校的图书资料,由专人负责,并设立图书漂流记载本,根据各年级阅读内容安排,以班级为单位进行漂流。鼓励学生多向班级图书角、学校图书室等借阅自己喜欢的书籍,

2.确保时间多记多思

学生每天都要有至少20分钟的阅读时间,每周一个中午按漂流计划进行《牛津故事乐园》或《朗文分级阅读》的教师指导阅读活动,利用家作布置学生自读,每周的英语社团活动进行《英语名作欣赏》的辅导。阅读时坚持记笔记,摘录好词佳句,仿写经典语句等。

3.教给方法及时反馈

帮助孩子成为一名真正的读者。只有真心喜欢上阅读,孩子才能成为一个终身的读者;只有真正会阅读,才会真心喜欢阅读。教师要在平时每次晨诵、午读的阅读指导中渗透阅读技巧和方法,解决在阅读时遇到的问题,同时不定期在班上开展读书交流活动,让学生介绍自己的阅读故事,相互交流阅读经验:如《I read in this way》,《My favourite story》等,提高孩子的阅读质量。

4.多元评价力求发展

以学校评价与家长评价相结合;以老师评价和学生评价相结合:制作一份阅读评价表——《我的一周阅读回顾》,请家长合作,对学生一周的阅读情况进行周评,然后于星期一早上交给老师进行批阅,对表现好的同学给与表扬。同时每周结合阅读进度检查,以班级为单位评选出“阅读之星”、“故事大王”等。

5. 享受阅读享受生活

利用手抄报、板报、壁画、书画走廊等媒介,充分展示学生的阅读成果;每阅读好一篇完整的故事,可鼓励学生对阅读材料进行自主加工,再以讲故事、演讲读后感、课本剧等形式进行表演。

读书漂流,播洒芬芳!时间过得真快,一瞬间一个月过去了。我班和其他班级交换了阅读书目,沉默的教室顿时变得沸腾起来!看着孩子们那神采飞扬的表情,我也感到很欣慰:孩子们喜欢阅读,自觉阅读了!过了一两天,我再次去布置阅读作业时,我听到有些学生说他们好多同学全都看完了。我稍带责备地说:“看这么快,能有什么名堂?”我试着请几位学生讲述讲述里面的故事,唉!你可别真说,他们都能流利地把一则故事讲出来!我希望这样良好的习惯能继续保持下去!

学期即将结束,在这一个寒冷的冬季,我们依旧感到学习的温馨!课外阅读要搞一个尾声,在我班我会按照读书计划评比出各类奖项,学生都乐呵呵!看!他们装载着满心的欢喜准备迎接新一年的到来。

“冰冻三尺,非一日之寒”,培养学生的阅读能力,是一个渐进的复杂过程,切忌操之过急。兴趣是动力,养成良好的阅读习惯是前提,必要的阅读技巧指导是关键。我们教师应循序渐进,并要与听、说有机结合,才会极大地提高小学生的阅读能力,从而进一步提高学生综合运用语言的能力。

今天中午,我与孩子们一起徜徉在书海中,那兴奋的笑脸让我感动着,也愧疚着。曾经,我认为有些孩子不会为英语作出丝毫努力,我也觉得有些孩子根本是与英语无缘,而今天他们捧起书那认真的模样,却久久地在我脑中挥之不去。可一个个疑惑攀上了我的心头,在他们阅读的旅程中遇见“拦路虎”时,该怎么办呢?显然,陪伴他们阅读只是偶尔为之也非长久之计,当他们在独立阅读时可曾因为遇到生词想到过放弃,进而将曾爱不释手的英语课外书弃之一旁呢?而我又该给他们什么样的指导呢?我想从点滴做起,既然是泛读,首先,要求学生先从掌握文章大意做起,不要揪住一词一句不放;其次,要求学生不要忙着查字典或翻单词表,而是让学生联系上下文猜关键词的意思;最后,要求学生摘抄词汇及句子,尝试运用。

这段时间学校将书收上去了,做书签标记,统计本数,我原以为孩子们不会想念牛津故事乐园,想不到他们一个劲问我什么时候发下来,孩子们太可爱了,牛津故事乐园对他们有着独特的吸引力。

自从本学期开展英语阅读以后,学生的词汇量增加了。在阅读故事时,让他们结合上下文理解单词、句子。把不认识的单词像做语文的读书笔记一样,把它整理下来,把故事中的名人名言写下来。一段时间过来,学生的阅读水平提高很多。布置他们将阅读的故事进行表演,课后学生自己在小组内进行排演,表演给全班同学看。学生的口语水平也相应提高很多。开展英语阅读对学生的帮助很大,我们要通过各种方式来对他们的阅读进行展示,多督促学生去阅读更多的故事。

捧着重重的《牛津故事乐园》进教室,随即就引起了一阵不小的骚动。明黄色的主色调加上色彩斑斓的图案,宛如一曲激越的旋律振奋了同学沉睡萎靡的神经。

在我说的过程中,早有几个孩子探着头,试图要瞄上那么一眼新书。书一本一本传了下去,有的学生指责别人:你手脏的!于是那位同学便立即在衣服蹭了几下,再小心翼翼地打开书本。教室里渐渐有了细细索

索的声音,那是他们在朗读、翻译;那也是他们在交头接耳,指指点点,不时用眼神交汇;更有甚者,看到激动处竟做起动作来。

我不禁震惊:他们和刚才的讲评课表现简直天壤之别啊!

我认为教师的英语阅读更为重要,因为只有教师带头阅读,才能引导学生阅读;只有教师喜爱阅读,才能引导学生爱上阅读。我们教师的阅读行为是能够感染学生的,同时同学的阅读爱好也是能相互感染的。所以我们教师要先引导那些好的学生,使他们首先养成英语课外阅读的习惯,并通过他们的示范带头作用,来感染其他同学,从而逐步引导更多的学生喜爱英语阅读,加深英语阅读的氛围,久而久之就会形成英语书香校园了。
