各个方面。在“21世纪杯”演讲比赛的各个环节中，即兴演讲最具挑战性。它考验你独立思考、迅速、透彻地分析问题以及在毫无准备的前提下用英语进行有效交流的能力。因为所有选手都有充足的时间准备已备演讲，所以在这部分比赛中他们通常表现出色。但是到了即兴演讲部分很多人就变得言语结巴了。因此你若想取得前几名的成绩，就必须在即兴演讲中取得高分。
即兴演讲对于使用母语演讲的学生来说都是件难事，对于使用第二语言演讲的学生来说
就更是费力了。然而，它为你以后走出校门步人社会提供了极好的锻炼机会，因为到那时很多情况下都需要你立即清楚、有力地表达出自己的观点。
无论你在哪里演讲，成功的即兴演讲最重要的因素都是缜密的思维和有条理的组织。在
比赛中，你有三分钟时间发表即兴演讲。首先确定你要阐述的两至三个主要观点，然后简明、清楚地加以讨论。必要时使用实例、数据或证词来支持你的观点。因为很多即兴演讲题目都是在问你个人的观点，你可以在演讲中充分利用自己的经历。。最重要的是，一定要避免漫谈和重复。阐明一个观点之后就接下去谈下一个。你可用“第一”、“第二”、“第三”这样的路标来
