1).时间副词从句:多用when, once, as. while等连结,不过在GMAT中,when普遍使用,once少用,as更多表示其他意思,while更多用作并列连词表转折、对比。
2) 目的副词从句:从属连词so that(最多见).in order that 。
3) 结果副词从句:从属连词so/such…that(最多处);so(that)。
4) 原因副词从句:从属连词because(最多见),since(少用)。
(1) Though, although, even though, even if:(2) whenever. where ever 和however 引入副词从句表让步(3) while:一般放句首,并含育前后对比之意,如:例题解析: However much United States voters may agree that there is waste in government and that the government as a whole spends beyond its means, it is difficult to find broad support for a movement toward a minimal state.(A) However much United States voters may agree that(B) Despite the agreement among United States voters to the fact(C) Although United States voters agree(D) Even though United States voters may agree(E) There is agreement among United States voters that题解:由未划线部分的and that表明在there is之前,即划线部分的最后一个that, B、C、D 都不符合此要求排除:E简化后为:there is agreement, it is difficult任何述词,shutdow属于run-on 结构(两个句子之间仅用逗号连接,却无任何连词),绝对错。
1.Downzoning, zoning that typically results in the reduction of housing density, allows for more open space in areas where little water or services exist.(A) little water or services exist(B) little water or services exists(C) few services and little water exists(D) there is little water or services available(E) there are few services and little available water这是一道典型的难题,充分体现了GMAT语法相对正确性的原则。

1. For all his professed disdain of such activities, Aden was an inveterate literary gossip.(A)For all his professed disdain of such activities(B)Having always professed disdain for such activities(C)All such activities were,he professed disdained and(D)Professing that all such activities were disdained(E)In spite of professions of disdaining all such activities本题的划线句成分比较简单,所考查的要点为for的使用和profess, disdain两个动词与未划线句的对应。

原则二:Just like 是wordy, like就可以了。
Like**, **also 也是redundant。
(e.g.,og119.C)3. like
(e.g.,og091)但like+n.也可作表语 (looks like, reads like (e.g.,大全568)),或普通状语(说普通是区分独立成分)(v.+like+n.,e.g., og119)。

定语从句尽量省略原则:which be/that be 形容词/过去分词,which be/that be应尽量省略。
2. whose/which/that就近指代原则。
3. There be/enough/instead of(相对于rather than)/due to/because of(相对于because)/despite/if(相对于whether)/maybe出现错原则。
7. 强语气词(only/only if,情态动词,however/ whatever/ whenever/ wherever)不改变原则。
8. Have 动作性名次错原则,改为do或者be adv done。
9. Be to do表将来时错原则10.Having/being出现错原则(having的特例,credit后面用having;being的特例,the chance of being/the distinction of being)。
11.Consider n1 n2/adj出现正确原则pare/base用被动原则13.Similar to/differ from不位于句首原则14.Continue不用进行时原则15.if/when/because三种关系强加/丢失错原则二. 引起平行的结构:a. and, or, but, yetb. not only A, but also B/not A, but B/c. rather thane.
