Daily talk: 在热身之后通过老师提问What can you see in the pencil-box/ classroom?让学生用前几课时已学句型I can see…回答,这样在复习单词的同时,用看得见摸得着的熟悉的实物来操练,创设了一个与实际环境相结合的情景,学生通过观察运用已学的词汇,体现语言的交际性。同时自然地引出下面的内容。 While-task procedure这是本教时的重点内容,安排了五个环节依次展开教学 第一步:接着刚才的Daily talk “What can you see in the classroom?”学生答对后,老师给予肯定的评价并奖励粘纸引出Very good. Today, I feel honored to have the chance to share my ideas about how to teach reading. long-term development and enable them to use In the reading process, I will focus on students’  proper reading skills and strategies. In other words, students are guided to read efficiently and independently. My teaching plan will include 3 sections. They’re analysis of the reading material, identifying the teaching aims and teaching procedures. Section 1 Analysis of the teaching material The selected teaching material is a magazine article taken from the Project section of Module 11, Unit 2 of Advance with English. The article is about British students who take a gap year, which is intended to develop the theme of the unit, that is, getting a job. After analyzing it carefully, I find the article has two s a long passage with 688 words, much more than the usual texts. Second, it unique characteristics. F irst, it’ deals with a new topic, that is, a gap year. The topic is unfamiliar to most students. Section 2 Identifying the teaching aims Based on the analysis of the teaching material, I have chosen the following as the teaching aims of my lesson: The 1st aim: Students learn the skills and strategies to read a prolonged text. The 2nd aim: Students get a better understanding of what a gap year is. The 3rd aim: Students are encouraged to figure out the implied meaning. The 4th aim: Students are familiar with various expressions or approaches to express the same idea. Section 3 Teaching procedures In order to achieve the teaching aims mentioned above, I decide to choose guided reading and Task-Based Teaching as the main teaching approaches. With the teaching methods, I can guide students to use effective reading strategies to browse the text, solve problems and complete different tasks. The teaching procedures include four parts. They’re getting ready, focusing on main facts, reading between the lines and responding the text. Part 1 Getting ready existing background Reading begins before a book is opened. It’s important to activate students’  knowledge and draw their attention to the topic of the text. In this part, I will use the pre-reading activities to increase students ‘concentration, arouse their curiosities, fire their imagination and give them a purpose for reading. The part consists of two tasks: Task 1: A time machine I start my lesson by asking senior 3 students what the date is. Then, I go on to show a picture of a time machine. I tell students that the machine with a magic power will bring them to their graduation from high school, which is 1 year away. At that point, I get them to imagine where they are and what they are doing. After it, I give a summary of their presentations as follows: After leaving high school, most of Chinese students go straight to university. Yes, at this time next year, most of you will be former knowledge and imagination about studying in a university .(With the task, I inspire students’  graduating from high school and going to college, which can draw their attention to the theme of the reading material and get them ready for the following reading) Task 2: Brainstorming After the summary, I go on to show some more pictures of British fresh students from high schools, and tell students that more and more students in the UK are doing something different instead of going straight to university. After that, I play the tape of Paragraph1 and get students to catch the answer to the question: They will travel or work on projects for up to a year before entering university more about what their British equivalents will do before (With the task, I excite students’ desire to know going to a college. With the question in mind, students will definitely be eager to listen to the tape to find the answer )

At the same time, we should get the students to understand some difficult words and phrases to comprehend the text better. Teaching aims: 1)Knowledge aim: To review the word formation and master the useful words and phrases 2)Ability aim: To expand the students’ vocabulary. Let the student learn new words about school facilities. To help them learn how to apply them in English learning. 3)Moral aim: Enable the students to talk about school facilities and love their school facilities. Teaching difficult point: 1)How to make use of word formation to enlarge their vocabulary and improve their reading ability. 2)The usage of some key words. 3)To recognize and understand vocabulary about school facilities. Part 2 Analysis of the students: 1. The Ss have known something about school facilities through the Internet and other ways. 2. They are lack of vocabulary. 3. They don’t often use English to express themselves and communicate with others. 4. Some Ss are not active in the class because they are afraid of making mistakes. I?ll prepare five parts to say something about this lesson. Part one:Analysis of the teaching material “Fun with English”this teaching material pays more attention to children?s interests, experience. Many topics in it are related to our daily life. That is helpful for children to learn. The topic of this lesson is “weekends activities”. In this lesson, we?ll through a passage to talk about our weekends activities. We?ll learn some new words, phrases, sentence patterns and reading skills. The purpose is to improve students?abilities of reading and using language. According to these, my teaching aims are: 1.To enable the students to communicate with others about weekends freely, by using the new sentence patterns“How do you spend your weekends? I often……Sometimes…….”“How does he/she spend his/her weekends? He/ She often……Sometimes…….” 2.To make the students understand the meaning of new words and phrases: weekends, learn……from, sport, spend, watch cartoons, catch butterflies. 3.To train the students? abilities of using reading skills to find out the information they need quickly. 4.To encourage the students to communicate with others in English. They can talk freely and needn?t worry about making mistakes. Eg: free talk, video in after-reading. 3.Task-based method This is a lesson of reading, I?ll teach them to use reading skills to complete different levels of tasks. Part three: Learning methods As the old saying goes:“It is better to teach one the skill of fishing than to offer him fish.”According to this lesson and students situation, I?ll teach them to use skimming, scanning and intensive reading to cultivate their reading abilities. 第一次教学教研专题会议 时间:2015年2月13日 地点:办公室 人员:全体老师 主持:骆仁彬 主讲:赵长松 内容: 一、工作目标 1、全面落实教学常规管理 2、提高教育教学质量和成绩 3、减轻师生过重负担 (1)开展的教研活动都是乡中心学校要求的 (2)布置的工作都是乡中心学校要检查的 二、工作内容 (一)落实教学常规管理 1、要求任课教师必须按照课程表授课,不得随意串课、不上课。不得体罚、变相体罚学生,尤其是罚站、罚蹲写作业。 2、要求课前一首歌,让校园内充满歌声。上课时间做到不拖、不压堂,上、下课师生行规定礼节,禁止将学生撵出课堂。 3、早自习晨读,要求课堂内有朗朗的读书声。 4、班主任要帮助科任教师制定每个学科的课代表,课代表帮助任课教师取教科书。教科书发放应该在课前进行,不要耽误上课时间。学生如果想借阅教科书可以向任课教师申请。

5、教案检查:每月一次。 (1)要求教案课时内容适当,目标、过程、反思齐全,媒体运用恰当,书写工整规范。课后反思及时。 (2)课时量要符合要求,按18周计算。 (3)根据校长要求教案检查情况每月公布一次。 6、作业检查:每月一次。 (1)中高年级大作文8篇,一、二年级造句(写话)练习每学期10次。语文每课一次,数学每周3次,外语每课一次。科学、品德每课一次,其他学科要有实践性作业。 (2)作业要求学生书写规范、整洁、格式统一。 (3)作业批改课内正式作文至少精批8次,评语恰当。其他作业评价采用等级制,教师要注明批改日期,写在作业右下方。有适当的批改摘记。 (4)寒、暑假作业要批改,等待上级部门检查。 (二)提高教学质量和成绩 1、语文、数学、英语学科要有相应的单元测试和随堂检测,可以以年级组进行测试,要有单元测试成绩。要有月考成绩。其他学科要有平时成绩,每生不少于5次。 2、任课教师尤其是科任教师不能脱离教材授课,必须完成教材的规定任务。 3、听课笔记每学期20课时,要求将听课时间写清楚。 4、政治笔记每周一次。 5、积极参加教研活动。努力干好本职工作
