八、教材分析

本单元以学生最为熟悉的日常作息习惯为谈论话题,通过对句型what time is it? It’s six. What time do you usually get up? I usually get up at six a.m. 练习时间的表达法和学问方式,同时逐步的培养学生合理安排时间的能力。整个单元以谈论日常作息时间安排为主线,将日常生活中所涉及到的语言、词汇和时间的表达法融入一些列的小任务中,初一的学生通过完成一个个的任务达到交际的目的,从而能够合理的安排自己的作息时间且初步了解时差。

Section A 主要学习时间表达法以及学会使用what time和when来询问他人的作息时间安排。

1a, 1b, 1c主要是学习时间的表达法,以及如何询问时间。

2a, 2b, 2c, 2d学习如何表述他人的日常作息时间安排以及如何使用what time 和when来询问他人的日常作息安排。主要练习第一、二人称的使用。

Grammar Focus, 3a, 3b, 3c主要是学习并区别频率副词always, usually and never。并且巩固目标语言的使用。主要练习第三人称的使用。

Section B学会使用quarter来表述时间,学会使用第三人称来谈论他人的作息时间安排,并学习如何合理的安排自己的作息时间。

1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e学习quarter的使用方法,及使用第三人称来巩固目标语言。

2a, 2b, 2c通过阅读短文,了解哪些是健康的习惯,哪些是不健康的习惯,从而合理的安排为自己安排健康的活动。

2. Presentation (呈现新知识)

(1) Present some pictures of clocks. Teach Ss how to say the time.

T:Look, what time is it?

Ss: It’s six/six thirty/seven/seven thirty/eight o’clock, etc.

Teach Ss how to use what time/o’clock.

Have Ss practice saying them.

(2) Present some pictures of activities in 1a. Help Ss to understand these new phrases: get up, go to school, get dressed, brush teeth, eat breakfast, take a shower.
