同学们:

大家下午好!

今天由我来和大家探讨一下英语学习的方法。好之者不如乐之者,乐之者不如以之为乐者!学好英语在一般情况下可用如下规则描

述:“动因+兴趣”——决心——持之以恒———见效。可见兴趣是

学好英语最关键的问题。让自己喜欢上英语英语学习的效率才是最

高的!那么怎么样才能建立起自己学习英语的兴趣呢?要想明白这个

问题先要搞清楚你为什么不喜欢学习英语,根据这几年的教学经验,我总结了大概有以下几点:

第一,课堂英语枯燥乏味。在课堂上,教师比较注重生词与语法点,而对一些比较有趣的知识(比如中英文化差异)则只是一言而过,无法引起学生学习的兴趣,并且同学们开口机会少,这也是导致产

生“哑巴英语”的因素之一;

第二,英语生词难以掌握,课后习题量过多。难背的英语单词让不少同学烦恼,而课后可怕的“题海”使同学们坠入一个个深渊。

对英语不少同学都是敬而远之;

第三,缺乏英语学习环境与方法。好的环境会使英语教学质量大大提高,同时也能增加同学们的兴趣。打个比方:如果你身在英国,学习英语还会如此困难,如此痛苦吗?显然不会。而好的学习方法则

可以避免同学走弯路,不致处处碰壁。

第四,英语无用论。一个无法忽略的现实是:中考要考英语,高考要考英语,考研也要考英语。世界上绝大多数的科学文献是用英

语写成的,世界范围内不管是政治、军事还是经济最广泛使用的语

言也是英语。有可能你现在学英语用不到,但是我可以负责人地说,你这辈子离不开英语,不管你在国内还是国外。

好的,既然我们知道了不喜欢甚至讨厌英语的原因,那么我们如何培养英语学习的兴趣呢?其实也很简单。

从简单的开始,我现在问一下同学们你们觉得学习英语最基本的原则是什么?有谁知道请举手……对了最基本的原则就是简单原则,

举个例子,比方说有人问你:What’syourname?你回答:Mynameisjake.I’mjake.很明显I’mjake.要远远好于Mynameisjake.这就是简单原则,越简单越好!英语学习不外乎就是听、说、读、写,都应从最简单的开始,只有从简单的开始,才容

易入门,才容易产生"兴趣",才容易把事情进行下去。简单原则有

巨大的优点:1、造就成就感,培养自信。2、增加兴趣。3、语言朗

朗上口。4、易于学以致用。但是很学生对简单的语言往往不屑一顾,在学英语中最喜欢追求一个字——"难"。尽管学了很多难的东西,

却不会用。而事实上,简单的东西如能灵活、准确地使用才是真正

重要的。当然这并不是说"难的单词"和"复杂句型"一点儿也不能用,或者说没有用。学会容易的东西,并把容易的东西融会贯通地加以

运用才是英语学习的关键所在。多学习一门语言,就是多了一对耳朵、一对眼睛和一张嘴。这个形容一点也不夸张。

下面我们就从听说读写四个方面来具体说一下英语的学习方法。

一.听力练习方法建议

1.根据个人英语掌握程度,选择难度适中,语速适当的听力磁带。

2.选择心情舒适的时候进行听力练习,效果更佳。听力最佳时间为早上9点至10点,下午4点至5点,晚上8点至9点,这些时段

记忆力最好,工作效率最高。

3.挑选自己喜欢的英语磁带练习,建议选择趣味性强,故事性强的听力材料。比如:英语童话故事,世界名著(简单版)等。

二.口语练习方法建议

1.首先要掌握基本日常用语,词汇和短语,以初中到高中学习词汇为标准,大约6000词汇,300短语。另外这些只是最基本的词汇

掌握量,若要脱口而出,还需掌握最少四级词汇。

2.一般买英语磁带都配有磁带读物,比如上面说到的英语童话故事和世界名著。磁带作为听力练习,读物作为练习口语阅读练习,

配合磁带来纠正自己的发音,一举两得。

3.若有机会在城市碰到老外,可以邀请他们和自己留影,只要留影就OK了,如果词汇不足,不要深谈。这样可以锻炼胆量和口语呢。我和老外是这么说的:

关于口语练习,可以结合听力练习一起进行,这里我就不重复了,另外看英语电影也可以练习口语,以电影对话一句为单位,静音练习。这样效果很好,熟练之后可以看着电影说对话呢!

三.阅读练习方法建议

1.根据自己掌握的词汇量选择难度适当的英语读物,一般市面上有小学,初中英语读物。

2.阅读英语书籍,不要一目十行,不是当成小说来看,要本着学习的态度去看,除非英语掌握十分出色,那另当别论。

3.在阅读过程中遇到生词不要一一去查字典,这样费时又不容易把握故事情节。大部分生词重复率很高,根据上下文可以猜测它的

词性和大概意思。譬如人名,地名等。其他生词若实在影响阅读,

建议马上查,然后把它记在笔记本上,作为背诵词汇之一。

四.写作练习方法建议

1.经常写英语日记是最快最有效的写作练习方法,根据词汇量掌握多少,写出难度适中的日记,字数根据个人喜好调整

2.一些讲述写作方法的作文书和美文欣赏,可以买来供自己参考和借鉴。

我的小技巧:

注意观察四周一切有英语文字出现的地方。譬如路上的招牌,包装袋上的英文等等。总之时刻让自己接触英语,平时小事也不放松。

首先感谢区教研室的领导给我一次与大家交流的机会。在座的各位毕业班英语老师都是经验非常丰富的,在大家面前来谈英语教学

的经验实在是惭愧。为了提高英语教学质量,我的确是想了很多的

办法,这里面有成功带来的喜悦,也有失败带来的反思。这些谈不

上经验,现简单地做个介绍,如有不当之处,敬请各位批评指正。

记得刚刚走上工作岗位的我曾经信心百倍,认为小学英语教学应该是很简单的事情,不就是听、说、读、写嘛,没什么难的,但真

正开始教学,真正开始接触学生之后,我才感觉到:小学英语教学

尤其是我们农村学生的英语教学真是坎坷难行。教学一开始我就遇

到了种种问题。有一大部分学生在潜意识里根本没有把英语当一回事,有些学生甚至有抵触的情绪。从家庭上看,我们的学生家庭大

部分属于农村家庭,英语没有被受到重视,再加上家长能听懂英语

的少之又少,更别说辅导了。从环境上来看,学生除了课堂上短短

的40分钟外,基本上就没有使用英语的环境了,放学后听英语磁带

的作业也有大部分学生不能自觉完成,再加上英语课课时较少,因

此我的英语教学开展得并不顺畅。面对如此多的问题,我决定从学

生的学习兴趣、学习方法和学习习惯方面去入手解决。现想从我的

切身体会谈几点做法及建议:

一、要从自身找原因,培养学生学习英语的兴趣。

自己先要想办法,持有一份乐观的态度,勤思考,乐奉献。给学生一份爱,让学生喜欢你,从而喜欢上你的英语课。因为兴趣是最

好的老师,当学生喜欢上你的课了,专心地听讲了,那课堂上所取

得的效果不就事半功倍了吗?在培养学生学习兴趣方面,我做了如下

工作:

(一)、用爱去灌溉学生。

首先用心地给学生一份爱。因为爱可以融化人与人之间的隔阂,给学生一份爱,同时你也会收获到他们对您的爱。我们要在日常生

活接触中体现爱,例如下课后,我大多时间都会逗留在班里,跟他

们谈谈学习上的问题、说说家常话或开个玩笑逗逗他们,他们会不

亦乐乎。时间长了,他们就把我当朋友了。记得2004年那届我班有

个顽皮又聪明的学生叫黄永樟,各门功课成绩极差,经常不及格甚

至低分,是让语文数学老师头疼的学生。可英语科他却十分感兴趣,能拿八、九十分,为什么他英语成绩那么高呢,原因是他被我“俘虏”了,很爱上英语课,也很喜欢给我拉家常。有一次,下课了,

他走到我跟前,兴奋地告诉我,他家大母狗生了5条小狗,可爱极了。

(二)、注重课前、课堂中气氛的调和。

每次上课走来,总能从楼下听到我班朗朗的英语读书声,当我站在讲台上的第一句话便是及时地、微笑着表扬他们:“Youhadagoodjob,children。”在楼下我已经能听到你们朗朗的

读书声了,老师真开心啊,你们读得那么好,或很自豪的或说:“哇,你们读书真棒,所有老师听了也对你们竖起了大拇指”,这

样小小的表扬就充分树立他们的自信心,他们会很高兴,下次他们

会读得更好。别以为这样的方法六年级不适用了,恰好这些方法我

都是一年级,六年级通用的,课堂上也注重学生的学习状态,随时

调整课堂气氛,使学生在一个良好的氛围里不知不觉地学到了知识。

记得去年的六(1)班下午第一节英语,由于3月份天气原因,学生总

有一种“春眼不觉晓,处处闻啼鸟”的倦态,那节课学生的精神状

态很差,学习积极性不高,我想:如果这样讲下去效果肯定不好,

于是我临时利用我班的搞笑大王叶宝彬同学做着火点,从他入手,

我说:“Hello宝彬,howoldareyoutoday?”他被我突如其来的问

题吓愣了,我顺势说:“我猜你有30岁了”全班同学一听,哈的一

声笑起来,眼神都看着宝彬,我说:“看你今天上课的心态有30岁

了吧?好,老师决定今天帮你时光倒流,把你变成3岁的小孩子,好吗?”这时宝彬不好意思的笑了,全班同学也来起了精神,他们倒要

看看我怎样把宝彬同学变成一个3岁的小孩子。也许有的老师会说,这样每天浪费时间在与学习无关的事上,不就事倍功半了吗?我觉得

恰恰相反,每节课恰当的气氛调节,是课堂上良好的调料,把他们

的学习注意力集中到课堂上,那效果不就事半功倍了吗,总比罗罗

嗦嗦讲纪律强多了,而实践证时,我也收到了较好的教学效果

二、抓好课堂教学掌握良好的学习方法。

不管是哪一门学科,要想有好成绩,课堂教学的质量是最重要的,课后炒冷饭,补的效果当然也有,那肯定会费时费力。在课堂教学

方面,要注意方法,尤其是一些无味枯燥的内容,要找易于学生理

解的切入点,要想方设法吸引学生。对于自己今天所上的内容自己

一定要有个清晰的思路,课后及时反思。例如反思一下你今天教的

开心吗?学生学得开心吗?学生学到了什么,遗漏了什么等等。同时

对于一些后进生,课堂上千万不要丢掉他们,不理他们,不给他们

发言、练说的机会。相反,要像警察一样时常盯着他们,与他们进

行目光的交流。因为他们后进,可能有更多的听不懂的地方,而容

易开小差,教师的目光以及点名回答,一是提醒他认真听课,同时

也是在给他练习的机会。

三、培养良好的学习习惯。

(一)、全面实行“一帮一”,充分发挥学生的作用。

为了提高英语教学质量,提高学生的英语学习成绩,我还注意培养学生的互助学习习惯,分小组学习,小组成员结成一帮一的互助

对子,充分发挥学生的作用,例如做有关语法和时态得练习题时,

让他们同桌或小组讨论:这题为什么这样做,原因是什么,让他们

用语法或时态等说出理由,说服对方。这样既让基础好的学生所学

的知识得到了巩固,又帮助了其他的同学共同进步,不再出现很严

重的“两极分化”,可以说是一举两得。

(二)、课后补差工作。

班里总会出现一些个别的差生,不是学习习惯差就是基础差,教师一定要课后花工夫,进行辅导。例如我就我校实际情况,请示校长,同时得到校领导的大力支持,每天利用早读前20分钟,到三楼

电教室给他们补课。让他们把遗忘的知识都温故而知新。我觉得这

样做效果还是挺大的,原来不及格的学生都追赶上来了,消灭了不

及格率。

作为一名小学英语老师,我们肩负的担子是沉重的,我们的任务是艰巨的,古语说的好,教有法,但无定法,重在用法,贵在创法。希望我们全体英语老师共同努力,创造更多的教学方法,更有效地

提高英语教学质量。以上是我对小学英语教学的一些浅谈,说得不

好请批评指教。谢谢大家!

新教法的需要。能适应当今素质的需要,才能把握新知识体系和学

生实际,提高课堂效益达到“英语新课标”设计理念的基本要求。

一句话,顺应教育改革发展潮流,当一名合格的小学英语教师。达

到教书育人的目的。

反复学习新课程标准理念,深刻领会英语课程的要求。我们要学习把握新课程标准的理念,目标和内容。小学英语教学属于英语启

蒙教育,学生通过听、说、动唱、玩具备一定的语言基础。并获得

初步的听说能力和一定的语感。基于小学生的心理特点,以及新课

标的要求,小学英语教学应该以提高兴趣为主。

一、激发学生学习英语的兴趣

兴趣是最好的老师,学生只有对英语有浓厚的兴趣才会愿意学,要让学生有兴趣,我们首先得让学生感到英语易学,其次让学生乐

学,最后培养学生的自学能力,培养他们对英语学习的积极态度。

使他们建立初步的学习英语的自信心。

二、教学方式

依据新课标的要求,新教材的教学必须根据小学生的学习特点,创建以活动课为主的教学模式。重点培养学生用语言进行交流的能力。采用听、说、唱、玩、演的方式。鼓励学生积极参与,大胆表

达使学生从动脑、动口、积极思维参与教学活动。如低年级学生可

灵活处理教材内容,将其编成儿歌、童谣。课堂中多采用游戏教学法,加上教师灵活亲切的身体语言,使得课堂丰富多彩、轻松活跃。培养学生能在图片、手势的帮助下,听懂语速较慢的话语或录音材料。

三、创设情景

用自己充满激情的表情和动作去感染学生,让学生积极的参与到学习中来。变被动学习为主动学习,创设情景,相互交流,启发学

习动机,树立学习信心。直观情景教学是小学英语教学之中一种很

重要的教学技巧。教师要充分利用教科书中的课文来创设情景,如

打电话、购物、生日聚会、旅游、问路等。为学生提供使用英语进

行交流的机会。

通过新教材的学习,我们迎接了新理念新考验新挑战。我们只要大胆运用新理念、新方法到课堂实践中。努力落实新课标。就回探

出一条用好新教材的新路子
