新教材高二英语选修6 Unit1 Reading说课稿

一、教学课型:阅读理解课

以语言习得理论、语言迁移理论等为理论基础,根据《新课程标准》和《教学大纲》的要求,我确立本课总的教学指导思想为:主动阅读,自主发展,培养学生英语语言能力和分析解决问题的能力。

阅读理解课是高中教学中的重要课型之一,旨在培养学生的阅读理解能力。教学过程以听、说、读为主,之后上升到写。遵循从信息输入到信息加工处理,最后到信息输出的原则,真正着眼于“提高学生用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力,特别注重提高学生用英语进行思维和表达的能力。

二、教材分析

1、教材内容分析:本课选自《普通高中课程标准实验教科书英语》教材选修6 第一单元阅读和理解部分。本单元的话题是“西方绘画艺术的历史、中西方各种艺术形式与风格,各时代的著名画家以及他们的作品。让学生了解绘画艺术及发展的不同风格,培养他们对艺术的兴趣并基本懂得如何欣赏艺术作品。

2、教学目标

根据高中英语教学大纲规定,通过发展学生听、说、读、写的基本技能,扩大学生的基础知识,培养在口头上和书面上用英语进行交际的能力,侧重培养阅读能力,使学生获得一定的自学能力,为继续学习打好基础。

(1)知识目标:

了解来自世界各国的艺术家,知道西方简短的绘画艺术发展史。学习重点单词和习惯用语。

(2)能力目标:

培养学生的阅读能力与技巧,了解著名画家。

(3)情感目标

鼓励学生努力学习,并试着发展对艺术的爱,帮助学生在学习和生活上形成良好的习惯,对艺术产生兴趣。

3、教学重点和难点

(1)教学重点:训练学生阅读理解、归纳语篇主旨要义及独立获取信息的能力,通过练习进一步理解课文。

(2)教学难点:学会使用不同的阅读方法来阅读课文。

三、学情分析:

1、通过词汇教学以及课前预习,大部分学生对本节课已有所了解。

2、通过预习,学生能理解课文大意,但对西方艺术这一内容了解太少,导致理解有偏差。

3、课文中生词较多、较长,导致学生在阅读中遇到很多困难。

四、教学方法

根据高中英语课程标准,根据“整体语言教学”的理论和实践,以及当前教学改革的新理念,为达成上述的教学目标,运用“任务型”英语教学法。在实际的教学活动中,充分体现教师在教学活动中的主导、组织和监控的作用。充分发挥学生在教学活动中的主观能动性。以学生为中心,开展自主性学习活动,促使学生通过探究、独立思考以及合作学习的方式,完成学习任务。优化学生的学习

方式,提高课堂学习效果。通过互动的学习方式,培养学生的合作学习精神。根据课文内容的特点,根据高中英语课程标准的要求,为实现该课的教学目标,以提高学生阅读理解能力为重点,加强学生听说读写综合能力,我设计以下教学步骤:

1. 新课导入:通过图片激活学生头脑中已有的知识结构,导入新课。展示几幅图片,让学生回答问题:

展示图片,检查学生对课文的学习情况。

6.总结、概括文章。

[设计说明]通过所学知识,了解西方艺术发展史,激发对艺术的兴趣爱好。课后能搜集有关知识,是本课的重点。

教学反思:整个教学过程均以任务型教学法贯穿。任务的设计都以教材的特点作为重要依据,同时考虑到学生的认知规律。任务的编排依照了从简入繁,从浅入深,从易到难的原则。符合学生实际,符合教学实际,符合认知规律。学生通过完成教学任务的同时,自然而然地习得了语言知识,培养和形成了语言技能,提高了阅读理解能力。而且,通过对文章的理解,加强了对学生品格情操、艺术修养、欣赏水平的培养。同时,提高学生自我完成任务的能力和策略。学生在讨论学习和合作学习中形成用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力。

高中英语选修6 Unit 1 A SHORT HISTORY OF WESTERN PAINTING Art is influenced by the customs and faith of a people. Styles in Western art have changed many times. As there are so many different styles of Western art, it would be impossible to describe all of them in such a short text. Consequently, this text will describe only the most important ones. Starting from the sixth century AD. The Middle Ages(5th to the 15th century AD) During the Middle Ages, the main aim of painters was to represent religious themes. A conventional artist of this period was not interested in showing nature and people as they really were. A typical picture at this time was full of religious symbols, which created a feeling of respect and love for God. But it was evident that ideas were changing in the 13th century when painters like Giotto di Bondone began to paint religious scenes in a more realistic way. The Renaissance(15th to 16th century) During the Renaissance, new ideas and values gradually replaced those held in the Middle Ages. People began to concentrate less on religious themes and adopt a more humanistic attitude to life. At the same time painters returned to classical Roman and Greek ideas about art. They tried to paint people and nature as they really were. Rich people wanted to possess their own paintings, so they could decorate their superb palaces and great houses. They paid famous artists to paint pictures of themselves, their houses and possessions as well as their activities and achievements. One of the most important discoveries during this period was how to draw things in perspective. This technique was first used by Masaccio in 1428. When people first saw his paintings, they were convinced that they were looking through a hole in a wall at a real scene. If the rules of perspective had not been discovered, no one would have been able to paint such realistic pictures. By coincidence, oil paints were also developed at this time, which made the colours used in paintings look richer and deeper. Without the new paints and the new technique, we would not be able to see the many great masterpieces for which this period is famous. Impressionism(late 19h to early 20th century) In the late 19th century, Europe changed a great deal, from a mostly agricultural society to a mostly industrial one. Many people moved from the countryside to the new cities. There were many new inventions and social changes also led to new painting styles. Among the painters who broke away from the traditional style of painting were the Impressionists, who lived and worked in Paris. The Impressionists were the first painters to work outdoors. They were eager to show how light and shadow fell on objects at different times of day. However, because natural light changes so quickly, the Impressionists had to paint quickly. Their paintings were not as detailed as those of earlier painters. At first, many people disliked this style of painting and became very angry about it. They said that the painters were careless and their paintings were ridiculous.
