投档时，只看分数是否符合院校要求。考生档案投进高校后，再进行分专业的录取。是否填了服从专业调剂就一定会被录取，要看高校招生章程的具体要求。有的高校明确：“对进档考生，当所填专业志愿不能满足时，若服从专业调剂，身体合格，符合录取条件，进档不退档”。如果高校有这样的承若，考生档案投进高校后，符合录取条件不会退档，反之，会有退档的风险。
1：考生总分高于院校录取线而没有达到专业线并且不服从调剂。
2：高考总分达到相应批次录取线，但相关科目较差或因身体条件不符合所报专业要求而予以退档。
3：因各院校投档线的人数都比实际录取的新生多20%，因而投档线上的“边缘生”，很可能遭遇进档后退档的风险。
高校退档主要有这些理由：部分学校调档比例超出1:1，而报考考生总分偏低；单科成绩不符合学校录取要求；身体条件受限；专业不服从调剂等。为避免退档，应注意以下几点：
（1）合理设置志愿梯度，不要盲目“冲一冲”，也许你的档案冲进了某个高校，但由于部分学校调档比例超出1:1，而你刚刚踩上投档线或超该校投档线不多，可能被退档；
（2）一定要认真阅读高校招生章程和高考直通车公布的各高校在单科成绩、身体条件等方面的要求，把工作做细；
（3）尽量选择“服从专业调剂”。
1、当你的档案被投档到某所院校后，院校会检索你填报的专业。如果你所填报的六个专业都已经招满人了，你又没有填服从调剂，就会被退档。
2、如果你的身体条件不符合你所填报的专业要求（比如身高、视力等），你又没有服从调剂，你就会被退档。
简单理解：不符合学校要求或者没过学校最低录取分数线，就会被退档。
被退档后果：高职高考录取中如果被退档了，就只能等补录了。
